시내와 거리가 너무 멀어 힘듬

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our room (no lock on the room door) and they sorted out an alternative room straight away. Unfortunately in the new room not all the lights worked. Didn't want to move again so managed and reported it on check-out in the morning. Great restaurant. Bit of a shame that the online menu from the hotel wasn't the one on offer.

We love the rural aspect of this hotel, quiet at night. Good parking and a EV charge point.

The breakfast options were lovely, so much choice of food and drinks. The hot breakfast was not hot, just warm when we ate ours. We booked the break for the spa experience, but unfortunately, we were informed a few days before arrival that the treatments were no longer available, also, we found that the jacuzzi was out of order. We did enjoy the pool, sauna and steam room though. There were plenty of towels and shower products to use as well.

Another average, dated hotel with a good name. Cleanliness inside the 1980's style room poor, cleaned the shower room ourselves and the cloths were black. Room was too hot and the fan control just blew warm air around and was too noisy to sleep with it on. Terrestrial tv channels! Old films but only if you pay £5 each! No streaming. Bulb in shower gone, reading lamps next to bed not working either. Breakfast was good and the waitresses on shift were excellent. Needs updating/improvement. Room tired and stuck in the 80's (not a bad time but things have moved on). Needs some basic tech, a smart tv perhaps? Would cost the same as the room for a night. Balcony door left handle catches your hand as you open it.

Arrival - fine, staff friendly. Room, not the cleanest, window open, freezing cold when I went in TV did not work. Took hours to get BBC1 & BBC2 on. I don't watch BBC. Told them rest of channels were still down, nothing done after. Evening Meal - fine, but way overpriced. Staff friendly. Tea & Coffee facilities were not restocked from previous day 5am in the morning, Tonto's drums started (dun dun, dun dun, dun dun) until I left at 7:30 I expected so much more from a Marriott Bonvoy - Terrible

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, direkt an der Rennbahn, umgeben von viel grün. Das Hotel selbst ist Standard, mittelmäßig bis gut. Keine bösen Überraschungen, aber auch keine Highlights. Man könnte mehr daraus machen.

Disappointing
This was unfortunately a disappointment. I booked as I was having surgery on the Monday. The TV didn’t work. There were other peoples items left in the wardrobe. Mould in the shower. No conditioner in the dispenser. At 6am on the Tuesday, the gardener started directly below our window with a leaf blower. This list just goes on! Staff that we asked about the TV said “oh some of them just don’t work”. Not what I expected from a Marriott. Particularly as if booked a suite to try and make surgery time a little less stressful.

This hotel is really a golf and racecourse hotel. The hotel bar seems to serve as the 19th hole of the golf course and is very noisy, not the place for a quiet drink. The hotel restaurant is right next door to the bar, so is also quite noisy, but worse than that, the service was very poor, and the food seemed like it was pre-packed (possibly Brakes Bros.). The worse thing about our stay was the bed. It was way past its use-by-date, with springs that sounded like something off the Magic Roundabout (Boing), and bouncy as a trampoline. We found it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The only good thing was that we were only there for one night.

Tired - Out of touch with 2023
As a couple we loved this hotel, after this stay - we wont be hurrying back The room was dusty in many areas , condition of the chairs were not what you expect with a Marriott stay. stained and discoloured. The TV was a pre 2012 with very little channels to choice from and poor picture quality from the analogue distribution system. Swimming facilities tired and dirty - not maintained during our experience with the same dirty towels littering the floor of the gents changing room. Dinner was lovely in taste but lukewarm when eating with the service slow.

Great to stay for Chessington!
Great staff! Very professional and helpful. No in-room dining was very disappointing in a modern hotel. Most hotels have resumed that post covid. Great breakfast. Dinner needed more flavour and seasoning. Had cod and chips and pork belly. Beautiful grounds and great room with balcony. Family friendly and great spa ! Get balcony rooms if you can. Stayed with large groups of friends. The windows in a some of their standard family rooms overlooked dingy roofs. They just kept the curtains closed. Didn't blame them. Not a pleasant view at all. Very happy we had superior room with wonderful views of golf course and race track.

Pros = Nice breakfast, comfortable bed, easy free parking, and decent indoor pool. Cons = horrible hvac system in the room. We had the AC as high as it could go and the room was still very hot and humid. Couldn’t even figure out how to open the window. The gym is not well maintained. The treadmill displays didn’t work so while the machine worked it kept shutting off and I had to keep hitting buttons blindly to figure out how to turn it on. Frustrating workout. It is also a good 20-30 minutes from Gatwick which was farther than I thought when booking.

Great location
Another very enjoyable overnight stay. Very comfortable king-sized bed with excellent quality linen. Modern bathroom with double shower. Room was very light and airy. First class breakfast.
