I was looking for a safe, clean budget hotel within walking distance of Camden music venues. That's exactly what I got. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was basic, but clean and comfortable. It suited my needs perfectly.

Hotel picture on website is for the property being refurbised at the rear of the actual cornerhouse hotel? Friendly staff. Room booked was adequate size for stay period, but was a bit noisy with velux windows open due to main road outside. Double bed mattress was not very comfortable. Room decoration was a bit tired looking. Breakfast choices limited. Bus stops nearby and camden town 10-15 mins walk away. Overall, a good experience.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and it hasusually been very good. This time toilet would not flush TV did not work. Instead of china cups cutlery etc for breakfast, we had same food options but plastic cutlery, plastic bowls and clear plastic cups for Tea/coffee.

Hôtel basique, pour dormir seulement
On nous a mis dans une chambre sous les toits, au 4ième étage sans ascenseur, il y faisait une température infernale. 2 petits vélux donnant seulement sur le ciel qu'on devait laisser ouverts toute la nuit à cause de la chaleur à l'intérieur alors qu'il faisait 10 degrés à l'extérieur, le tout sur une rue hyper passante et bruyante. La télévision et le coffre fort étaient hors d'usage. Petit déjeuner pauvre, triste et sans aucune variété. Le bon point est la propreté. Dommage que les équipements et la décoration soient si passés et en mauvais état (carrelage cassé, joints mal faits...).

GROSSE SURPRISE EN ARRIVANT !!!!!!
Nous avions réservé 4 ou 5 mois avant notre départ 4 chambres dans cet hotel. Nous sommes arrivés à l’accueil et la personne nous dit que nous allons être relogé dans un autre de leurs hôtels (LONDON KINGS HOTEL) à plus d’une heure de marche sous prétexte que l’hotel où nous avions réservé est en travaux… quelle surprise ! Soit disant qu’il nous avait prévenu par mail… Après vérification c’est exact sauf qu’il a envoyé le mail la veille et que nous étions déjà dans l’avion ! J’estime que les travaux n’ont pas démarrés la veille et qu’ils auraient pu nous informer bien plus tôt ! Nous avions réservé ici, car pas loin de Camden et nous nous retrouvons à plus d’une heure de marche dans un quartier qui ne nous intéresse pas du tout. Pratique le soir pour trainer ! Après négociation avec Expedia nous avons réussi à avoir le taxi gratuit, mais ca reste une perte de temps quand même Le London kings hotel est très classe. Chambre haut de gamme mais niveau hygiène c’est un peu moyen… (j’ai trouvé un ongle de gros orteil entre la table de chevet et le lit par exemple..)

small but suffucient
The room was just sufficient given my size which is quite obese right now. The en suite bathroom just and so satisfied my needs. The room was clean, particularly the bathroom which I liked. The breakfast was continental but adequate. No complaints given the cost of this room. The downside to this stay was the location of the room without alift. Given my present health, the location on the second floor was somewhat arduous.

This hotel is basic but great for what we wanted.
Midway between Kentish Town and Camden this hotel has all we needed for a base for 2 nights. The room was small but had enough wardrobe space, a kettle, hairdryer and a surprisingly comfy bed. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. Room was clean . Breakfast was not the usual fry up but we really enjoyed it. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to have a good night's sleep and use as a base for day's out.

Hotel was ok and most of staff very friendly, the woman sorting the breakfast never said a word. Hotel is what it is but shower acces was tight and tiles need re grouting

It's worth it!
good value for the money to be so close to Camden where we were going to a gig. disappointing that neither bedside lamp worked. bed comfy, shower good. all in all a very basic accommodation. would have been nice to get a cooked breakfast rather than help yourself continental. all in all for the money though, I would stay there again!!

Das Hotel machr den anschein das es frisch renoviert wurde, jedoch die möbel wurden übernommen. Das Personal war unfreundlich, sie behaupteten sogar das ich nich nicht bezahlt hätte, bis ich die bestätigung vorlegte. W-Lan ist nur in der Lobby, ich war aber im Nebengebäude und hätte immer zurück müssen. Kostenloses W-Lan ja aber nur in der Lobby. Standort zuweit von der innenstadt aber 15 min zu Fuss zum Camden Market.

cheap and cheerfull
the hotel was clean and the staff were helpful, the room was very warm so warm I slept on the bed not in the bed, no cooked breakfast, 4 types of cereal and bread you could toast if you like some cheese and ham, coffee and tea available.

