Not a 5-star Hotel
We have been to many 5 star hotels in our lives, but the FZeen is as disappointing as it could be for a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival at Noon, the room wasn't ready, which is fine and understandable. We therefore left for the day in order to enjoy the beach. As we came back at 6-7PM, we were shown our room, and boy was it disappointing. We took the 2nd most expensive room which was a private raw retreat with a pool. This was almost 1,000 euros a night. When we got into the room, the view was just a joke. We had a view over the gym's roof, and the parking of the hotel's staff. We therefore asked if there was anything else, and we were told no, the hotel is fully booked. We told them we were not satisfied with this, and it was unacceptable. We asked them "There is no one checking tomorrow?" we were told no. Before leaving, the girl, who honestly couldn't care less about us, told us we could get the "100" room, but it would be an upgrade. We told her we wouldn't be paying for an upgrade because what was sold to us was unacceptable. She then proceeded to tell us that the reservation office would call us first thing in the morning to see what could be done. As you would have guest, they never called, and we had to call them. Obviously, we had to repeat everything, which is unacceptable again for a 5-star hotel. We were told that a room could be available, which apparently was not possible the day before. Anyways, as we were not there, we told them that we couldn't see the room, a

Incredible experience. The superior raw retreat room was completely private, including its yard and pool. The team was very polite and helpful with any requests we had and stayed on top of offering us transportation/any other thing we may need. Petros from the reception was especially kind to us and made us feel very welcomed. The only thing not matching the excellence of the hotel was the food and drinks. Nothing on the menu was terrible, but it was not nearly as memorable as the experience/layout of the hotel.

Excellent choice. Exceeded our expectations. Suite and dining excellent. Had a great time. Hotel has a very good location. The only downside if we can mention one is that you cannot park on the property but across the street. Will definitely go back when we return to Kefalonia

This was our 3rd visit to the beautiful island of Kefalonia but our first of hopefully many more to this wonderful hotel … nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and everything was done with a smile .. the facilities were excellent and worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful holiday !

We took three rooms which were towards the end of the resort near the beach. Outside of the rooms had a slight smell of sewage. We complained but nothing was done. This must be a more complicated issue that they are aware of and cannot resolve. The room had air conditioning with a light indicating the temperature which was so large and bright that it kept us up at night. We attended the outside cinema and were excited to eat some popcorn to later hear that they had no more popcorn available - movie and no popcorn?? Finally their loyalty program which they promoted from the onset of our stay to use as a discount for the restaurants and boutique shop turned out to be useless. They initially said we could not use it because we had not booked directly with the hotel and instead through a 3rd party such as Expedia and then when we pushed them harder they said we did not reach the minimum of 10,000 points. They should have explained it better at the onset or just scrap this program entirely as it only frustrated me more when I would have been happy paying what I did not knowing of this supposed program.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, genuinely wanting guests to have a good experience. The food across both restaurants is excellent too. We had a suite with a private pool overlooking the sea. It was excellent. We would not hesitate to come back.

Incredible resort
The F Zeen lived up to my expectations, it was a super luxurious escape and all the staff were super helpful and friendly. (Special shout out to Petros for great local restaurant recommendations) The facilities were fantastic, superb gym and spa, great pools and beach service (although I stayed in a room with a private pool so spent most of the time there) Dinner was excellent but booked up quickly so if you want to eat in best to book in advance, when I couldn’t get a reservation the local choices were great too. Breakfast probably more on the standard side but no major complaints. (The wasps at breakfast can be relentless but you’re in nature so not much the hotel can do just be prepared!) Only thing I’d say is for a wellness/fitness resort I found the protein options lacking especially when it came to juices/ smoothies and the room service menu is basic with only salads and sides for food options (No main dishes) but overall great 4.5/5 stay for me. Would definitely go back

We'll be back....
Really loved this hotel, but its more appropriately described as a Retreat. Truly is a hotel that can transport you away from all the stresses of life. The staff, the accommodations, the grounds, the amenities, the food and drinks, and the daily activities all seem to share the same purpose and join forces to allow you to just let go...relax...and finally rejuvenate in every possible way to meet your mind and body's potential.

