When we chose our location with a price tag of $350 a night and what was names a hotel and marina, we didn't imagine we would be coming to a 60s style motel with a room that was way outdated, with dirty floors (and under the bed when we went looking for something that dropped and we had to ask for new bath mat because our dirty foot prints were appearing on the bath mat). The owner was very kind and so were those who helped us get into the room (the key was the old fashioned key and the lock kept sticking). Not sure I would use Expedia again to look for hotels on Long Island.

Dear Nancy,Thank you for staying with us for a weekend. Your rate per night was 299, sales and occupancy taxes are assessed as per the law. When guests are out exploring the beaches, trails, lawn etc. yes dirt will be brought back to the tile floors. The second day you requested a fresh mat and we offered service to your room which you declined. Not once did you express that your room was unsatisfactory. Thank you for your kind words about the staff, we work very hard to accommodate the most demanding guest and make every stay as pleasant as possible.Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend which can put a damper on anyone's expectations going to the beach.Regards

The room was good and as expected. Rachel was very attentive and interested in making sure our stay was happy. Location was great, and pool was nice. I would stay there again.

It was ok. I left the tag for maid service but none was given. The staff asked if we needed anything and we told her towels. We had towel service but the bed wasn’t made up. This was a pretty expensive room and a good price for the Hamptons but we found nicer rooms for the same price.

Not how you imagine the Hamptons to be
Unfortunately our stay was not so successful, because the bed, which is announced as a double bed in a cottage, was a fullsize bed (much too small for two and an imposition for a person with the size 6'4''). The rooms are very sparsely furnished. In the kitchen you will find only the bare necessities, worn pans, pots with wobbly handles, used sponges (a no go) and no dryer sheets. The stove was very dirty and rusted, as was the refrigerator and the heater in the bathroom. Unfortunately the entire floor was totally filthy, if you wiped a piece with a tissue it was black. The bathroom floor was full of hair. But the location of the accommodation is nice and also the pool is very well maintained, that would be desirable for the rooms. In this case too expensive and not a nice stay :(((

The best thing about staying at the Baywatch is the pool and the area around the pool. The rooms are in need of upgrade, especially the shower and the noisy AC. The tile floors in the room weren't clean.

Die Anlage ist aussen gepflegt. Swimmingpool in gutem Zustand. Zimmereinrichtung ist alt und braucht einen Update. Klimaanlage tönt wie ein alter Lastwagen und muss ausgetauscht werden. Keine Vorhänge im Zimmer, nur Jalousien mit dem Resultat, dass bereits Morgens um 5:30 das Zimmer hell ist.

The Best place to stay in the Hamptons
This place is wonderful!! Rebecca is amazing. Can't wait to stay there again. We had Queen cottage #1. Plenty of room for 3 fun loving ladies. Grills and little sitting patio at each cottage and others available throughout the grounds. Gated pool area great with plenty of lounging room. Nice area in marina end to sit and look at amazing sunsets. Walking distance to some restaurants and Bars. The food truck on site has great breakfast and lunch items (homemade Greek items, yummy!!) This place is central to all things Hamptons! This place is an excellent value, clean and friendly staff.

Our only suggestion for improvement is: Put a table or floor lamp in the living room, as the bright overhead light is not always what one wants when relaxing in the living room. Also, some coat hooks by the entrance door would be helpful. Otherwise, we were impressed!

Einfach ausgestattetes Motel, das mMn überteuert ist. Der Pool ist in Wirklichkeit nicht so attraktiv, wie es auf dem Foto scheint. Die Betreiber sitzen den ganzen Tag rauchend vor ihrer Tür, was etwas asozial wirkt. Gute Lage.

Hidden Gem in Hampton Bays
Our first visit to this area, so we were not quite sure what to expect. The Baywatch is tucked between some marinas but is easy to find. The location is good, you can walk to the beach (about a mile) and there are some restaurants within walking distance, but since we visited in October, most were closed. Check in was great, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed in the deluxe king suite. The space was very nice and roomy with a love seat and a small kitchen table and chairs, also a range, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Only a few basic kitchen utensils and plates and cups. Good for reheating some leftovers, not for full on cooking. Our unit was very clean and modern, even though the outside looks a bit dated. We did not use the pool due to the weather, cloudy, cool, and windy. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we visit the Hamptons again.

We stayed in the Queen cottage for 2 nights in early October. Cottage had everything, just the minimum of it though. Cottage was a big room with a small love seat, tiny table and 2 chairs pushed against the walls, as shown in the photos. Nothing fancy or that you would want to hang out in. We were 3 of us so the 2 queen beds were fine. There were 2 towels, although they brought us a bunch more towels very quickly. It was all very clean. We used the AC and the heat on this weekend! The outdoor area was set up with picnic tables, grills, chair groupings and a hammock, and with the tiki torches at night it was a great place to hang out. There is a marina at the end of the driveway, and you can hear the music from the local places across the water. We enjoyed it! There are a couple of places to eat within easy walking distance, and we did see other guests coming back with their leftovers, although we did not visit these places while we were there. The proximity to the ocean beaches, just over the Shinnecock Bay, is fantastic! The pool was open while we were there, and the weather was warm enough to use it, even in October. It looked very inviting. This is a nice little enclave tucked away with access to lots of the great things the east end has to offer, including the wineries, Hamptons, Sag Harbor, Riverhead, bay and beaches.
