This is my favorite hotel in this area. I stay here once a month for a week for work and everyone here is always wonderful.

This is a typical roadside motel, the staff was very friendly though and everything was copacetic. We were hungry so we went to the restaurant attached to the Inn, Cafe Bellini. It was unbelievable! The menu was fabulous and everything we tried was delicious and amazing.

For the price, this is a fine place. Comfortable, clean, pleasant staff. The continental breakfast is sparse, but it's in a reasonably-priced full-service restaurant so if you arrive at lunch or dinner time you can eat right on site. Living in northern California, this is my go-to if I arrive at SFO at night, I stay here and continue home in the morning. Or if I need to be in the Bay area early in morning, I stay here the night before.

perfect - nice quiet affordable hotel in a good location for me to head to point reyes after breakfast. like how breakfast is include my only knock --- get rid of wolfgang puck coffee packets it's awful use good old boring folgers

We spent a week at Villa Inn while we visited family at Christmas, and it worked out perfectly for us. 24 hour staffing at the office, friendly and accommodating service throughout, continental breakfast, and a convenient central location. Highly trvommmrnf.

I know its very old but the room was so clean and the continental breakfast was good and the staff are friendly and polite. I am here for work which is at night i feel safe enough to step out with no issues.

I asked the front desk to have a room with no one above me, as i had not slept in 24 hours. She gave me a room and I was woken up 2 hours later with stomping above me. I was given another room, but i had to move all my stuff and I was so exhausted and sleep deprived. Very poor planning on their part, especially as the place had very few people staying there.

Carpet and furniture are a bit worn, no biggie. Sheets and linens were very clean and I really like the updated bathroom, which was extremely clean and a shower head with multiple settings was relaxing. It was very quiet for a saturday night. Breakfast had good options for continental with fresh waffles and a good mix of fresh fruit. The lady that made my waffles was extremely sweet. Would stay again for sure

Dirty and noisy. Paper thin walls so you can hear the rabbits next door all night. Very active area outside your rooms and deadbolt broken. Had someone try to open my door twice at night. Nobody at the office both times I went and won’t answer the phone. Not recommended at this price point.

Comfortable Stay, Warm hosts
Stayed in Villa Inn for 2 nights to explore Marin, San Rafael, and Napa. Comfortable stay, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The owner of Villa Inn hails from Italy, so it was cute to see references from Venice and other spots in Italy there. Check-in is open till late hours, and ample parking is available for your car. Continental breakfast is served, much like any other inn/ hotel but good to get your day started. It is right on the highway, so stopping by here is pretty easy.

Fine option for a good price.
This motel is actually great for the price. It's in a good location if you have a car, with easy access to all of Marin County, and to San Francisco. The rooms are definitely dated, but very large. Great shower. Rooms have fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, blow-dryer, etc. Good air conditioning.
