Where do I begin? After being checked in by the hotel guest clerk, my girlfriend and me had entered our designated room and were immediately displeased, not to mention disgusted. The room smelled of mold from the carpet. My girlfriend has a strong sense of smell and it’s abundantly clear that these carpets hadn’t been changed in ages and suffered some water damage. My girlfriend and me decided to contact the hotel clerk to get us moved to a different room. She was very nice and accommodating I have to say. We were shown several other rooms by her before picking one to stay in as other ones we looked at smelled of mold as well. Once we settled in the room we chose, we had asked to speak with a manager but learned he wasn’t on duty until the next day. Very frustrating to say the least. This hotel franchise is out of their mind for making a room like ours nearly $400. That’s theft and should be illegal because the going rate even for a weekend should be no more than $50-$100 per night, especially at this substandard establishment. I only booked this place because there was no other availabilities in the area. Will never stay here again. You also better not try to hide my review either otherwise I’ll contact corporate and go above all of your heads to ensure it gets seen by others. Just make improvements, it’s as simple as that.
