I had to be changed to 5 different rooms because the housekeepers do not change the sheets. But the lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful she didn’t give me a hard time at all. She made it worth staying. Housekeepers are lazy.

I rented this as a cheap place to sleep between days of driving . It was that. It was well cleaned, had a microwave and minifridge. A new tile wall in the bathroom that was so bad i told the clerk that i hoped they hadn't paid the person. Mortar and grout all over the tiles. It did NOT have: Kleenex in the holder Water glasses Ice ("the machine is broken") looked like it had been so for months at least Like i said it was a cheap place to sleep

Rooms are very outdated, no towels, no trash can in the room, no remote for the tv lights, outlets, & heating and air in the room did not work, bad plumbing, rust in the water, VERY rude & unprofessional front desk staff.

Didn't like anything. Property dirty. Rooms filthy. Tv Didn't work. One towel for three people. No toilet paper. Paint peeling off all the walls. Water never got hot. Bathroom tiles were 6 different colors and patched up horribly. Never again!!! If we hadn't driven 10 hours we would of tried to find somewhere else. Pictures online are not accurate at all!!! Stay away!!!

This room was disgusting, booked a king was told they only have two doubles. When I finally got to the room which was “non-smoking” the stench hit your face as soon as the door opened of smoke. One bed didn’t even have pillows, all furniture was missing pieces, not clean, burn marks, body fluids, mold, and stench. At check in I was told that my credit card was declined and that I would have to pay to be able to get a room. This room is booked with Expedia and the transaction had already confirmed and gone through on my end. It took 45 minutes at 1 o’clock in the morning to finally get me a room key, so then having to walk into what I just explained, was not the most pleasant circumstances. If it weren’t for why I had to travel and stay at this location, I would not have chosen this ever or recommended it to anyone

The room was horrible. Smelled of smoke. Cigarette burn holes in the sheets, shower curtain was nasty. Bed springs groaned as we got in. Needed a remodel.. i would not stay here again. It was very dirty outside . The room was clean in the main areas but they dont clean to the corners. Cob webs in the ceiling corners.

Makes the Bates Motel look like 4 Seasons! No towels, toilet paper, soap, no WiFi. Pictures to prove all of the above. Switches in “the bathroom are easily from the 1960’s or possibly earlier. Slept with one eye open. I’m not exaggerating the night stand has a blood stain for god’s sake. I sent messages to friends and family to check on me if they don’t hear from me tomorrow morning. When I asked for towels and toilet paper and soap I had to go to the front desk to get it. Sad part is the woman behind the counter was nice. They don’t even have a phone to call in the room. Only 15 channels 2 without sound and no ESPN or local news channels. Easily the worst experience i have ever had!!! Will never stay here again!!!

Three of the four people in our family fell on the wet (from being mopped) tile floor that would not dry all night. Staff was wonderfully kind and we appreciate that the room was freshly cleaned. There was standing water on the corridor floor by the stairs. Absolute fall hazards and not the best quality property, but expected for the price.

The booking page says FREE TOILETRIES and FREE WIFI IN ROOMS. Neither of these are true. Also - we had to ask for enough towels for all of us, and the front desk clerk was rude about that! We still only ended up with 3 towels instead of the 4 we requested. The shower sprayed water EVERYWHERE when turned on and flooded the bathroom even with the curtain closed! This stay was NOT worth the money...especially when you add the party going on that STARTED at about 2 am.

Terrible hotel. Blood stained sheets on bed, very uncomfortable bed, horrible pillows, dirty floors and bathroom, only 2 towels, no soap, shampoo, etc. And no ice machine on-site!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
Absolutely disgusting! I don’t think this hotel has EVER been cleaned. Urine on the toilet, pubic hair in the shower, the bed looks like it’s been through the wringer, the refrigerator is disgusting. There is absolutely no way that this room was ever cleaned. Didn’t stay more than a second.

Great room for the price
The room was clean minus the one dead roach but it was dead. The bed was comfortable and everything else was great for my short term housing needs. The hotel is being renovated so it will only get better.

We didn't stay 10 minutes. The room smelled of mold so bad it hurt my throat. The lamp didn’t work because the socket was falling out of wall. There were no towels or soap or coffee pot or glasses (not that I would have used them). Everything was sticky (I hope from cleaning up the mold). In short, the place defined the word "dump."

Hotel needs to be closed down. I requested a nonsmoking room. The floor (dirty nasty rug) had several burnt marks on it. The room i got was dirty, musty & dusty. The curtains were off their hooks. Furniture broken - smh. Disgusting- never again.

TV did not work (until I hooked up cable). No ice available. Only one light worked in room. Room and property felt dirty and badly renovated. Property is being renovated so a lot of rooms unavailable. When booking it was supposed to be “pets stay free” they charge $15 per pet.

NASTIEST HOTEL/ MOTEL EVER!!
The ABSOLUTE WORST hotel experience EVER- No exaggeration!! From dirty linen, to hard and discolored wash towels, no bathroom doorknob, bricks upholding floor ac unit, peeling paint, standing water in sink( slow drain), no hot water, to BED BUGS!! I'd booked a 2 night stay April 13 -15th while visiting my son who attends a nearby college and thought that Perhaps I could somehow make so despite what i saw upon my arrival at the room. But the more time passed the more unsettling the experience and i myself became. So, 1st thing Friday morning, i pulled the covers All the off the bed, only to witness BUGS SCAMPERING AND EVEN WHAT APPEARED TO BE A NEST IN THE CREASES OF THE MATTRESS, SMH! AT THAT POINT I MARCH DIRECTLY TO THE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN THAT I COULD/ WOULD NOT STAY THERE A MOMENT LONGER, AT WHICH POINT I WAS GIVING A RECEIPT WHICH SUPPOSEDLY REFLECTED A REFUND THAT HAD YET TO BE RETURNED TO MY CARD. Now that's something that I'll obviously follow up on because but the bottom line is DON'T STAY AT THE TRAVEL LODGE IN LUMBERTON , NORTH CAROLINA AS IT IS A TOTAL HEALTH RISK!!
