From the moment I stepped into the lobby and was made welcome to the moment I was wished a safe journey on leaving I enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxed stay. My room was large, my bed so comfortable, heaps of hot water in the shower and help with directions on my way to the next stop - all this made for a pleasant stay!

Lovely owners and property. Fantastic decor, room and bed. Quiet and got a good night's sleep even though it's next to a main road (very easy to access).

Friendly, efficient service. Room was large, and comfortable. All amenities were in good order. Staff were excellant and made us feel at home.

The hotel was a staging point for a visit to family in the Yarra Valley and visiting the region. It provided an easy starting point and was comfortable, and although on the Maroondah Highway, traffic noise was not too concerning. It provided a comfortable bed fo each night in a spacious room.

Needed to stay somewhere close to our daughter in Croydon. It fitted the bill very well. We enjoyed the space. It was warm and comfortable.

This place was very cute!! Great size rooms. Ample carpark. Even though a lot of rooms are facing the road, the double glazing on the patio stops the noise from coming in.

Hi Jeannie, Thank you for your kind review. To let you know I personally checked Room 21's balcony. The lock was the small knob to the left of the handle. It just needed to be turned. The TV was in good working order. When you stay with us again, please speak to us to fix any problems as we like all our guests to have a wonderful, positive experience at Victoria House. The Victoria House Motor Inn was a cute, older style accommodation that suited our accommodation needs. Very cute and close to our wedding reception. The owners (Rod & Renee) were exceptional and very helpful.

Old style buildings neeed good paint outside and a/c in dining room lacking a pool but could put in big spa somewhere

Thank you for review. The majority of exterior of building has been painted in last 6 months, occasionally where some of the creeper is removed it needs renewing, this may be what is being referred to. There is a working a/c in dining room and we don't have the space for a pool.

The weather was cold but the room was warm. The hotel was on a main road but the room was very quiet. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The managers were very helpful and personal.