This resort is very pleasant but definitely not 5 star. The staff were rude at times and everything seemed an inconvenience to them. Our air con broke throughout the stay and they didn't care at all. I would not return.

Sheer bliss
Our stay at F Zeen was probably the most relaxing time we have ever had. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, this is one of the best. The relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made for a wonderful chill-out. The staff had the perfect balance of friendliness and attention. We can’t wait to go again.

So amazing, will 100% return next year and I never travel to the same place twice. The staff are all brilliant, and the yoga classes in the woods are so perfect.

Staff incredible. They were the highlight. Incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The property is spectacular- natural setting, overlooking the sea. Great activities on offer too for those who want to get fit. The one thing that was a let down was the food- i found it all v bland and muddled. Trying to be way too “trendy” (deconstructed everything/ adding flowers to every dish). It is such a waste because Greek/Med food is the best (and simplest) on Earth. Not everything has to be done with a “twist”. A la carte menu very limited. All in all though, a lovely stay.

Perfect retreat
Beautiful hotel, perfect to recharge for a couple of days! Ideal for couples. Quiet, and a bit secluded, but if you’re going there for a retreat it’s the perfect place! Great restaurant with beautiful view, highly recommend ordering the risotto! The staff is friendly and very helpful too. They have an outdoor cinema and daily activities to keep you entertained.

Wohlfühloase mit viel Charme!
Wir verbrachten hier einige Der schönsten Tage unserer Flitterwochen und waren rundum begeistert. Der Empfang war grossartig, die gesamte Anlage umwerfend schön designed und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick und Terrasse war wunderschön, so wie die gesamte Anlage mit Open Air Kino, Yoga und Fitness Kursen und einem tollen Spa. Es gibt mehrere Pools, einen direkten Zugang zum Meer und ein Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter lokaler Küche und fantastischem Meerblick. Die Betreuung war stets zuvorkommend und sehr herzlich. Unser Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt!

Super toll! Wunderschöne Anlage, hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, klasse Zimmer. Wir können nichts beanstanden und waren rum um zufrieden. Am meisten haben wir uns über die vielen Kleinigkeiten gefreut wie zum Beispiel vorbereitet Kleinigkeit zum Essen bei unserer Ankunft (kamen um 23:30 Uhr an), frisches Wasser am Pool und am Strand was einem gebracht wird, Anpassung des Programms im openair Kino und vieles mehr! Einfach toll!

F Zeen is stunning. The hotel itself is beautiful, the property, gardens and pool are clean and its in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed the luxury of the hotel during the days and wondered down to the pretty little traditional taverns in the evening. The dream combination!

Wunderschöne Anlage, tolles Kursangebot und das Personal vor allem im Gaia Restaurant sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Allerdings waren wir von dem superior retreat sehr enttäuscht. Erstmal liegt er oben auf einem Hügel, was nicht schlimm ist, da die Treppenstufen durch ein schattiges Waldstück führen, allerdings ist der Weg dorthin etwas vernachlässigt und nicht so gepflegt wie der Rest des Resorts. Zimmer 53 im Untergeschoss ist nicht zu empfehlen, der Blick vom Balkon geht hauptsächlich auf Bäume und einen sehr unschönen Strommast, der Meerblick geht hier total unter. Leider hat das Zimmer während unseres Aufenthaltes auch jede Nacht angefangen nach extrem ekelhaft nach Kloake zu stinken. Auch wenn der Geruch von außerhalb kam (wobei die Toilette auch tagsüber stark nach Abwasser gestunken hat) war es stets in unserem Zimmer. Wir wurden 3 Nächte in Folge durch diesen stechenden Geruch wach. In einem Hotel dieser Kategorie und diese Preisklasse erwarte ich so etwas nicht. Die Rezeption hat leider auch nicht weitergeholfen und trotz Verständnissvollen Blicken kam auch kein 'sorry' über die Lippen. Fazit : Anlage top! Zimmer (superior retreat, Nr. 53 total überteuert, für das was geboten wird.
