친절하고 위치도 좋은 호텔
마드리드 3박 하면서 이용했습니다. 프라도, 티센 등 미술관 방문 예정이라 선택한 곳인데 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 미술관 걸어다니기도 좋고 직원들이 굉장히 친절했습니다. 체크인 할 때도 환대해 주는 분위기였고 체크아웃할 때도 택시 잡으려고 하는 걸 알고 뛰어 나가서 바로 잡아주고(미리 택시 예약하지 않았어요) 짐도 옮겨 주었어요. 오후부터 자정까지는 간단한 음료와 간식을 먹을 수 있도록 되어 있습니다. (저희는 미술관 돌고 교외 다니느라 늦게 와서 음료나 요거트 정도만 먹었습니다만 혹시 여행 중간에 더위를 피해 호텔로 다시 오시면 간단한 점심 식사도 될 정도였습니다.) 다만 위치 자체가 지하철 역에서 약간 오르막인 느낌이 있었습니다. 미술관 갈 때는 위쪽으로 이동이라 평지였습니다. 이 호텔이 마드리드를 더욱 사랑하게 만들었습니다. 하우스 키핑도 아주 깔끔하게 해주셔서 감사 인사 남기고 왔습니다. 체크아웃 하면서 다시 오겠다고 했습니다. 마드리드로 다시 오고싶다고 생각하게 하는 호텔이었습니다. 15일 동안 스페인 여러 도시를 다니며 호텔을 이용했지만 직원들의 응대 태도는 이 곳이 가장 만족스러웠습니다.

솔광장에서 5분 정도 떨어진 위치에 있고 프라도 미술관 마드리드왕궁 모두 걸어서 갈 수 있는 최상의 위치. 골목 하나 차이로 의외로 조용히 휴식할 수 있는 곳 . 근처 레스토랑 역시 맛있었고 호텔 식사 역시 최고! 잠시 외출했다 와도 늘 청소 해주시는 자상한 서비스에 감동했습니다

일단 호텔은 처음찾긴 좀 어렵기도 하고 큰 규모는 아니구, 들어갈때 받은 키가 저희 전부 작동안되서 다시 한번 내려갔다 왔었어요. 하지만 방은 좋구요 욕실도 좋았어요. 내부에 커피머신도 잘 이용했구요, 조식도 괜찮고 서빙하는 여자분 너무 친절해서 즐겁게 먹었네요. 솔광장이랑도 가깝고 저희는 도보로 돌아다녔어요. 전반적으로 만족해요

The staff at this hotel were the most helpful that I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble, we thought it was the best experience. The hotel is so well located with lots of cafes and bars and culture on the doorstep. Everywhere is walkable. We will be back for sure!

Excellent location in walking distance for the big art galleries and super tapas bars locally. All of the staff were helpful particularly those who served breakfast. A nice touch is the light snacks and drinks available in the afternoon. We would certainly recommend La Catalonia for a visit to Madrid.

It was very conveniently located. The staff, especially Mariano was very helpful, especially when my husband had problems with his flight being cancelled. The hotel was spacious and close to all the sites we wanted to see, including the Prado and the Reina Sophia museum. We could easily walk to Sol and the Plaza Mayor. Lots of dining options all around.

Not worth your money
Great location with walking distance to all famous tourist places, restaurants and shopping. But the room is so small with no space to walk at all. Bathroom is very basic.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Madrid
Checked in with Javi and he not only reviewed the hotel amenities with us, He also gave us a map circling all the sites we should see and going over everything. Reception area, bar area and sitting area all very lovely. Beautiful original staircase up to our room on the third floor. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and a large comfortable bed. Plenty of lighting and French doors overlooking a side street. Plenty of plugs for charging all of our electrical devices, complementary tea and coffee for the morning and a nice big bathroom with tub/shower and great water pressure. Location was terrific midway between the Prado and the palace. Javi made reservations for dinner for us and had great suggestions for other eateries.

Fabulous location to everything in the historical district. We stayed in a junior suite which offered spacious elegance with comfortable seating and bedding. Afternoon snacks offered were similar each day and only average. This boutique hotel's staff was excellent to deal with providing personal details for dining suggestions and directions to city attractions. It would have been helpful to have a hand railing in the shower area.

Excellent choice! Very nice hotel with helpful staff located in a great location close by Santa Ana Plaza and 10 min walk to several points of interest. Beds were very comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom also roomy with very nice shower pressure. I highly recommend this hotel.

Serviceinnstilt personale. Fint rom - ikke for trangt. God frokost, også her god service. Gjennomgåande vennlege, flinke ansatte ved hotellet som hadde kunden i fokus ! Et lite minus for ar avløpet til både dusj og vask ikke var helt optimalt. Også air-condition kunne gjerne ha vært bedre - rommet var varmt høver gang jeg kom tilbake fra tur og tol da lang tid før optimal temp var gjenopprettet

Hotel muito bem localizado e confortável. Café da manhã excelente. Quarto confortável, porém na nossa primeira noite o ar condicionado não esfriava de forma alguma e como não havia disponibilidade de outros quartos nos deram um ventilador e garantiram a troca do quarto p o dia seguinte

Fab stay in heart of Madrid
Lovely hotel, in a bustling area, lots of bars and eateries..hotel close to all the great sites Madrid has to offer. Staff very friendly, smiling and helpful. Special mention goes to breakfast waiter! Good night's sleep, comfortable bed, very quiet...plus every afternoon, nice selection of sandwiches, croissants, and drinks for guests!

Vi var supernöjda med allt, läget, service och hur rummen ser ut, vänlig personal mm förutom ac:n som lät väldigt mycket. Trevliga gator runt omkring och en liten bonus var att man fick ta snacks på eftermiddagen utan kostnad hos dem. Minibaren var lite för dyr för att köpa vatten tyvärr men vi fick en flaska gratis första dagen. Hade frukosten varit lite billigare hade vi nog tagit det där men det finns gott om trevliga ställen i närheten att ta en enklare frukost på.