Der Herr läßt auch andere Hotels wachsen.
Die Schmutzwäsche des Vormieters hing noch über der Heizung. Das Zimmer ist feucht und muffig, in den Ecken gibt es Schimmel. Schimmel auch in der Nasszelle. Das Doppelzimmer hat nur eine Sitzgelegenheit. Ein brauch-/nutzbarer Tisch ist nicht vorhanden. Im Fussraum des Schreibtisches befindet sich der Kühlschrank. Die Vorrichtung zur Kaffee-/Teezubereitung besteht aus Wasserkocher, Pulverkaffee und Teebeutel. Besteck bestand aus einem (1) Teelöffel. Aber immerhin: das Duschwasser war heiß. Frühstück gab es. Mehr läßt sich dazu wirklich nicht sagen.

Camera piccola ma pulita e silenziosa. Situato a 15 minuti a piedi da Camden Town Station o a 5 con il bus. L'unica pecca la colazione un po' troppo basica (caffè istantaneo, fette di pane, marmellata o ham and cheese). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

Nice location, close to central of london and camd
Only the badthroom was very very small. Bedroom was enough space but blanket and the curtouns where dirty and not cleaned. Before we arrived the told us the room was not ready and in the making but it was not fixed.

Bargain for the area, not very good breakfast
Great price for the location, room a bit small and bathroom not amazing but can't complain given the price. I was not a fan of the breakfast tho, basically toast and ham and cheese.

Camden Town 2017-07 - Midt på treet.
Flott beliggenhet hvis du tenker å oppholde deg mye i Camden Town området. Alle tiders med kjøleskap på rommet og gratis WiFi fungerte slik det skulle. Ellers er det en del å utsette på. Vær klar for å bære bagasjen din opp og ned flere trapper for å komme fram til hotellrommet (Opp inn til resepsjonen, ned i bakgården, opp til det sekundære huset og så eventuelt opp flere trapper til riktig etasje). Jeg ble litt bekymret for sikkerheten min da jeg la merke til at rommet mitt var i første etasje og at vinduet ikke hadde noen låsefunksjon. Dette vinduet hadde jeg selv klart å åpne samt hoppe igjennom fra utsiden hvis jeg hadde vist at det var ingen sikkerhet her. Jeg tok dette opp med resepsjonisten og han forsikret om at det var ingen som kunne komme seg inn til bakgården dems uten å gå igjennom resepsjonen. På senere tidspunkt i løpet av mitt opphold opplevde jeg at resepsjonen var stengt når jeg kom hjem på nattestid (til tross for at jeg ble fortalt at resepsjonen var åpen og bemannet 24/7). Og jeg kom meg lett inn til bakgården ved å skyve en port (ment å åpnes for bilers tilgang til bakgården). Annet enn dette med sikkerheten og trygghestfølelsen så var også rommet veldig lytt ut til gangen. Det ble ikke noe kjempeproblem denne gangen da resten av gjestene virket å være voksne og stille folk, men jeg ser for meg at dette kan bli et problem i andre situasjoner.

Terrible! Smoky hotel. Renovations taking place and workmen live in the rooms and they smoke in their rooms. Brought to the hotels attention was spoken too like I was overacting. I checked straight back out.

Convenient fair price hotel
Comfortable hotel and central near to Camden Town which includes 24 hrs front desk+ breakfast and tea/ coffee trays in room. Shared same building as Corner House Hotel.

Cheap price, cheap quality - but for £50...
Arrived in the evening - staff were a bit miserable but helped me park my car and check-in fine. Room itself was furnished fine, but was very hot and stuffy even with windows and fridge wide open all night (no fan/AC supplied). Bed was reasonably okay, not luxury but not a brick mattress either. Shower and bathroom reasonable. Breakfast was dissapointing - stated full breakfast on booking but was in fact nothing more than room temperature cartoned juice and some sweaty ham & cheese in a tub.

