시끄럽고 슬럼가에 있는 비싼 호텔
밤에 너무 시끄럽습니다 루프탑은 클럽인데 발을 쿵쿵굴러서 잠을 잘수없습니다. 파킹은 발렛파킹만 가능한데 55불/ night 입니다. 게다가 리조트피로 27.5불/ night을 따로 받습니다. 직원들은 전체적으로 나이스합니다. 주변에 노숙자들이 많아서 위협이됩니다. 가격에 비해 상당히 불만족스러운 호텔로 주변에 절대권하고 싶지 않습니다

방음이 잘 안되었던 점 빼고 방 컨디션은 괜찮았어요 다만 어매너티는 별로니 꼭 자기꺼 챙겨가시면 좋을것 같아요 스탭들이 친절해서 좋아요 :)

프론트직원분 친절하고 1층에 Bar 및 루프탑에 Bar가 이 지역에서 이 호텔이 가장 핫한듯, 숙박인원이 아니어도 와서 즐기는 분위기, 대신 거의 현지인들이 많아 약간 불안, 건물 옆은 공사중으로 아침부터 소음, 시설은 괜찮음

귀엽고 신나는 호텔
객실은 굉장히 깨끗하고 귀엽다. 생수와 칫솔이 제공되지 않기 때문에 별도로 준비해야 한다. 금요일 저녁부터 밤 늦게까지 1층 바와 루프탑은 굉장히 즐겁고 덕분에 혼잡하다. 객실로 소음이 들어와 시끄러우나 귀마개가 제공된다. 할리우드 대로 바로 옆이라 관광객에게 좋은 위치다. 루프탑에서 보이는 전망이 굉장히 좋다. 할리우드 사인도 보인다. 걸어서 5~7분 정도 걸리는 거리에 있는 공용 주차장에 주차를 할 수 있다. 주차 비용은 별도 청구되며 발렛 주차와 셀프 주차에 비용 차이가 있다. 직원들은 굉장히 친근하고 친절하다. 리셉션 데스트에 문서 출력을 요청할 수 있다. 출력을 원하는 문서를 메일로 보내면 되며, 별도의 비용은 들지 않았다. 전반적으로 굉장히 신나는 호텔이다. 조용한 숙박을 원하는 사람에게는 추천하지 않으나 재미를 찾는 사람에게는 강하게 권하고 싶다.

My husband and I stayed at Mama Shelter for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. From check-in to check-out, the staff were lovely and went above and beyond, they even gave us some drink vouchers for the rooftop to celebrate our wedding! They were very accommodating and the room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside was that the rooftop was quite noisy which you could hear in the room, and the surrounding areas felt a bit unsafe. But, it is super close to main LA attractions, shopping areas and the overall vibe of the hotel is amazing. Great for a younger crowd, I'd definitely book here again for a short stay.

There was a ton of people there. Which made sense since it was a Saturday, but we couldn't even enjoy the rooftop bar. There were SO many non-guest there. We could hear noise from the rooftop on the 3rd floor but it wasn't SUPER loud. The food in the restaurant on the first floor was really really good.

Love the look and feel of the hotel however my room was on the street side and really loud music from the rooftop, you feel every beat until late so get ready for it. Breakfast options are delicious . My only issue really, was the noise level.

There was a fire detector in the middle of our room. I noticed that there was a red light that turned on flashing like a camera turning on in the middle of the night. We didn't feel safe and felt like the room was being watched.

If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The music and activity from the rooftop (think DJ set and heavy bass) reverberates throughout the hotel until 1:30am or later. We stayed on both the 5th and 3rd floors, and the volume was about the same. The staff are super friendly and kind, and the place has a cool vibe. I just prefer to go out if I want to party, not have the party where I’m wanting to sleep.

The hotel has a pretty cool design and the whole staff is incredibly kind. It stays between Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset, two busy streets, and about 5-10min walk to the red line subway station. There is a bar close to the lobby and in the rooftop, so loud music is expected and we were aware of this matter when we booked. Fortunatetly, at the end of the day we were so tired that we couldn't be bored with the noise. The two elevators were out of service one day, which made us take the stairs, and then just one of them worked thoughout the last days of our stay. Because area gets busy almost every day, we felt safe to walk in the night, but there is some homeless people a few blocks away from the hotel. We got free coffee in the morning, and the basic bathroom ammenities had to be requested at front desk. Overall, we had a great time, the location is good for tourists, the hotel is very comfy, but be aware that there is signifcant noise at night.

