일단 익스피디아에 항의및 환불 조치 합니다 1.주소 잘못 개시함 게시된주소 1617cosmo. St. ->수정주소 1631cosmoSt 한국 전화해도 설연휴고 첫 LA밤에 아주 죽을뻔 했습니다 손해배상청구합니다 2. LA 한복판에서 여자 혼자 그나마 5시 밝을때 찾아 갔는데 알려준 잘못된 주소로 갔더니 수십명 사는 엄청 큰 오피스텔인거에요 호수누락인줄 일았더니 잘못된 주소더라구요 3. 엄청지저분하고 (부억이 있는데 씽크대에 걸래가 막 딩굴러 다니고 컴컴하고 물은 싱크대 위에 가득) 이런곳에서 음식을 해먹으라고 해서 닦아주고 옴. 흑인들 2-3명 죽치고 있는데 그들이 계속 밤에 들락날락 거리고 나중엔 간이 침대 3개 깔고 자더라구요 ( 장기숙박돠 단기숙박을 같이 잡는듯) 4. 가장 충격은 개인 핸드폰에 우리 여권을 찍어서 저장해요 전 이부분이 가장 기가 막혀서 따졌어요 무슨 일 있을때 이용한다는데 개인이 (직원)개인 여권을 저장한다는게 말이 되나요 지우는 것도 아니고 . 미국은 이렇다는데 전 진짜 이해가 안가네요 6만 5천원+ 개인정보= LA 개떡 같은 곳에 1박을 바꾼거네여. 싫음 가라는데 6시 넘은 어두운 상황에사 움직일 수가 없었습니다 5. 익스피디아에 전화했더니 설 휴일이더군요 익스피디아에 환불및 손해배상 청구합니다

The place itself is okay, but their code to open the place up didn't work (I didn't get it wrong, I had the correct code), so with it being 4AM and no one being around to help, I had to sleep in my car. This was a two day trip, this happened on the first day. I didn't expect to get a refund for that night but for the night after too where I told them I won't be returning? BS

La atención del staff fue excelente, la limpieza y el ambiente fueron muy buenos. Lo único que no era muy bueno era que se tienen varios ventiladores encendidos todo el tiempo, lo que no ayuda a conciliar el sueño.

Property is tucked inside, off main streets. super low-key. It is part of condo building on its own street, was surprisingly quiet in the middle of Hollywood. A block in either direction has food/ shopping/ studios. Main doors were left open to let light and fresh spring air. Seemed safe, as no strange or homeless people seemed to walk on Cosmo street, clean street, security for buildings across street usually comes out. Warning; it is an open loft, hostel. Not hostel w/ rooms and beds. Like a studio apartment w/ a few neatly arranged beds surrounding a kitchen table. Everyone was super quiet, kept to themselves. But this place is definitely vibes for the aspiring person looking into living in LA. Sidenote: management could up training on receiving guest and extra care on general cleanliness. but overall not disgusting or dirty feeling, just felt lived in w guest coming in and out. Pod Bed was comfortable, firm, clean, but kept hitting head on ceiling and the clothes rack kinda useful but also dangerous. Cool they had urinal, but also not sure why a cabinet was in way. Anyways. Freehand has a great lobby to hang and do work and go back to bed. But Podshare Hollywood room is more livable. Wanted to try Podshare Venice to get the vibes of LA, but next time.

Not bad
Not a bad stay if you are used to communal living. There is no privacy at all, and might be long waits for the bathroom at night. Would not recommend for solo female travelers, otherwise an okay accommodation if you are prepared for the experience! Place is clean and liveable, everyone is fairly considerate and keeps the volume down after hours.

Parking is Horror. Riff Raff tries to enter sometimes. Great Staff. Good Pod concept. Kitchen could need new pans. Sometimes the room heats up too much.

Good Comcept of the Pods. Very good staff here. But: Riff Raff likes to come in sometimes. The room overheats at might, because the climate system has a problem. A window you could open would help in cool nights. This is no rocket science. Only one bathroom. No morning coffe or breakfast like in other hostels. Kitchen equipment could need an update. No papertowels in kitchen.

Top Lage, nette Leute, aber nicht so sauber
Die Lage ist wirklich gut, um vieles in Hollywood fußläufig zu erkunden. Die Metro Station war auch nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Ab 22 Uhr ist Bettruhe und ich habe selten ein Hostel erlebt, in dem es wirklich so schön ruhig ist und sich alle daran halten. Internet ist gut. Die Sauberkeit lässt allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten einige Kakerlaken bzw. Ungeziefer z. B. In der Küche. Küchen Handtücher lohnen sich nicht mehr zu waschen, die sollte man direkt entsorgen. Kühlschrank müsste einmal grundgereinigt werden, denn die ganzen Gummilippen sind schwarz vom Schimmel

Nice place and nice staff
Convenient place for sightseeing and clean bed. We can use bath towels for free. They minimize the maximum customer because of covid, so it was not so problem to sleep with people in the same room. And the staff was very nice!!

