We certainly understand allergies and unfortunately have to follow brand standard on the detergent that we use on our property. We do go through Eco lab which is a very big chain so I would suggest asking the front desk what detergent that use for their property on future stays to avoid having this issue in the future. Dear Lauren,We are terribly sorry that it seems your needs were not met on your previous stay at our hotel. I want you to know that making sure our guests our comfortable is our number one priority. Unfortunately upon your visit we were having a bit of a snow storm and it can cause issues with our outside door so I would reframe from locking your deadbolt on your inside door. I want you to know that we try and go over and beyond to let our guest know about the deposit. We list it on every website and even have an automated message sent to all of our Expedia guest to know about the deposit. We are terribly sorry that you had to find out at the counter. I can insure you that in no way is what we are trying to do and the deposit is fully refundable but still required.
