A relaxing stay
Had a short stay here on a whistle stop tour of the Island. Close to Monte and the city centre and easy to get to the Pico do Ariero walk for an early start. A lovely place and the host Stephanie was wonderful. Bedroom upstairs was spacious and comfortable. Gardens outside where we had our breakfasts are beautiful and overall it was a relaxing pace to stay.

Gemytligt boende med bra läge
Helt fantastiskt boende i en lugn del av Funchal. Utsikten över staden med havet i bakgrunden är bedårande liksom blomsterprakten och växterna i trädgården och på den stora terrassen. Vi blev hjälpsamt och vänligt bemötta.

Un hôtel agréable
Un établissement tenu par une charmante hôtesse, qui est très attentive au bien être des clients. C'est un endroit calme. Les chambres et les lieux communs sont propres. Situé à 15 mn du centre de Funchal et desservi par des bus à 3 mn de l'hotel. Je conseille vivement cet hôtel, je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner si je reviens à Madère.

Stunning location overlooking Funchal
Casa do Caseiro is a lovely small hotel with stunning views over Funchal. I stayed five nights but had wished it was longer! Stephania was a wonderful hostess with nothing too much bother. continental breakfast was varied each morning and served on the beautifully laid out terrace. The only possible downside is that there is a steep walk down into Funchal town and probably a cheap bus ride back depending on how fit you feel! Casa do Caseiro is a little gem and I have no hesitation in recommending it

Wir waren drei Nächte in dieser Pension. Empfang sehr freundlich, Zimmer mit Bad und einem kleinen Balkon sauber und ordentlich, die Größe des Zimmers total in Ordnung. Frühstück für den Preis super (Kaffee, Saft, Brötchen, Butter, Marmelade, Honig, Wurst, Käse, frisches Obst, gekochtes Ei, ....) alles was man braucht für einen guten Start in den Tag. Und das Beste, draußen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf Funchal. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend, eine Querstraße weiter. 1 Minute zu Fuß. Also alles super! Supernetter Service! Wir kommen wieder!

Excellent accueil de Stéphanie. Emplacement idéal pour la vue sur le feu d'artifice de fin d'année. Chambre au confort moyen mais suffisant pour 2 nuits. Petit déjeuner copieux, au soleil sur la terrasse.

Et hjemmekoselig lite hotell med flott utsikt
Et fantastisk sted som bare må oppleves. Hotellet er rent og pent. Det ligger fint til med utsikt over Funchal, og med en vakker hage. Vi ble tatt veldig godt vare på av hun som driver hotellet. Hun visste ikke hva godt hun skulle gjøre for oss. Hit skal vi tilbake.

It's like spending time in a period home. Great staff, available to accommodate our needs. They have a selection of drinks and snacks for guests at the same price as local supermarkets

Beautiful place with view on Funchal
Nice and clean rooms and the breakfast is just perfect to be taken on the terrace during the summer time. Public transport bus stop N. 19 is just around the corner. I enjoyed my stay there and Natacha has been just the perfect hostess.

Étape incontournable à Funchal
La maison dispose d'une magnifique terrasse, très fleurie, avec vue la mer où le petit déjeuner nous est servi. L'hôtesse est très disponible et toujours au petit soin, pour ses clients, aussi bien de l'hôtel que du salon de thé /snack qu'elle propose l'après midi. Des transats, des coussins ainsi que des serviettes de bain sont à notre disposition pour profiter au mieux de la piscine. Un bar est en libre service (moyennant une participation plus que raisonnable ) pour déguster un apéritif local sous la tonnelle ou au bord de la piscine. Établissement où l'on s'y sent très bien. .. Nous avons eu du mal à en partir! !!! A ne pas rater. ..

Nice Hotel with a beautiful garden and terrasse
The hotel is very nice with a beautiful garden and terrasse, where the guests can have breakfast. The room was small but very clean and well furnished. The lady who manages the hotel is a really helpful and friendly person. Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy because of the highway, which runs very close to the hotel.

Relaxing place, full of character and charm
A Casa do Caseiro was a delightful, relaxing place to stay and excellent value for money. The staff were wonderful - very friendly, attentive and keen to make sure that all guests were happy. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful courtyard overlooking Funchal bay and by the pool. Our room was simple but spotlessly clean. The wifi was excellent. We chose to walk to and from A Casa do Caseiro but appreciated being given details of local buses when we checked in.

Lovely Hotel, great service and views
Small hotel with lovely terrace, views over Funchal and the sea! Rental car is recommended. Good starting point for excursions to the rest of the island.

Tranquil delightful property.
Delightful property on the steep slopes of upper FUNCHAL. Very helpful and attentive staff. Stephanya was full of information such as local bus routes, eaterys, Facts about Madeira and FUNCHAL. The house is of traditional build with interior decoration to match. Comfortable, very clean and felt tranquil. The property is on the steep slopes of upper FUNCHAL near Monte and the Tropical Gardens, the basket sledge run finishes just up the road. Public transport is frequent and there are always taxis around in the day time.

lovely tradional stay
We ended our maderian adventure here on the last night,such a lovely,homely traditional feel to the place,parking not good but just down from hotel 100meters there is car parking overlooking v1,we really enjoyed our stay,staff very friendly,we we guided to a fantastic local restaurant on the top road 15minutes walk,such a peaceful location away from the hustle and busel of downtown funchal,yet only 2kmaway,thank you to the team for a lovely stay ☺

Un séjour à Madère
L'hôtel est très beau et on a une super vue sur l'océan. En voiture il y a un parking gratuit juste en bas à droite de l'hôtel où il y a toujours de la place. Mais si vous voulez visitez Funchal il faut plutôt circuler en bus car les côtes sont raides et le stationnement en ville compliqué.

A gem of a hotel just outside Funchal centre
A gem of a hotel, we were made to feel so welcome. The breakfast in the garden is amazing and the pool area is lovely (even went for a swim!) with facilities to rustle up a little snack. The food prices in the hotel are also very reasonable. A good spot to see the June firework competiton in Funchal too. We hope to be able to return as many others seem to have!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, könnte aber abwechslungsreicher sein. Unterkunft liegt mitten in Monte, dadurch wenige Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden.

Sfeervol verblijf!
Het hotel is heel sfeervol en de ontvangst is zeer hartelijk. De ligging is handig voor een bezoek aan de botanische tuin en de sleetjes: loop naar beneden(30 min) ,neem de bus of de kabelbaan omhoog , neem een sleetje en loop de rest weer naar de Casa(5min.)

Excelente. É uma gracinha, com poucos quartos muito limpos, banheiro impecável. Para ser perfeito, só falta TV e ar condicionado, mas há um ventilador de teto que atende. O preço é muito bom e as atendentes são ótimas, procuram agradar. Honestos, tudo dentro do prometido
