매우 좋았던 호텔!
직원들이 매우 친절했고, 모든 질문에 친근하게 응대해줘서 고마웠다. 덕분에 숙박하는 내내 내 집에 있는 것 같은 편안함을 느꼈다.

The hotel and its attached bar were wonderful, and both the owner and the staff were all lovely as well. I would just highlight three things to be mindful off: 1) It's a bit far from the center of London, Google said it was roughly less than 30 minutes away, but with commute traffic it was closer to 45 minutes. 2) Since its a historical building they aren't allowed to add an elevator, so you'll need to go up a fairly length flight of stairs, be mindful with your luggage. 3) And lastly, the bathroom facilities are shared between room, so the bathroom is split into three separate rooms, one with the shower, one with the sink, and one with the toilet. It took some getting used to, but I was still very happy with our stay there, and I recommend you try out their menu at the bar.

Large spacious room, super king size bed, and all on top of a great pub. The pub served food all day, was bright and airy, never too busy that noise would be an issue. All round lovely pub and hotel.

Roomy and comfortable rooms, great location close to London centre but outside of the noise and traffic. I loved it so much I booked an extra night, didn't want to leave!

The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very kind and helpful. The room was well equipped, clean, and charming! We ate several times in the pub downstairs and the service and food are excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

When we arrived at the property, I told the manager I had left my phone on the plane and was upset because we had no idea how to get around. She had a fake accent she used when taking people to their rooms. (I heard her do it to another guest.) It was very exaggerated and though she spoke English it sounded like an Italian accent. (She was definitely not Italian.) However, when I went into the pub that evening, she treated me like she didn't know me. She and another waitress made me feel unwelcome. I got onto the internet to print out our trip information and tickets we bought. If you have never lost a phone, it is earth-shattering when overseas. I asked if I could print them on her printer. She reluctantly said yes. However, I was having a problem finding them. I asked if I could come in the next day and print them, and she said no. (Remember just hours before I had told her about not having a phone. Instead, I was given directions to a printer a few streets over. We were paying guests!! My husband and I ended up finding a cheap phone from a company in London. We used it for googling and for taking pictures. My husband insisted on keeping up with that phone so I wouldn't lose another one. The morning we left I picked up the phone to see what time it was. I put it back and my husband thought I had packed it and I assumed he did because he had had it the whole time. We are sure it was in the unmade bed where I put it. She said they didn't have it.

Reasonable price for last minute booking. Ideal location to stamford bridge. Lovely bar on site. Clean comfortable room. Issue in not being able to shut bathroom window (old rattling frames that got stuck on runners). Did call for assistance but it was very late and told to keep bathroom door shut to keep room warm.

I had noticed this hotel online a couple of years ago and planned to stay there one day. I eventually got my chance last week. I had been led to believe that this was a pub with a small number of unique and welcoming rooms upstairs. However, once I'd managed to navigate two narrow flights of stairs with heavy bags (with the help of the very amenable barman), it was clear that the accommodation was not quite what I imagined. The room itself was fine. However, there was a shared bathroom and toilet which was okay but not ideal.

Amazing, spaiois but cozy and warm room with nice decor. Nice and clean bathroom with walk in shower. Friendly staff, good location. The pub is great too.

We stayed at the Captain Cook for 2 weeks and had such a great stay. Public transport was easily accessible. The room was a great size with a comfy bed. The only recommendation I would have is to maybe just have signs reminding other guests to mind their noise level. There were guests that slammed doors so loudly without any regard for the rest of the guests. Other than that were already counting down the days for our next stay.

O hotel é muito confortável e possui ótimas instalações. É razoavelmente próximo de estações de metrô (15min caminhando), e tem duas linhas de ônibus que passam na porta com muita frequência. Os únicos poréns da estadia foram a ausência de café da manhã e a distância do centro de Londres (mais ou menos 40min considerando o deslocamento a pé). Fora isso, foi uma excelente estadia.

Cannot say enough great things about this gorgeous little pub/hotel in the heart of SW London. The staff are fantastic, the pub food is amazing. For me, a little home from home in the heart of London. I’ll be back.

Amazingly sized room, bed was a super size the matress qas well past needing an upgrade, the shower in the morning was broken so neither my husband nor myself could stand under the fittibg as it hubg down too low, however the showerbon the labding more than made up for our rooms shortfalls.

Very outdated room, shower was hanging loose so that we couldn't stand in the shower but had to bend down. No good lights in the room. Would not recommend to stay here although the location was very good.

The place is well located in a quieter part of the city. The room is spacious and is exactly as advertised. The only downside was the windows don’t close thoroughly so you can hear street noise throughout the night, and especially in the morning. Overall good place for its price.

Not to be missed
Had I found this hotel years ago I would have kept to myself as it was so good, however as a 78 year old with not too many years left I am happy to pass on to others my recommendation for this first-class hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, the reception was so friendly and helpful, on top of this the pub does fantastic Spanish food at reasonable prices. It is obviously a very popular hotel pub that you have to book weeks sometimes months in advance. Well done keep up the good work.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed it, and will definitely be back! The owner, service, and food was great. Everything was clean and quiet in the hotel part, but the restaurant was very lively and fun. She let us check in early also, which was awesome since we traveled a ways. My husband and I wait to come back and spend some more time here.

A good size room, had the ensuite. Big comfortable bed, tv and tea/ coffee facilities. Well decorated room. Free toiletries. 10% discount for food at the bar due to staying there. Tapas food was amazing, good selection of wine, beers. Even got a 10% at MIL kitchen. Staff were great, friendly and couldnt do enough for you

Good quality and value
Very comfortable, bright and good sized room. Well fitted shower room. There was no noise from the other rooms or the bar downstairs. The bar/restaurant downstairs is very well styled and serves very good food. It is a very pleasant place to eat with reasonable prices.

Nice stay
Nice size room, with decent facilities. A fan was put in due to the warm weather which was nice and sorted us out an iron for our clothes! Just on a personal preference, i dont particularly like two beds attached togrther to make a super king but they were comfy enough after a long day of walking round London. Nice location with easy links to the tube stations, a short 10 min walk to 2 and a little further for another. Would def stay again. Staff very friendly and polite and everything was nice, clean and easy to use.

Amazing bed.
Checkin was easy and super friendly, the room was nice but a little ropey around the edges. The bed was amazing & the added fan during this weeks temp was nice. Overall we enjoyed The Captain Cook Hotel. The only downside for us personally (which isn't the hotels issue) is to go anywhere central into London as a tourist you're faced with a bus bus walk or a bus train walk.
