On the day of our arrival I got an email from the management company saying that our apartment was not available and I was offered an alternative in the Barbican area (3 subway stops from Holborn). This was less than ideal for our family, but we had little choice given that we were on route. The nearest subway was a 15-20 minutes walk. We choose the Holborn One apartment because it was centrally located for touring and shows, plus it had the sleeping configuration we wanted. The "backup" apartment was spacious, clean and safe, but the location was not great. The representative from the management company that we worked with was nice, but we should have been given more notice about the change.