El lugar es raro. Primero no tiene ni un cartel, por lo q es dificil de encontrar. No tiene recepcion, asi que si llegas temprano y no esta la encargada, no puedes ni entrar a dejar las cosas. Para conseguir el codigo tienes q llamar (dificil si no tienes linea local). Cuando logras llamar, una contestadora dice q tienes q enviar un mensaje, el cual nunca respondieron. Me toco esperar HORAS en la calle esperando a q llegue la encargada, y cuando le comente la situacion, esquivo el tema. Ya adentro, es un ambiente grande con muchas camas y cocina integrada. En mi caso compartimos una cama entre 2, aunque el precio fue casi el mismo que si nos hubiesen dado 2 camas. Hay un solo baño para AL MENOS 9-10 personas. Siempre hay alguien durmiendo y el ambiente es MUY silencioso, por lo que el uso tanto de la cocina como de las "zonas comunes" (una mesa entre las camas) es incomodo. Mas q un hostel es un departamento compartido, casi toda la gente vive ahi. Me parecio caro para lo que ofrece y es MUY INCOMODO para reservas de ultimo momento y si no tienes linea local. Encontrar un telefono en la zona es imposible. Lo unico bueno es la ubicacion, cerca del paseo de la fama. No volveria.

worth the price,
Overall, it was a cool experience, My wife and I enjoyed the the experience, met great people. only down fall for me is lack of air conditioning/cooling system, was a hot night. if we could have extended, my wife and I would have done so. hopefully others are welcomed and enjoy it like my wife and i. Close to hollywood blvd, WIFI accessible, lock panel to door, It wasnt the cleanest, but it was not matter to us. bring a fan!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first experience at a hostel. Other guests were quiet and friendly. It's around the corner from the walk of fame but the area is sketchy. Farmer's market on Sunday helped me put up with the craziness around :)

No service at all!!!
The confirmation email did not give us where our room would be. We also didn’t get a code to get in so we never got to our room. We waited on a called back after waiting 1 hour and 30 mins to get confirmation. We never got the call back or got in the room so we are sleeping in our car until our flight arrives at 6 in the morning! I’m not satisfied with this service and I would like a refund!

The Cosmos Street Podshare is not as it appears on the website. Located on an alley type street. People smoking crack and pot outside. Space is communal(which we were fine with), but is filthy, reminded me of a college dorm that is occupied by hoarders. Bags of "stuff", clothing, dishes, toys..covering every floor, stair and table surface. Glass pipe (pot or crack) was lying out on a bed. Only available bed was on top of the "sound room" , approx 10 " up a wall via metal pipes, no rails or safety in place for that sleeping space. Only "safe" is a set of purse size lockers with no locks. Locks for sale at $3 each. Saw no space for our suitcase. Staff person was nice, said it was only bed and could move us to another Podshare a few blocks away. We left and did not return.

We are very sorry that you did not like the accommodations, It is a shared space, and beds are available on a first come first serve basis. While we have no control over the people of Hollywood outside our property we can assure you there would be no crack pipes in our premises, but keep in mind pod is completely legal in California. We at no point advertise safes, but we do have lockers which are a safe place for you to store your valuables, and a very safe location which is why suitcases are stored under the pods or shelf in the back. We understand that co-living isn't for everyone but are still sorry you did not enjoy your experience, or even give it a chance as you left right away and did not arrive to the other location. Each of our locations have different vibes and spaces in order to accommodate the comfort zones of many different types.

Enjoyed the company of all the people in the area. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Great location for Hollywood as well.

So disappointed
Me and my friend arrived to the hostel, and first of all we found it very difficult to even find the front entrance. There is no name or anything to guide you, just so you are aware upon arrival. What we did not know and learned upon arrival was that the front door opens basically into someones bed. This was also open right on to the streets of LA. So basically everyone who wanted could wals in there. There is just one bathroom. And also the entire hostel reaked of weed when we arrived. We actually found this experience so decieving and not true to its description that we decided to book a new hotel right away. We did also not recieve the door-code before we arrived. Basically this hostel is just one big room so there is no possibility for privacy.

Hello Ingrid, We are sorry to hear this. Unfortunately you did not address any of this with onsite staff. You told our staff your friend got a fever and that you would be back the next day, so we did hold the bed for you for both days. We do make it clear it is a shared space and no-privacy is a big part of our policies to encourage open communication and a sense of safety. Our doors are only open during staffed hours and are closed any time our staff is not right there to greet anyone who comes in. We are sorry you didn't experience the sense of community this type of environment fosters, and hope in the future you will try talking to staff on site for any concerns.

It is a lousy place, it is a hoax and expensive. When we arrived at the place to rest we found several police patrols outside the place and several police officers inside the place. The worst part is that the people in charge of the administration and the owners gave us no explanation about what was happening .... nobody knew anything ... nobody wanted to talk. This place is not safe so we decided not to spend the night there. We asked for reimbursement and he was denied, his response was that the incident of the previous night and why we had to wait more than two hours was not sufficient reason to return the money. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Es un pésimo lugar, es un engaño y costoso. Cuando llegamos al lugar para descansar nos encontramos con varias patrullas de la policía afuera del lugar y varios agentes de policía a dentro del lugar. Lo peor es que las personas encargadas de la administración y los dueños no nos dieron explicación sobre lo que pasaba.... nadie sabía nada... nadie quería hablar. Este lugar no es seguro así que decidimos no pasar la noche ahí. Pedimos reembolso y nos fue negado, su respuesta fue que el incidente de la noche anterior y por la que tuvimos que esperar más de dos horas no era motivo suficiente para devolvernos el dinero. NO RECOMENDAMOS ESTE LUGAR
