The management was great. The front desk gentleman was so helpful and could speak English! The tile in the room was beautiful, and the water pressure and hot water was wonderful! On the downside, it is right next to a school and a busy road, with sirens going off all day. I recommend you bring earplugs if you want to sleep late or spend much time in your room during the week.

I requested a triple room with a queen bed and a twin bed. The hotel only had a (small) double bed and charged us $30 to move in another twin bed!

Usted reservó una habitación TPL y es lo que recibió, luego pidió una cama extra, se le cobró 15 dólares extra por la cama, por 2 noches. Por eso se le cargó 30 dólares extra. Usted recibió la habitación que reservó en Expedia. Gracias por alojarse con nosotros y que tenga un hermoso día. Saludos

Nice hotel on the malecon in Puerto Lopez
Nice hotel right on the malecon. We had a balcony overlooking the malecon with a hammock on it. We needed glasses to drink our wine and they brought them immediately. We needed forks to eat our ceviche that we had ordered from next door restaurant and they brought them right away. The hotel is clean and the grounds are lovely. A little breakfast was included, scrambled eggs, slice of ham, two rolls and a few slices of watermelon. Front desk was friendly and the hotel had WiFi. And it was priced very well for the location.

Nice family, simple hotel.
A great family runs this place. We really liked them. Great location. Yet, they face the challenges of this small town. The water pressure for showering is missing. The area is very basic. We feel that we paid a lot for the location. You will like the view of you get oceanfront.

Comfortable stay in Puerto Lopez
Great location in the center of town across from the ocean. Wonderful restaurant right next door that we ate lunch & dinner, very good food & good price. English speaker helped us to check in. Room was clean & comfortable. Pillow was hard but we asked for different pillows & were given right away. The pool was very clean & lovely garden in the back by the pool area. Nice hot shower. Breakfast was great & good coffee. We enjoyed our 2 night stay & would return.

Worn out hotel with mediocre service. Well located
Hotel is old and worn out. Bathroom had permanent dirty floor. Many items were missing in the room upon check-in and front desk staff was unrushed and unconcerned in resolving them. We had to talk to a lady who seemed to be the hotel owner to get things done. But she was not here all the time. Hotel is well located, has a convenient outdoor pool and shower. Beware they charge late check outs. Service in restaurant next door, Moby Dick, was very slow and it’s lady manager was rude.

Good location for Puerto Lopez visit
Good place for short term stay , nice pool ,clean room. Was lacking a few amenities like ice and fridge.

Clean safe hotel right on the beach
Had a room with a deck and hammock overlooking the beach and was able to leave the balcony doors open at night so I could here the waves crashing on the beach. Very peaceful.

Great location with wonderful and helpful staff.
Stayed for two nights and was very impressed with the location and overall experience. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and even assisted in directions for our drive to the next stop. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel bueno frente al malecón
Si bien Puerto López no es un lugar de muchos lujos, el hotel Pacífico destaca como uno de los más completos de la zona. Es súper céntrico, frente al malecón de puerto López y cerca a todo. Las habitaciones habían de varios tipos, me hospedé en una sin aire acondicionado pero con ventilador; si bien la temperatura promedio no era mayor de 27C, en más de un momento sentías la falta de a/c. Fuera de eso, las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas, la limpieza también es bastante buena y la amabilidad del personal es único. La habitación no contaba con frío bar, pero ellos podían guardar las bebidas en la refrigeradora del restaurante principal sin problema alguno. El internet no es de los más veloces, pero cumple su cometido para estar conectado (tampoco es que uno va a mirar una maratón de netflix). Inicialmente pedí una noche, pero al final me quede 2 noches adicionales. Volvería sin problema alguno. Incluyen desayuno por habitación, el cual consistía en pan, mermelada, huevos revueltos, jugo natural y café o te.

Buen hotel para visitar Puerto López
Sólo me hospedé por una noche pero el personal fue de lo más atento. Yo soy mujer y viajaba sola y es un lugar muy seguro para hospedarse ya que siempre están atentos de quién ingresa al hotel. Las instalaciones son buenas y la ubicación está cerca de los lugares de interés pero lo suficientemente cerca del ruido del malecón por las noches. En general muy buena opción y 100% recomendable.

Hotel Pacifico is run by the most welcoming of people. The owner herself made sure our stay was everything we were hoping it would be and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and even prepared a bit early to accommodate our early morning hours. Very friendly family run business that we were happy to call our home away from home. Very nice hotel close to the beach
The hotel staff were excellent. The room I had had air-conditioning and was lovely facing the ocean. I feel the AC was essential the coast is very hot!I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was excellent and they would even make you things not on the menu If asked! During my stay there the Malecon was under construction and there was even a protest staged by the hotel owners to try to pressure the construction company to finish it. Currently they have run out of money or something like that. If that day ever comes it will be lovely.

