Hotel Katy, Is a well located hotel. The room was your typical European size. The bathroom was spacious and very clean . The AC needs to be turned on right away to get the temperature of the room down. Our room had a great size balcony. The Hotel is very well priced. David on the Rock

Service var utmärkt och frukost var mycket bra. Rummen små och kändes instängda. Närheten till stranden var positivt även om inte rummen förmedlade den känslan. Uppskattade lappen med förslag på restauranger som var bra.

Great little hotel - will return
Very nice hotel just of seafront. Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with balcony which had a sea view. Breakfast was great. Will definitely return.

Veramente un bellisimo ricordo sicuramente tornero oltre a tutti servizi offerti dal albergo ha una posizione eccellente vicinissimo alle spiagge e ha sua volta con tanti buoni ristoranti in un raggio non superior a 800 metri quindi siamo arrivati parcheggiato la macchina e non abbiamo avuto mai bisogno di utilizare fino al giorno della partenza

This my favourite hotel in Viareggio. This my third stay here. Hotel close to front and resturants, supermarket close by. Hotel is family owned and run, staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is exceptional, rooms clean and well maintained. Overall standard is high, well above what would be expected for 3 star hotel.

Comfortable and clean family hotel
Lovely family run hotel - great location for beach and 15 minute walk to train station. Very friendly and helpful staff - good continental breakfast included. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Viareggio.

La struttura è in una via laterale a meno di 50m dal Lungomare di Viareggio e quindi in una zona ben fornita da negozi e ristoranti, senza dimenticare la vicinanza degli stabilimenti balneari sul mare. I gestori ed il personale della struttura sono molto gentili e sanno dare tutte le informazioni e consigli per un ottimo soggiorno a Viareggio e dintorni. Stanze molto curate e sempre pulite. Nulla di negativo da segnale.

Positives: location is great, you are right by the main promenade, there is a park behind the hotel and small supermarket around the corner. Sea is 2 min walk. Hotel provides beach towels which you can change every 3 days. Most of the hotel staff are friendly and lovely. Negatives: hotel would benefit from some furniture update. My son was allocated a single bed which was an old blue sofa and looked a bit dirty, had to cover the back of it with a towel, the same goes for the chairs. Blood stain on the curtains and half of the dead mosquito spoil the view from the window. Breakfast was decent, always the same things , no parma or mozzarella, no olives or fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, however fruit was really nice and cakes change daily. Overall hotel reflects the price and would be fantastic with some investment into some new furniture. We won't be returning

Someone could steal them or guests could lose them - it happened in the past. That would be problem for us and for guests. My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Katy for 3 days during our trip to Italy. The staff was extremely warm and friendly, check in was easy and efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely unbeatable and they have a great relationship with stefano, the guy that runs beach Maurizio near the hotel and offer a special price for prime beach real estate. Breakfast was amazing and kept us full past lunch. Amazing stay, and we will be back!

4 days at Hotel Katy in mid-May
Hotel Katy was great - the staff were really friendly, the room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was great. The hotel is right by the beach, but tucked away off the main road so it's nice and quiet at night. Viareggio is beautiful and we knew that it would be out of season mid-May, but hadn't realised that so many of the shops, restaurants and beach clubs would be shut, so that's the only thing I would say to take into consideration when booking for this time of year. Despite this, we did manage to find different places to eat each day.

A wonderful location, just off the magnificent promenade. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Room very spacious, great shower in the bathroom. Bed comfortable. Helpful friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Only a few minutes walk to beach/shopping/restaurants. Similarly, only a few minutes walk to the park in opposite direction. No in room facilities for tea/coffee making. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent Hotel adjacent to Sun, Sea and Sand
All staff very friendly and helpful without exception. Within two minutes walking time to beach and restaurants etc. Small supermarket and ATM nearby. Superb breakfast with a fine array of fruits, ham, cheese and pastries, plus cooked egg and bacon in the hot box. Standard of cleanliness was was perfection. About fifteen minutes walk to rail station.

Everything was fine. I was expecting a better vibe and a more varied breakfast. Perhaps my expectations were too high was expecting more value for money. Friendly staff and great location.
