No air conditioning the room was too hit mo windows that we can open' the mini refrigerator wasn't working' the receptionist service was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place

Property needs a major overhaul - furniture was dirty and in need of repair- sheets and towels were clean - hotel was quiet.

Did not get the handicap room that was requested. Condition of room extremely shabby, missing light bulb, missing phone in bathroom in one room and shower head rusty. Will not be back

Last minute booking, glad I did choose this hotel!
From the moment I walked in the service was first class. I was greeted bt the friendliest front desk and check in was quick. I was in my room within 5min. The room was nice considering the star ratings. I have stayed at more expensive and higher star ratungbhotels and the rooms were not as nice. Yes their could be some updates, but for price, location, comfort and service I will indefinitely stay here again.

Convenient and cozy
Overnight stay for a wedding. Quick shuttle service from JFK - arrived for me in 15 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff. Allowed me to check in super early. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable room, spacious. Ok breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet. Clean. Very comfortable. id stay here again! Carpet was stained in some areas of the hotel but others pretty new-looking property.

Owner of this hotel should be ashamed
This is an old hotel that has not been kept up. The carpet in the hallways are stained and woren. The upholstered furniture in the main lobby and lounge area are woren and dirty. Our room was marginal. Furniture is old, worn and dirty. Bathroom, again, old and not well kept...wallpaper falling off, walls were dirty. Shower, toilet and sink were clean. Bed linens were clean. Bed was comfortable. There is pattern to this hotel that shows a lack of pride in ownership! I was embarrassed to be staying here but I knew what I was getting into because I read the reviews. I was hoping that it wasn't as bad as the reviews made it out to be but it was. We made the best of it and was able to find humor in it. The staff was pleasant and attentive to our requests for extra pillows and bath towels.

Stains on floors, signs of liquid exposure throughout third floor (where we stayed). Shower / tub were not thoroughly cleaned (there were stray hairs from previous guest). On the positive side, late night check in was accommodating and our request for a king Bed was granted (we booked a standard room, which was not guaranteed to be a king).

This used to be our go-to place when on Long Island. This will be our last stay; for the first time I noticed the aging interior. Perhaps we got a bum room but it still should have been kept up. The PROS: Candy & apples at front desk. Free shuttle to the subway. AC functioned OK. The CONS: Old style TV, poor reception, guide unreadable. Took up way too much room on dresser of which there was very little. No full-length mirror. Lighting around the room but none in the right places, room still dim. One dresser drawer only pulled out 1/2 way. Another drawer pull broken off. Bath drain plug did not work so hard to wash hand-washables. Bath counter soaked with water every time the faucet was used, & was way too small. Bath fan worked but did nothing, mirrors all steamed up. One night had cockroach in the bathroom. Found previous occupant's cracker crumb on carpet next to bed, otherwise very clean. One bed had a sag area, pillow not that comfortable. No pen or paper provided. Breakfast used to be better, worst we've had after 2 weeks of hotels, only one good thing, genuine NY bagels, delicious. Scrambled eggs had hard spots from sitting around. Sorry RCI, it was a good run for us but the hotel is in serious need of updating, with shabby wood on trims & bottom of bath door peeling off & damaged, peeling wallpaper, restrooms by breakfast area had broken toilet paper holders. just not appealing anymore.

Location was great for us.The staff was very friendly and the woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was great but needed a little upkeep.But over all we were very satisfied. The continental breakfast was very nice.Thank you

Definitely not worth the price, but I guess because it's in NY everything is overpriced. For the prices they charge they could clean up the place a bit. The staff was nice tho.

Our 2 days at the inn.
The room was OK. The tv is very old and not very clear.. The place could use a renovation. The breakfast was adequate.

A hotel that made you feel not welcome & depressed
Dingy hotel, bedsheet had strings of hair. Obviously, bed sheet wasn't changed. Musty, mildewy smell throughout hallway and inside the room. Front desk wasn't friendly nor rude but they didn't seem to care. Won't stay again.