Was the most terrible hotel experience I have had in a while. The noise never stopped until 3 to 4 AM every morning. The hotel told us it was from the nearby restaurants and would stop at around 11 PM but it was right from the hotel bar. I barely fell asleep for the entire night. Horrible. If you value and prioritize your sleep quality over heavy parties, don't live here.

The best part of Mama's is the kind way everyone was treated. They have superior customer service and we felt right at home. They have great Happy Hours and a cool rooftop restaurant/food area. We received vouchers for 2 people to have a fantastic breakfast free EVERY morning. As an FYI if you have problems sleeping, Mama Shelter has live music nearly every night and we could hear the thumping. It didn't bother me though.

The Hotel is amazing and the staff is outstanding, always grreting you with a smile and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean, I would definitely choose again mama Shelter. The neighborwood was a little bit scary, expecially near a park not far away from the Hotel.

It's a fun hotel with very quirky rooms, and friendly staff. The rooftop patio is a great hangout spot. Unfortunately, the noise from that rooftop patio is not ideal if you have to wake up early so I suggest staying up late and enjoying the festivities.

最寄りのメトロ駅からは重い荷物を持っているとやや遠く感じましたが、15分ほどで歩いて行ける距離です。周辺は観光スポットが多く便利です。口コミを見てクラブの音漏れが心配でしたが、5階だったからか非常に静かでした。 早く着きましたが荷物を預かってくれ、フロントスタッフも非常に親切でした。私は英語がほとんど話せませんが、スマホの翻訳機能を使って説明をしてくれたので安心でした。 部屋は綺麗で広く、大きなスーツケース2つを広げても十分余裕がありました。ベッドもキングサイズでゆったりと寝ることができました。 冷蔵庫、ドライヤー、ハンガーなど必要なものは揃っていて、バスルームもとても綺麗でした。 シャワーの水圧は海外仕様でとても弱いですが、手に持って使えるシャワーがついていたのでとても使いやすく嬉しかったです。バスタブはなく、トイレとの間はガラス戸で仕切るタイプでした。 朝7時くらいの早い時間にアプリでUberを呼びましたがすぐ来てくれました。 総じてとても満足しています！

Food & hotel service along with valet was awesome :) Thank you. The only downside were the restroom…the water pressure is very low when you take a shower & adjusting the water from cold to warm takes some time, overall great experience.

From start to finish the staff made us feel welcome and safe. We met quit a few staff members during our week stay and all were very kind and helpful to us during our week long stay. Really clean and cool room and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was clean and the room was nice. But it was so noisy at all times. You could hear employees in the morning through the vents and then loud music at night. I wouldn't stay here again, which is a shame because if they focused on improving the noise issue and didn't brush it off as "part of the experience" (there are tons of reviews I should have seen beforehand on google about it being too noisy and they brush it off each time) it would be a really cool hotel. They're literally obsessed with the roof top bar and bringing in djs and don't care about the hotel aspect.

Our room was perfect for our stay, and the building felt extremely safe and kind. We had some issues checking in but the girls at the front desk were extremely helpful and worked with us to make sure we got in. Every time we arrived at the hotel throughout our stay we were greeted and welcomed at the door. Any issues we had whatsoever were immediately fixed by the staff, and we honestly had an amazing time here. The noise complaints from other reviews had us a little worried, but after spending a week here, we had no issues whatsoever. It was exactly the noise level you could expect from an apartment downtown, with muffled voices or sirens, but nothing that would interrupt our sleep or our stay.

I love all Accor properties- this hotel was clean however quite unusual. The dj was playing music in the lobby and the music was quite loud. Had difficulty conversing with the staff. Then they had no umbrellas to offer staff, rooftop was closed due to the rain, dining options were limited with Asian inspired restaurant and the room has no lotion so had to request. They also had no universal charger - considering the hotel brand - I expected more. Very clean and comfortable room. But done expect excellence - may be I am asking for too much.
