It was cold and management gave us a little heater, It was very crowded space old and dark. No cups for drinking. Would not recommend anyone stay at this dump.

They need to do basic painting and upgrade. It could be a coin minimal place to stay. At this point it looks terrible.

The room was filthy, cobwebs in the ceiling. Door was disgustingly dirty. Room smelled like urine. The door could not be locked from the outside and owners were unable to repair it. Would never stay here again.

There was a hidden camera in my room and I had to hide it for my stay. I have photos and video of the stay there the day I checked in and the day I checked out. I didn’t know what to do with the videos until I asked my mom. This is such and invasion of my privacy. So disgusting!

Meh I didn't think these types of motels were a thing anymore I'm surprised there wasn't an old tube television and a rotary phone in the room. I do have to say that although the property and furniture are a wee outdated the staff/owners are excellent

No, no, no!
No AC in one of our 2 rooms, was horribly hot, couldn't leave windows open. AC in 2nd room was so dated, too scary to imagine how dirty the filter would have been. No coffee provided. Far too expensive and badly needs more updating and attention.

The hotel had some poor online reviews that made me question whether it was a good choice, but we chose it due to its location relative to our destination. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable, and we were very satisfied. It isn’t a Hilton, but I’d stay there again.

This is an older motel that has seen better days, but it was as clean as a budget traveler might expect. It is unfortunately close to a major highway and not well-insulated, so the air conditioner serves as a muffler for road noise and hums all night. I didn't care for the inner-spring mattress and there was no top sheet.

Worst stay ever. Smelled like smoke. Not clean. Scratchy blankets. Half lightbulbs out. Noise at night and 130 in morning. Hole in wall covered with napkin. No maintenance whatsoever. I used to stay here 5 years ago and was "quaint" now just horrible.

Do not recommend this property. The bathroom was just enough to sit on toilet with out having knees hit the sink cabinet. The shower tile around the faucet was loose. I did not spend the night. I went to a different hotel.

Wow, I could not wait to get out of here. The room smelled awful, it was dirty, noisy outside. There was no one at the front desk so I could check out in the morning. Don't do it!

My husband booked before he read really bad reviews. The room wasnt filthy like some said. The linen appeared clean. The tv didnt work. Its located next to a run down trailer park. But the place reeked of cigarettes to the point my throat got sore. It is in desperate need of an upgrade.

So disappointed in the condition of the Windmill Inn. I knew it was old but couldn't believe all the chipped paint, broken floor tiles, chipped sink and very unsafe railing going up the stairs to the room. In desperate need of updating. There was condiments behind the TV along with dirt/dust. Shower was medium warm, never hot water. Was not advised about the $20 daily fee for pets.

It served its purpose for us… we weren’t planning on staying at the hotel all day but it kind of encouraged us to leave for the day. Room was small; a little worn down but it served its purpose and the bed was comfy.

The accommodation was not expected to be a 5-star hotel and had necessities and satellite TV, appeared to have been cleaned, had basic bathroom amenities. The description claims non-smoking, however, it is a complete ashtray when you enter the room. It may no longer be smoking permitted, but at one point it was chain-smoked in.

Cute idea. Woman at reception was “polite” but cold. Needs love and attention. The room was dark (some bulbs missing), the smell of smoke was overpowering! There was no coffee pot! There were brown smears on the wall beside the toilet! TV only worked intermittently. We won’t go back.

Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and scenic. We chose the location for the cute windmill and price. The room was very small and attached to the living room of the family that owns the hotel so we were not comfortable to speak freely or conduct ourselves how we would have liked so as not to be heard or disturbed by them. We also heard their family most of the time so it wasn't private but it was alright for the price. It would be an ideal location if the accommodations were slightly better and only monthly renters OR short term stays but not both were guests. We were mostly satisfied.
