Location is good. However there is no onsite property manager or counter. No luggage storage and do not have the warm atmosphere of welcome like the hotel. Need to email the staff to turn on the stove. Checkin time is not flexible. We stayed there for 4 days, no house keeping. No garbage collection bin outside the unit. All garbage will stay in your for the length of your stay. Need to pay $40 for house keeping on top of the cleaning fee you already paid in the booking. Actual room is smaller than the pictures on the website

Dear Wendy,Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay with us. We are truly sorry to hear you did not have the same great experience a vast majority of our guests do. Crane Court is an unmanned property as stated on Expedia’s website and there is no reception desk per se, therefore this should not have been expected. That said, our team is available 24/7 and you have received an immediate assistance when you contacted us about a stove, which was working perfectly fine, but you were unsure how to switch it on. Check-in time is from 3pm (also indicated on your booking confirmation) as in a majority of service apartments, simply so that our team have sufficient time to provide a full cleaning service between departures and new arrivals. When possible, however, we always facilitate an early check-in or assist with the storage of the luggage.Please kindly note that the complimentary cleaning service in the apartments is provided weekly, not daily, which is clearly indicated on Expedia. Apartments are run differently than hotels, but again – our team would have been happy to assist you had you contacted us. Nonetheless, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us and hope your next London experience will be in a more suited property.Warm regards,Malgosia

we adored our stay at Crane Courts, the apartment was perfectly located in the city and was perfectly equipped for our stay. Only constructive comment, bed mattress quality is so so and the apartment could use AC. Besides that, perfect. And City2stay staff have been exemplary in responding by email or phone to any booking or apartment issues or questions we had including reaching out for forgotten glasses. Really recommended

The property was tucked away and was very quiet. Had most amenities and was neat. Not exactly the room we thought we were getting from the pictures but was ok.

The apartment itself is amazing but should come with a noise warning as the noise levels are unbearably loud. I was in Flat 5 on the 2nd floor. I didnt sleep for the first night and used my phone earphones the second night to at least get a good few hours rest. Very clean, tidy and accommodating as i asked for a late checkout and this was granted which was so helpful as it helped with my anxiety levels of having nowhere to store my personal belongings as i was due to do a talk at 3pm and late check out was 2pm, very geateful for this.

I needed a room to stay in and also work from whilst in Court. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped. It did require access to a number of emails and instructions to get various entry codes. I would certainly book again if and when the need arises.

Perfect Historical Stay!
Simply charming room, cozy and quiet, extremely clean, and amenities provided. Digital Self-check-in was very easy, I completed the online form at arrival to Heathrow Airport and all door codes were sent immediately upon sending. Google maps suggests Farringdon Station but stay walking down Farringdon Road (much easier for luggage and to find the Court). Fan provided in the room to help with air circulation. Met Mr. George on the steps and he was so helpful and polite, offered additional luggage storage time as well. Really quaint and well-kept property, lots of journalism history in Crane Court as well as other unique sights, coffee and donut shops close, grocery, and Temple. 15 minute walk to Strand. Thameslink train to Gatwick directly down the street. Easy access to Thames walking paths. Great property, would stay again for sure!

Cosy comfort.....
We had a comfortable stay at Crane Court studio 1. Everything worked and it was lovely and cosy. Just a bit limited on worktop space in the kitchen area and the doors on the units aren't a good fit, specifically the fridge. All else was perfect, you just need to keep an eye on the two steps in the apartment when moving around.

This hotel is fairly clean and decently appointed. The location near Fleet Street is pretty great. Unfortunately there are no onsite personnel. Entry through the courtyard is granted after an online check-in process. Same for the room- actually two codes are required. Not necessarily a deal breaker but challenging for weary travelers with luggage, especially if it is raining outside. The hotel room was almost unbearably warm, with no way to address it other than to open the only window a bit onto a dirty back fire escape. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and clean. Unfortunately the water in the shower seemed to be stuck at scaldingly hot. Try as I might there didn’t seem to be a way to get it cooler. With no one to reach out to to address these issues it didn’t feel like the most hospitable stay. A folder in the room offered a number to call in case of an emergency but none of the issues I experienced seemed worthy of SM emergency.
