In February we embarked on a hotel wide renovation to update our offering and with the work that is currently being undertaken we have had to relocate our main entrance, bar and Promenade restaurant to other areas of the building. Although the hotel looks different visually, every effort has been made to ensure our guests still receive the same fantastic service as before. You absolutely should have been informed of the renovation works and the fact that you weren’t shows us we have more work to do in informing guests of the construction taking place. This is certainly something we can learn from of going forward and I’m sorry your experience was tarred because of this. It is never our intention for guests to leave unhappy and on this occasion we fell short, however I do hope this experience will not deter you from staying with us in the future and we look forward to welcoming you back to The Dorchester at a time that is right for you.
