Apart from the staff - very good and helpful, The overall experience is below average. The room and the furniture is old and dated. Nothing like what you see in the pictures.

Chambre horrible , 80€ la nuit c’est une honte , à mon avis nous avions eu la dernière chambre de disponible un peu la prison dans un coin de l’hôtel enfermé et très sale . Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

Över förväntan!!
Vi läste andra recensioner om kackerlackor, mögel, ingen fungerande AC och hårda sängar. Håller INTE med. Väldigt nöjda med vistelsen. AC var väldigt kall, inga kackerlackor, mjuka och sköna sängar. Lite lyhört men inga problem alls. Perfekt läge nära till restauranger och strand. Poolen och takterrassen var oftast tom och lugn. Hjälpsam personal när man hade frågor. Gratis iskallt dricksvatten i receptionen

3 star "Hotel" or "Hostal" Primera?
ESP Lo que me ha gustado de la estancia en Hotel Primera: El personal del hotel es muy amable, Agua gratis, Los croissants y el café por la mañana (desayuno), El adaptador en la habitación, El hervidor para te y café en la habitación, La piscina (planta 7), La ubicación del hotel en cuanto a las paradas/líneas de autobuses (31 & 48 - super cómodo para llegar a la Valeta y Mosta fácilmente) El Spar está ubicado muy acerca... Lo que NO me ha gustado de la estancia en Hotel Primera: El ruido dentro el hotel y el ruido fuera (el jaleo de los pubs y bars, música, trafico en las calles justo al lado del hotel) - no descansé nada bien. El aire acondicionado en la habitación es antiguo y muy ruidoso. A pesar de que me gustó mucho el ambiente del Hotel, es más como si fuera un albergue. ENG What I enjoyed about my sejourn in Hotel Primera: The staff is very friendly, Free water, Morning croissants and coffee (breakfast), Adaptor in room, The kettle for tea and coffee in the room, The swimming pool (floor 7), The location of the hotel regarding the bus stops/lines (31 & 48) - very easy to travel to La Valletta and Mosta, Spar supermarket is very near... What I did NOT enjoy about my sejourn in Hotel Primera: The noise inside and outside the hotel (noise/music from the pubs/bars, traffic right next to the Hotel) - I did not rest well, The AC in the room is so old and very noisy, Despite liking the ambience of the Hotel, it is more like a hostal.

Die Anlage ist ok, der Pool auf dem Dach auch. Nur riechen die Zimmer nach Schimmel, das sieht man auch an den Wänden im Bad und Flur.

Ho trascorso 3 notti, il personale è sicuramente un punto di forza dell'hotel, sempre gentile e disponibile. La struttura di per se è molto accogliente e ben organizzata, la pulizia delle stanze è ottima e i servizi lo sono altrettanto.

Excellent value for money. Basic accommodation - I booked room only so can't state an opinion on the food. Hotel very well situated, staff friendly, lovely roof top area with plunge pool though able to swim in the sea just 5 minutes walk away too. Comfortable bed and decent shower. 2 lifts and a ramp by the steps - I was using a walking stick so ideal! I intend to book there again next year.

Very disappointed - it is supposed to be a 3 star hotel but in my opinion we paid alot for nothing.. mould , no toilettries, no tv channels, telephone disconnected… nothing to do in hotel .. so disappointed .. would expect more for a 3 star hotel

Parto con il dire che è una struttura che potrebbe migliorare molto, non solo a livello estetico come stanno facendo, ma anche a livello organizzativo. -Pulizie: quasi assenti, alzavano le lenzuola e mettevano gli asciugamani (che spesso ci sono capitati sporchi), non hanno mai pulito il lavandino nel bagno e raramente passavano la scopa a terra. -Colazione: avendo due persone celiache, avevamo comunicato al momento della prenotazione di questa problematica ed abbiamo ottenuto come risposta che si sarebbero attrezzati. La prima mattina in cui scendiamo a fare colazione non avevano nulla senza glutine perché dalla reception non avevano comunicato il nostro arrivo... Meno male dalla seconda mattina si sono attrezzati. -Cena: avendo usufruito della mezzapensione avevamo la cena nel pub accanto, in quanto era all'esterno. Nel pub c'era bisogno del voucher che dichiarava fossi della struttura ed a noi non ci era stato rilasciato nulla e non era stato comunicato dell'intolleranza. Meno male che il responsabile era molto disponibile ed ha rimediato subito al problema. -Struttura: forse dovrebbero valutare l'idea di chiudere qualche mese e finire i lavori che ci sono all'interno, perché oltre ai turisti ci sono gli operai che terminano i lavori di ristrutturazione/miglioria della struttura. Anche perché le camere potrebbero essere migliorate coprendo le canaline dell'antincendio o migliorando la pendenza del piatto doccia..

Positiv: Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut fünf Minuten zum Meer und in zwei Minuten in der Stadt. Preisleistung war oke. Balkon war sehr gross und man hat einen schönen Meerblick. Negativ: Frühstücksbuffet hat man keine grosse Aufwahl. (z.B. nur Toast kein anders Brot etc.) In unserem Zimmer wurde nicht einmal (in den fünf Tagen) der Boden gewischt oder geputzt, es war sehr schmutzig mit Sand etc. Die kurzhaarige Dame an der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich.

This is a good clean budget hotel. Extremely clean and functional. Great staff with the exception of Jan who was very unhelpful and rude. I’d return here if on a short break but would look for something less basic if staying in Malta longer.

Ok for overnatting. Innenendørs basseng i kjelleren var bortgjemt og tomt. Utendørs basseng på var ok, men ingen servering der. Frokost ok, men bacon var ikke godt. Greit rom, men badet trenger fornyelse. Alt funket, men drar ikke dit igjen.

The accommodations at this hotel are average but we left after one night due to the craziness just outside. If you are looking for a party town this is it. There were party people out and being loud until 05:00. We went there to see the aquarium, which was delightful, and to use as a home base to explore Malta but we were chased out by the load parting which happens just outside. Not a place for a quiet holiday.

Central hotel in Bugibba!!
The hotel is at the town center, with everything very close . Staff from housekeeping and reception is hospitable and attentive! Breakfast big enough to start your day! Thank you for all the service !!!

Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself although clean was in need of refurbishment. The area is a busy night life area, Noise from people talking/shouting and screaming most nights till 3am one night went on till 4:30. Then the bin men to take the rubbish from 6:30am, one morning it was 4:30am . Didn't get one good nights sleep. Air con was not working for the first few days so had to have the balcony door open.

Dear Sir/Madam, The Hotel is situated in the city centre and yes it is surrounded by bars and restaurants.Regarding noise we have no control in the near bars. Regarding A/C we apologise and yes we had an issue with the chillers and a/c was not in good working conditions.Chillers are now installed and working as it should be.Room were refurbished except the Internal Rooms. we thank you for your review.
