It is not a bad hotel but it certainly doesn’t live up to the images on various booking sites as a luxury hotel. The location is amazing which is what you are paying for, but the hotel itself is actually quite tired looking and in need of a bit of love and repairs.
The hairdryer was barely working, the toilet flush was broken, the room was a bit dusty in places, no full length mirror or anywhere to hang dresses and we were not informed that water was complimentary as it states 5 euros on the mini bar menu. Neither did we realise until the last day that you could order cooked breakfast which was supposedly all included.
The Puro beach clubs they eagerly promote has a minimum spend of £90/couple incl sun beds although the shuttle there is free if you book in advance.
Most staff were very friendly which helped even if they didn’t give us all or correct information about things.
I am very glad we didn’t pay for the most expensive rooms as then we would have been even more disappointed.
I would recommend it for the location but personally we would probably not go back.
