Quaint and quiet. Last minute stay so wasn't expecting much, but turned out to be a great little motel. Breakfast is prepared to order, very good.

Wonderful Ludington Inn
Would absolutely stay here again and have recommended Summers Inn to family and friends! Nicely renovated, friendly staff, clean, and beautiful koi pond.

Absolutely beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy a pond with fountains and Koi fish, shade trees, and beautiful plants. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was so friendly and helpful.

Our experience was similar to other ratings This is an old time motel that the owners have thoroughly updated. And added a sort of b and b breakfast that gives the hotel a little value added touch. Rooms size is ok. Ave size but again thoroughly updated and clean perfect for a 1/2 night stay. Kudos to these owners

This property is very unique. It has an up north feel. There is room for reading with books to borrow. There is a beautiful garden space in the back with chairs and pillows, a pong with koi fish and cute decorations and lights. The office is decorated beautiful and the way they offer and serve breakfast is wonderful. You pick a time and an entree and it's all homemade. They serve you.

Small rooms but very nice . Check in with Maryann was terrific. We spent 3 hours talking with her . We would to make the trip yearly and stay at Summers .

We've stayed here for years and keep coming back. The little nature preserve on site is a relaxing place to talk or read or eat. The breakfast and breakfast room is classy. And the management is great ... thank you Xavier, Lili, Jerika, and Ruby!

Just passing through and needed a place for the night. The room was large, very clean and quiet. Throwback to the old traveler’s inns but nicely updated. Would stay again.

Everyone who worked here was SO nice. It was a quiet place to stay and very welcoming. I loved the breakfasts in the morning - fresh and made at the time you come in.

Marcus checked us in and he was super friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed the quietness and the room was done up cute. Shower water pressure was awesome! The bed was fairly comfy. The only downside, for my husbands liking, was the air conditioning was subpar. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, friendly motel.
Our second time staying at Summers Inn. Pleasant staff, very clean rooms, hot breakfast option in the morning. Wonderful. We very much enjoy the koi pond and garden in back. Nice and peaceful. The hotel is close to everything in Ludington.

Disappointed
Room 12 toilet did not work. We had to move to room 11. Shower in room 12 was disgusting. Was standing in 3 inches of water as drain did not work. Will never stay there again. Plus even though we were not staying for breakfast and checked out at 4:30 am for an awesome fishing trip we had to pay extra for third person. They did provide two complimentary bottles of water.

This is a quirky little boutique motel that has been redone for today's traveler. I loved the koi pond and sitting area - was a great place to relax. Our a/c didn't work but we didn't need it so we were good. When we reported it the next day they said they were in the process of replacing the units and would look into it. Excellent service, enjoyed the personalized breakfast experience (had a reservation time and ordered ahead). Since it was a 21 or older property it was quiet and relaxing for the whole stay. Definitely a treasure find for us!

Great service from staff. Xavier is amazing! So friendly and made us feel so welcome! We had a very late check-in and there was no hassle in us accessing our room that late. I'd e-mailed them earlier about it and they responded same day. Impressed with high level of customer-service Lovely area for breakfast.
