We are of course more than happy to provide all of our guests with coffee for in-room (or in coffee-hut preparation in the case of the tents) - however, it sounds like perhaps who you spoke to thought that you were asking about where you could find an already prepared coffee, or coffee shop. :( And it is true that this year with covid, our restaurant has remained closed on Wednesdays, though we have been very clear about this and notify all of our guests in advance. Glad that despite these hiccups you found the lake and area to be enjoyable and serene! Take care.

Sorry to hear about your experience, we try to be as transparent as possible regarding the special Covid19 industry protocol this year which prevents us from adding non-essential items to rooms, that is why we send a pre-arrival email to all guests outlining that all of these items can be added upon request, we would've been more than happy to provide any extra utensils if it was brought to our attention. Happy to hear that you enjoyed the bed and the shower and hopefully the beautiful outdoor surroundings as well!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that we were not a fit for your group. In response to your comments, 1. All of our tents have access to our main washroom facilities which have flush toilets and hot showers, however we do also have porta-potties around the property so that you have closer access for at night. 2. Yes, due to covid, the protocol in place, and less staff than most years due to reduced occupancy in staff housing, we are closed one night of the week in our restaurant. Nearly all restaurants on the coast are closed one or two nights a week, and many restaurants have shut down entirely due to covid. 3. Most of our accommodations on site have parking directly beside them. However, the Rainforest Tent is a remote walk-in tent, as it is clearly described on our website and our booking engine. The area which you may have thought was suitable for parking, actually is not accessible by vehicle - but since you didn't stay, I suppose you did not discover where that road comes from, or leads to. 4. The lifejacket issue is a result of the covid protocol that we are following for the health and safety of our staff and all of our guests, and all guests are informed of this prior to their arrival. All of the information regarding the above comments are clearly outlined on our website, so perhaps next time you should do a little research before booking a spot, to see if the property will be a good fit for you?

Thanks for sharing your feedback, and we are so very sorry to hear that it sounds like some details were missed - this is not usual and we will be sure to tighten housekeeping procedures so as to ensure that details like this are not missed. We hope that this was brought to someone's attention at the time of your stay so that we were given the opportunity to rectify immediately? All of the flooring in all of our cottages was redone in 2017, so actually the carpets are not old, though we understand that carpets are often seen as "old fashioned".

We are so sorry to read this and realize now that we were apparently very misunderstood, and that you had to wait for the receptionist to cross the road in order to get you checked in for this last minute booking. We are very glad, however, to know that you did enjoy the accommodations and were able to get some well-needed rest.