Das Hotelzimmer ist klein, aber es ist sauber und zum schlafen ist es ausreichend. Das Frühstück besteht nur aus Toast und Müsli und ist nicht, wie angegeben, ein großes Frühstück.

Welcome was fine, and bed was comfortable enough, but the general décor was rather tatty, and we weren't that impressed with the selection for breakfast. Overall, we feel the third star is hard earned.

My Stay at the Camden Hotel
My son and I stayed in this hotel, unfortunately it was not very comfortable the bed was almost touching the floor!! the pillow was flat, we asked for an extra blanket, none was provided. There was no wash cloth to take a bath. Curtains at the window dirty and hanging off the hooks. No elevator granted it is an old building, guest had to walk across the court yard, go up many flights of stairs. I have a knee problem so it was torture, going up and down those stairs!!!!

Negativ: Alle 5 Minuten hört man Polizei mit Blaulicht und Sirene da in der Nähe von Polizeistation. Durch das Viertel laufen gruselige Gestalten. Das Frühstück Besteht nur aus Toast, Käse, Wurst oder Marmelade. Im Zimmer stört ein lauter Kühlschrank der nicht auszustecken ist. Die Badezimmertür klemmt. In der Dusche ist teilweise Schimmel. Die Toilette spült Toilettenpapier erst nach 4 maligen spülen weg. Positiv: günstig, 15 minuten zufuß zum camden market Sehr heruntergekommen, zutritt für jeden von außen möglich in Anlage, unangenehme Lage

Loistavat kulkuyhteydet, vaikka ei metroa ihan lähellä, bussilinja 29 lähes oven edestä puoli tuntia keskeisille paikoille (esim. Prince Edward Theatre, British Museum). Camden Market melkoisen lähellä!

Camden Town Hotel
Great basic hotel. Very clean sheets and towels changed daily. Loved the area Camden Town/Market is awesome! Would definitely stay here again. Basic but comfortable. Staff happy to give info about buses etc. 29 into Trafalgar Square 253 into Euston where we travelled to/from. Bus stops outside hotel and all down Camden Street. Wee bit noisy lots of sirens but that didnt bother us at all. Must be a hospital nearby. Continental breakfast and lots of tea/ coffee. Over all 3.5/5

Yhden hengen huone varsin pieni, positiivista lautalattia. WC-istuimen ja lavuaarin välinen tila minimaalinen (isompi ihminen ei olisi mahtunut istumaan). Siivous toimi hyvin ja pyyhkeet vaihdettiin päivittäin. Huoneen sai vasta klo 14:00. Laukun sai jättää aulaan omalla vastuulla. Liikenteen melu etenkin aamuisin häiritsevää ja siihen heräsi käytännössä joka aamu. Aamupalaan sisältyi pikakahvia/teetä, paahtoleipää, juustoa, kinkkuleikettä sekä erilaisia muroja/myslejä. Respasta sai lainaksi adapterin. Bussit 29, 253 ja 274 menivät hotellin vierestä kätevästi. 5 yötä (la-to) hotellissa kustansi huhtikuussa 2017 noin 350 €.

Poorly run hotel.
Firstly, the hotel has changed its name, which was confusing. Then a 20 minute wait for an unapologetic, half-asleep receptionist to saunter in, smelling strongly of marijuana. The room itself was okay but the 'bathroom' (no bath) was the size of an understairs cupboard. Impossible to turn around without hitting the walls or use the basin without opening the door. The breakfast included was cereal, ham and cheese, accompanied by instant coffee and was served (by one's self) in a draughty conservatory. Upon leaving, had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke emanating from the staff on a break. Good location though.

Simple out of the way hotel
The hotel was lovely and the staff was spectacular. Downside is that it's quite a walk from the station - but the bus system easily solves that problem. The area itself is a little grungey and dirty but if you're looking for great live music in London it's the place to be.

Lovely cheap hotel which was in perfect walking distance to Koko. Also was surrounded by loads of takeaway shops and good pubs.
