Bad front desk
The hotel was fine, but the front desk was terrible. I paid ahead through Hotels APP, but the front desk lady wanted to charge me again, deposit + room charge. I told her that I paid already and she should be able to see that on her side. However she said something really rude. Too bad experience.

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. However, for longer stays the laundry situation was chaotic and created a negative mindset for longer term customers. I also find the property front desk created concern related to "will my room be cleaned today or not" conflicting information from the front desk varied from "Yes it will" to "No, you had it cleaned yesterday but we now won't clean it for 3 days". Completely contradicts the Expedia website and my impression was no one on the front desk cared what Expedia communicated. I would not stay here again due to these issues unless it was an overnight stay

Not worth the money
The room was small and looking over courtyard , asked to change and no go even during the week. Very disappointed in hotel. Area was ok. Had to add a night and that wasnt an easy process either.

Thank you for review. All of rooms are mostly the same square footage except for our 11 Executive rooms which much larger. These are in high demand and sell fast. Extending when booked with Marriott can be done over the phone and is quite simple since it is in house. If you choose to book with Expedia or a 3rd. party, you will need book a new reservation with them. I hope you have a chance to stay with us in the future.

I was not able to access my room that I already pre-paid for. The Marriott at this location did not do all there efforts to make sure there customers are satisfied. I booked my room through a third party, and the third party and Marriott forgot to mention that a “valid” debit card (not chime… not cash app… not Apple Pay) needs to be valid in order to hold a 50 dollar security fee. Might I mention I’m paying 300 for one night already. I’m just so disappointed in the customer service this Marriott did not provide. So now the room I booked three days in advance; already passing my free cancellation time was refused to me.

Thank you for you feedback. Yes, Marriott does require a major credit card or bank card. Pre-loadable cards are not compatible with our merchant services. Every hotel will require a security deposit per night on top of you nightly rate. Fees will very per per property.

If you want a good night's sleep, don't stay here!
This is your basic Courtyard, although the lobby is very nice and set up well for lounging. They have a tiny bar and an even tinier marketplace, so bring your own. However, there is a Trader Joes next door, and we grabbed food there and ate it back at the hotel. The biggest problem was the lack of sleep! It's RIGHT on Ventura Blvd, so the road noise is very loud. Be sure to ask for a room towards the back of the hotel (wish I would have known this). Also, the air conditioning makes an awful racket, stopping and starting, and then screeching. We basically didn't sleep at all. There are lots of other options nearby to choose from. Oh, and they charge you $20 to park in their lot...
