The hotel has a pretty cool design and the whole staff is incredibly kind. It stays between Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset, two busy streets, and about 5-10min walk to the red line subway station. There is a bar close to the lobby and in the rooftop, so loud music is expected and we were aware of this matter when we booked. Fortunatetly, at the end of the day we were so tired that we couldn't be bored with the noise. The two elevators were out of service one day, which made us take the stairs, and then just one of them worked thoughout the last days of our stay.
Because area gets busy almost every day, we felt safe to walk in the night, but there is some homeless people a few blocks away from the hotel.
We got free coffee in the morning, and the basic bathroom ammenities had to be requested at front desk.
Overall, we had a great time, the location is good for tourists, the hotel is very comfy, but be aware that there is signifcant noise at night.
