The property was under renovation, which was fine. But our room on the 3rd floor was 80 degrees 24/7 and the a/c unit didn’t work (we were told due to construction) and our tv got only 5 stations. It would have been fine if the window would have opened but due to it being so hot and stuffy in the room I can’t give it a good review.

Another pleasant stay at Olympia.
I often stay at Olympia. It's very handy for Earls Court tube. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Hotellet er nedslidt
Meget nedslidt hotel, men med fremragende beliggenhed lige ved Earls Court undergrundstation. Personalet er venligt og hjælpsomt, men vores værelse havde møbler der dårligt hang sammen, jeg ville kunne finde bedre og mere velegnede møbler i det der bliver smidt ud fra et gennemsnitligt loppemarked. Men vi hyggede os i London.

El lugar no es para nada como se ve en fotos... al menos la habitación que a nosotros nos asignaron era un sótano, en el cual hacía demasiado calor y se sentía olor a humedad. El cuarto tenía una ventana la cual daba a la calle y se escuchaba demasiado ruido. Las instalaciones pésimas (baño y sabanas sucias) no incluye la limpieza a la habitación. La puerta de nuestra habitación estaba bloqueada en dos ocasiones, el cuarto es muy pequeño y no era posible acomodar y abrir maletas. Nos quisimos ahorrar unos pesos hospedándonos aquí y fue una de las peores experiencias.

Let's start with the positives. Good location, staff lovely, friendly and very polite. Outside appearance scaffolding so having work done which early. Morning started and so. Much banging so no rest. Room really small and no wardrobe but a sort of drawer unit with TV. Kettle absolutely filthy and needing descaling desperately. Carpet not too bad where could be seen. No air at all as window opens a tiny bit onto scaffolding. Booking was two beds but had double and no other available. Bathroom OK but toilet brush, omg, had not been cleaned at all with old tissue still on it.

Terrible. Llegué con mi familia a pasar 3 noches. La habitación pequeña. Era un sótano con mucho olor a humedad. Los colchones viejos e incómodos. El suelo es una moqueta antigua, sucia y mal cuidada. El baño era como un zulo, sin ventilación, y la cisterna no funcionaba. Después de pedir un cambio de toallas y el arreglo de la cisterna, nos las cambiaron al 2º día, pero la cisterna seguía igual. Nada recomendable.

Accommodatie had 3 sterren. De locatie was ok, dicht bij metrostation. Er werd gerenoveerd in een ander deel van het hotel. Kamer aan de doorgaande weg was zeer gehorig, enkel glas. Staat van kamer was heel slecht, veren van matras voelbaar, bed mist een deel hoofdbord, lakens gescheurd (wel schoon) hadden 2 aparte bedden geboekt maar die waren er niet. Vieze vloerbedekking en alleen de helft van de plafondverlichting werkte, alle ander verlichting was stuk. Deuren van kast los en lades van de ladenkast gammel. Badkamer met putje zonder rooster, geen planchet boven de wastafel en geen toiletrolhouder. Douche had veel schimmel in de kitranden. Dagelijkse schoonmaak zoals in de omschrijving niet aanwezig, ook water of snacks niet te krijgen in dit 3 sterren hotel. Positief, receptie was heel vriendelijk.

I have to preface this by saying it would have been one star if it weren't for the member of staff who helped me out. My single room was absolutely revolting. I don't expect high quality at that cost but I do expect basic cleanliness. The carpet was sticky to the touch and a lot of dirt was embedded in it; there was coffee splattered all over the walls; there was a terrible smell from the drain; the remote control had years worth of dirt encrusted in it, so I was afraid to use it; and I found a pubic hair in the sheets. It was also an incredibly small room so that with the combination of the dirt I felt like the walls were closing in on me. What I will say is when I went downstairs to ask if it would be possible for my room to be cleaned, the desk worker was very nice and checked to see if there was another room available. I was then moved to a double even though I paid for a single and though not a wonderful room, it was a vast improvement & I was grateful for a double. However, the drains still stank so I never had a shower because that made the smell worse, and the Wi-Fi connection no longer worked. I think because the room was further away from the router. So, though I really appreciate that member of staff, I feel I still need to give this score overall as I feel people should know what they may be letting themselves in for. I feel very lucky that I was moved but if there hadn't been space that wouldn't have happened, and I would have been stuck in that filthy room.

This property needs to be remodeled completely so it can serve as a hotel. It is just falling apart each and every ways. Not for a family maybe for singles who do not want to stay on the streets.

The room was tiny. No air conditioning. No fans. Filthy carpet. Dirty windows. Hair dryer broken. To be fair, the bed and the bathroom looked clean, but there was an open drain in the floor. Bottom line: You Get What You Pay For.

Good, a bang for the price
Don't be scared by the awful reviews. It is not as bad as described. I mean, comfort levels are not as a 5 stars hotel, but the rooms are not dirty and the staff is friendly. Furniture is a bit worn off, but given the price and the location it is very good!

This property was a step up from downtime Mumbai, but not up to UK standards. The staff were friendly and the location is good. But - there was a leak coming down the wall from the room above, the toilet seat was not properly attached, the furniture was all broken, the mattress and bedding - altho washed, were awful. It is a 'budget option' in the most extreme sense of that term.

Worst ever
The hotel was very dirty. Carpets were so dirty you could actually see the grease and dirt layer as a different colour. The room was epicly small. The bedsheets were dirty there were yellow-orange stains on it. There was this horrible smell in the whole hotel. The bedsheets were smelling like rotten eggs so bad that I could not sleep. Toilet was dirty probably never cleaned with a cleaning liquid. I could not wait the time to pass. Never again.

I stayed in this Olympia overnight and I’m glad that I didn’t have to stay longer. The room walls were dirty with splatter or some sort of liquid and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it happened. The toilet bowl was brown. We didn’t stay long inside the room as we planned to be out and about and we just used it for sleeping but when the morning comes and we would like to have a cuppa, the cups were not washed at all! I wouldn’t want to stay there again nor would I recommend it to anybody. I even took a photo but unfortunately cannot show in here to prove my reviews.

Room was disgusting, dirt and damage everywhere. There was a broken drawer rotting on a small balcony along with used toiletries and hundreds of cigarette butts, the beds themselves must have been dragged out of a skip !! They had a sheet of hardboard screwed to the bed base under the mattress. The room was not secure.

Difficulty getting wifi in first floor room and smelt smokey. Still an issue with no flexibility in changing a booking made in Dec in error instead of November on mobile. Despite over 6 months notice of highlighting error and stating that I was a regular customer they would not change it.
