Interesting location right next to Battersea Heliport. The room was clean with the right facilities although the lighting made finding things in the black painted alcoves difficult. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's rest.
Eating in the restaurant, on the other hand, was much more problematic. We had booked a window table but were shown to another: when we asked for a window table again there was one available. When choosing some wine, we asked if one was sweet or dry. The staff didn’t know so they opened a bottle, tasted it, and pronounced it to be sweet - we chose anther wine. (A google search later described the wine as dry!) When ordering the food, it was obvious that the waiting staff did not know the menu items so we had to order blindly. Then came a very long wait for the meal. After some customers had left without eating, we chased up our order and was told that it was the next to be cooked. Overall, the restaurant staff gave to impression that it was their first day which needed more than a smiling manager to sort out. We later learned that ALL the restaurant staff were new.
