Had an amazing time at the Malibu Beach Inn for a quick overnight get away. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, the inn itself is breath taking, and you can't beat the location right on the beach. Within steps of the pier and able to do last minute local activities. The only downfall is not having more time.

The location of this hotel was fantastic! My husband and I enjoyed the room and all the amenities. Definitely coming back as it was everything we had hoped for!

絶景のレストランがあります。
部屋からのオーシャンフロントの景色は絶景です。マリブらしい力強い波の音が朝晩聞こえていて、波の強さを部屋にいても感じて自然と一体化するイメージです。ホテル自体は思っていたよりも小さい作りです。フロントやエントランスもさっぱりとした作りで、値段の割には安っぽく感じてしまうかもしれません。お風呂にバスタブがないのもマイナス点です。シャワールームのみなので子連れにはとても使いにくいです。３泊しましたが、そのうち一回はアメニティが何も置いていなく、電話をして持ってきていただきました。スタッフの対応や雰囲気はとても良いです。そして、このホテルのレストランは必ず行くべきです。絶景の中、オーガニック料理を食べられます。そして、マリブはとても良い場所です。

Pros outweigh Cons
This place is so random in terms of service. My husband and I have been coming here for years, and overall the pros outweigh the cons. Yes staff can be needlessly snobby, but the very same staff can be friendly and helpful on a different day. Why? Beats me! The service is inconsistent, but the oceanfront rooms can’t be beat. The beds are nice and have great Frette sheets, nice quality towels and robes and slippers. Mediocre toiletries but we bring our own. The restaurant and room service are also inconsistent quality: the same dishes we always order are great one night and just mediocre or worse another. Is it expensive? Obviously, but that’s Malibu.There is no other hotel in Malibu that goes directly out onto the beach besides Nobu(which is even more expensive and has obnoxious club music blasting on the weekends). These two hotels pretty much have a monopoly and thus prices stay astronomically high. Because this stretch of Malibu is so safe, lots of folks come here with their very loud children. There are no private beaches in the state of California by law, (see: California Coastal Act) any claims of a private beach are false, therefore the loud screams of children frolicking on the “private” Carbon Beach right below your beautiful ocean view room will continue indefinitely.TL;DR: Beware randomly snobby staff, hit or miss food, indifferent service, screaming children on the beach, stay for gorgeous views and relaxing rooms.

Even better than pictures online! Exceptional staff, location, beachfront.. I can not recommend enough! Wonderful for families as well as romantic getaways! The only reason I scui'll come back to CA but next time I want to bring my husband vs. my son. I fell in love with the privacy, hospitality, location, views and beaches.

Wow! The absolute best customer service! The staff was amazing and so accommodating! They really know how to take care of their guests and make you feel special! The hotel was very clean and right on the beach. You can dine on patio as you look out on the water. The room was beautiful, great bed, great shower and nice pull out bed for more people. Private patio is perfect for morning coffee or late night star gazing. Valet parking is the only option to park at hotel but worth it! You will not be disappointed with this beachfront hotel! I highly recommend it.

Great property, poor front desk service.
Have stayed multiple times in the last 2 years. Valet, restaurant, housekeeping staff were excellent. The front desk staff, at both check in and check out, were extremely disappointing — they seemed indifferent and uninterested in helping us, and were unaware that we were frequent returning guests. I’m still waiting for my final bill to be emailed to me as promised. The Malibu Beach Inn is an outstanding property, but the poor front desk service is unacceptable. Not sure we’ll be back again.

I had stayed here when it first opened. Loved it then and still do! Deluxe accommodations in a great location. Staff bends over backwards. We also had the best deep tissue massages of our lives there

Malibu Beach Inn, ett fantastiskt hotell
Vi hade en helt fantastiskt vistelse på Malibu Beach Inn. Varje detalj satt på sin plats. Rummet var stort även om vi inte hade ocean front utsikt så hade vi ändå havsutsikt mot piren, såg delfiner och sälar simma förbi. Servicen var ovanligt hög även för att vara i USA, men inte alls påträngande. Måste oxå rekommendera restaurangen som serverade supergod mat & dryck. Frukosten var fantastisk! Hotellvistelsen kändes både lyxig och laidback även om kombinationen kankse låter konstig. Vill verkligen tillbaka till detta hotell! Mvh Charlotte, reste med man och två barn ( 5 & 7 år ) från Sverige

Great stay - beautiful location on the beach. Updated rooms. Engaging staff and excellent bar tender (thanks Matt). Too short of a visit but enjoyed our evening.
