Just one thing I would like to add. The shower handle was not working properly. They should have checked it before allowing guests in that room.

Friendly efficient staff, easy check in. Nice room, comfortable bed. Overlooking Oriente railway station ( At my request) Good quality buffet breakfast. Huge shopping mall 3 minutes away.

From easy check-in to speedy and delicious room service, the Melia was a lovely stay! Located right next to the station for easy access to trains to Sintra, buses into downtown Lisbon and 3 subway stops from the airport. So easy to get around and see the city, visit the shopping centre across the street and wander the streets nearby. A great stay overall!

Everything about this hotel was really quite nice, except the sink in my bathroom didn't drain (room 704). I asked them to fix it, and someone came, but it still didn't drain after that. They clearly knew this was a problem when I called to have it fixed, so I question why they would offer a room in this condition. I would stay here again, but next time I would check all facilities before settling in and request another room if everything wasn't in working order.

A Slice of Comfort!
What a wonderful stay! The staff was amazing! Earlier check in post red-eye flight and quick service to get a cot. Our room was comfortable for two adults and 2 children. Very comfy, firm beds and the couch and cot were already prepared for us upon arrival! I was surprised how little noise we heard from our room, as the train was right outside our window, but we didn’t hear anything in the hallway either. Curtains in the room were excellent for keeping the room dark. Tight parking, but we made it work and they even had a charging station! Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel fantástico! Quarto excelente, grande, confortável, banheiro grande, janelas amplas, bastante luz natural, mobília de primeira... Só pontos positivos. Única ressalva é quanto à sua localização. Para se deslocar dali para os principais pontos turísticos de Lisboa perde-se muito tempo no metrô ou demais meios de transporte, que são vastos na região. Muito perto do aquário de Lisboa, Torre Vasco da Gama, shopping Vasco da Gama e do parque das nações, além de ser uma região repleta de serviços. Recomendo se estiver procurando curtir Lisboa de uma forma diferente da habitual.

Melia - always a good choice
Melia is always a good stay for us... whenever it's available, we tend to go back, because we consistently get good service, and the hotels are always clean, with good amenities, and very friendly staff. Lisbon's Oriente location did not disappoint, and was very much in line with previous experiences. The room was nice and spacious, bathroom was great. Having USB ports next to the bed was a nice surprise since we didn't need to worry about our phones charging.

Great stay in the Parque Das Nacoes! Near metro.
We needed to get to the airport early so this hotel was perfect. 1 minute walk to the Oriente Metro which goes straight to the airport and it’s in a great location with a 1 minute walk to the Vasco da Gama mall and the surroundings from Expo ‘98. The bed was very comfortable!

Loved that it was literally next door from the Lisboa Oriente train station which we arrived in from Porto. The hotel was very nice and our room on the 15th floor had a spectacular view of the Parque Das Nacoes district with the Vasco De Gama Tower, Vasco De Gama bridge (longest in Europe), the Tagus river, the Altice Arena and surrounding shopping and walking areas. Saw a fantastic sunrise from our room before our morning breakfast buffet downstairs! I would recommend this hotel anytime, but mostly because of it's proximity to the airport as we spent our last night in Lisbon before flying back home. Obrigado Melia Lisboa Orient for our very pleasant stay in your hotel!

Hotel is in a great area, beside a shopping centre and close to the airport. However, check in took a bit longer than normal. Also, we had brown stains on our towels, called front desk and they said they’d send someone. An hour later, had to call them again to get towels. Lights in washroom were not functional.

Lovely hotel
Good location near train station and many restaurants. Also near river, really beautiful area. Great staff, delicious breakfast, very large room with fridge, couch area, lotion. Elevators very different and missed many times as had to put floor number in before getting on. Too many lights and switches but very dark in bathroom where you need it.

We booked this hotel very last minute for the last night of our break in Lisbon, as we were desperate for a good night's sleep after a terrible few nights in an old apartment. We were so pleased, it was exactly what we needed. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. Mattress on the king size bed was quite firm, but the pillows were better than most you find in hotels. Air conditioning is good. Everything was clean and the room was super spacious. It was the best sleep of my holiday! Shower and complementary toiletries were wonderful, and the towels were lovely and fluffy. Location is good if you specifically want to visit things in Parque das Nações, short walk to all the restaurants and Oceanarium, but not as a base for tourist Lisbon stuff. It's a 15 min drive to the airport which is handy. The only downsides were 1) the bathroom door didn't close properly, 2) one of the elevators didn't seem to be working, which led to a very long wait on the morning we needed to check out.

Great location. Quiet and clean. Showered gel and shampoo provided. Only problem is the shower is super slippery , it was quite scary trying to shampoo my hair while trying to hold on to the safety bars.

Room is clean and with lot of storage. Closed to Subways and trian stations. Breakfast is with good quality and lot of choice.