Very nice, languid, laidback... was glad we asked for a room with air conditioning! Manager helped us get tickets for tour of local island... very nice beach nearby called Los frailes. Breakfast each day was good. Great hotel... only problem is that the whole town is rundown and seems dirty

Very nice Hotel
We booked the Superior Room with an ocean front balcony and AC. The hotel is located very centrally and many restaurants were located near by. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again if in Puerto Lopez.

Pleasant hotel in Small Fishing Village
Pacifico is a nice, not luxurious, pleasant hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms with an ocean view are limited in number and cost extra ($75USD total). Nice clean swimming pool and full very nice breakfast included. The road (Malecon) is under major renovation and likely will take a year or two to complete. When done it will be beautiful.

Lugar Perfecto a buen precio
Estuvo muy comodo el hotel pacifico y muy economico. El wifi era acesible de todas las habitaciones. El hotel esta al pie de la playa y en medio de todo lo que quisiera hacer en Puerto Lopez! Me quede en una habitacion regular y estuvo muy economica. Habian cuartos mas caros con balcon y vista al mar pero como no pase en el cuarto, preferi pagar menos por un lugar mas simple pero igual de comodo. Regrasaria aqui para mi proxima visita.

Our experience at Pacifico was great. We had a street side room with a balcony. The room was smallish but clean, well maintained, good beds and a good shower. The hotel is deceiving from the street in that they have a wonderful pool and recreation area in a garden back yard. The included breakfasts are excelent. The real strength is their staff. They maintain the facility in top condition and are extremely friendly and helpful. They always have a smile and a greating. If there is a negative, it is that the street side rooms are a bit noisy on a Saturday night but that is a minor detail.

One of the better hotels in the area
The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was adequate but basic. We had a family room with a double and two single beds with A/C and balcony on the second floor overlooking the beach. We stayed three nights in all. The hotel is a little outdated I.e. it had a TV ffom the 1980's with no English language channels, no safe in the room but reception had secure facilities. The sheets didn't fit the bed properly and breakfast didn't start until 8am. There were no free refreshments such as in room kettle etc.

Sleepy fishing village waking up
My room had two fans no AC. Not the best of sleep. Construction on the whole city shoreline very disruptive. Not sure if the other hotels have AC if they do not then Pacifico has one up on most being located right on the shoreline (great once the construction is over) in in the center of village. Price reasonable at $45 truly not worth a $100.

Clean friendly place
Right on the beach. Rooms cleaned every day + New towels. Pool warm and clean. Fresh breakfast s, watching the ocean. Staff friendly and helpful.

We found this hotel quite pricey. The only a/c was on the ocean side where the breeze comes from??? Too rich for our blood over there. Pretty hot but with fans at night it's ok. Reasonably clean and comfortable otherwise.

Bon choix à Puerto Lopez
Un bon choix d'hôtel à Puerto Lopez, situé dans le centre de la petite ville. Notre première chambre était sombre, mais ils ont accepté de nous en donner une autre plus éclairée et plus grande. Nous avions choisi une chambre non-climatisée et ce n'était pas nécessaire d'avoir l'air climatisé au début du mois d'août. Le look est un peu défraîchi, couvre-lit décoloré et vieillot, siège de toilette usé, mais c'est propre. La piscine est jolie. Le petit déjeuner était inclus : c'est bien agréable de déjeuner avec la vue sur la mer, même si le café pourrait être meilleur ! Le Wi-Fi était disponible dans le lobby et à certains endroits extérieurs.

It was a lovely hotel. Breakfast is included. Although we do believe there were bed bugs in one of our beds. Besides that the hotel was clean and really well put together. The pool area is nice as well

Great town, great hotel
I loved everything about this hotel. It was clean, affordable, had a great location on beach front. Pool seemed nice although it was rainy during my stay. I stayed in a non-AC room. It was spacious and fan more than adequate. While breakfast was not included, it was inexpensive. I also had a nice fresh fish fillet for dinner at their restaurant on their open air veranda. And they took credit cards unlike most other restaurants in PL. And hosts Nelly and Maria were sweet and very helpful with tours and info about Machalilla and Isla de Plata. And I liked overall vibe of Puerto Lopez, where older and younger crowds and locals and tourists mingle harmoniously
