dear Kristine we are a little surprised by your comment because you stayed for a week and you didn't tell us about anything! For information when you came it was 15 ° in Marrakech, the riad is covered and heated in the evening and in the rooms our beds have two blankets, one of which is very warm and there is heating which you have used well. Contrary to what you say because it was very hot in the room when the maids came to clean your room in the morning. the riad's bathrooms are in tadelakt (traditional materials from Morocco which makes them charming) and not especially in concrete. Concerned about the mosques dancing in the Medina are the best in normal Maroc puisque as a pays musulman, which is the only way to save your room at any venue in Iran ! and to finish on the area we are located in the Medina the historic and authentic heart very appreciated by our customers and not at all in the slums ! En ce qui concerne petit bassin sur le toit terrasse, c'est un bassin saison donc pas chauffé (comme il est précisé sur notre site internet) et la filtration étant par tranche de 30mn, peut être quand vous y étiez c'était le temps de pose. En ce qui concerne notre quartier, nous sommes situés dans la Medina de Marrakech dans un environnement familiale très apprécié de nos clients pour le côté authentique et très sécurisé. De plus des cameras de surveillance sont présentes à l'extérieur du riad, il ne pouvait donc rien vous arriver (d'ailleurs il ne vous ai rien arrivé). Dear Daniel, After 3 nights staying and enjoying Riad Vert with guests you met during your stay, you sent us an email at 6am to tell us you had to check out earlier because you had an emergency in your family and asked us to refund the 3 nights lefts. We told you you had to check with the travel agency you booked with if you took an insurance or may be with Visa if you paid with a gold card as this event can be covered because it was not possible for us to refund you regarding to our cancellation policy. You said ok and you asked us a taxi to go to the airport which we did and when you left you told us nothing special except you had a wonderfull stay, staff and food was amazing ! Our driver called us 30mn after to inform us you finally went in the city in a another hotel ! You can image how we were surprised ! This explain your average review about the riad because we have not refunded you ! So it's not very fare to punish Riad Vert's team who works hard and provides the best service they can, keeps the riad clean and treats guests with delicious food. If you had such problems you describe may be you should come straight on and inform Nadia or Isabel, the 2 managers, about this and we could have offered another room if the problem was there or add a mattress topper on your bed. Other guests were staying in the same time and nobody complained about the water pressure. A/C was working but way be you forget to turn it on as it provides a comfortable warmth. Thanks anyway for your visit, sometimes it's difficult to satisfy all travelers especially when they a not communicating with us but the people who will read our answer will make the difference at the sight of our excellent reviews on Expedia, thanks to them ! Podemos recomendar la próxima vez para tomar la transferencia del riad en lugar de las ventas de transferencia por agencias de viajes en línea, ¡es más seguro y más barato! En ce qui concerne le prix le diner il est de 18€/personne pour un menu complet composé de 3 entrées, 1 plat principal ainsi qu'un dessert et il nous semble que cela soit très raisonnable comparé aux tarifs pratiqués à Marrakech. En ce qui concerne votre transfert de l'aéroport jusqu'au riad, il a été réservé par vous même via le site Ebooker avec une agence en ligne de transfert aéroport et nous ne sommes pas responsable du fait qu'ils ne soient jamais venus vous chercher ! Sachez que les transferts réservés auprès du riad sont toujours à l'heure, attendent nos clients même avec 3 heures de retard et les accompagnent jusqu'au riad ce qui n'est pas le cas des agences de transfert réservées en ligne. Il n'est donc pas très juste de le faire apparaitre dans votre commentaire. Nous sommes désolées et nous vous recommandons pour votre prochain séjour de réserver directement avec nous (n'oubliez pas d'effectuer une réclamation auprès du service concernée de Ebooker) A une prochaine fois vous connaissez l'adresse ! In der Tat musste Couscous am Vortag bestellt werden, da wir einen Gastgebertisch und kein Restaurant anbieten und Couscous am selben Tag zubereitet und gegessen werden muss :-) Barzahlung ist nur für Extras und Taxi möglich, Zimmer kann per Kreditkarte als gebucht werden Es war speziell in unserer Willkommens-E-Mail. Wir würden uns freuen, Sie für Ihr nächstes Gateway in Marrakesch begrüßen zu dürfen. We are located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech in a family and quiet area usually very appreciated by our guests and not dangerous at all, the proof you had no problem to get back on foot ! About the bathroom odor, i came into your room the day you asked me and nothing smelt bad, it's just because you wanted to light some candles and i told you it was forbidden in the riad for security reason. Regarding to your payement we always apply the exchange rate of the day on the web and we do not take any commissions while banks do and the exchange rate of the day of your payment was 11.49 which we applied. It's not very fare to give us such a bad rate and one more thing you forget to tell us you broke the lamp in the library which is not very smart ! Dear Bodil, Thanks to share your opinion on Expedia. First i would like to precise our area is not as you told it's a typical area in the old city with families around and very appreciated by our guests. May be you should book a hotel in the new city much appropriate for what you were expected. Second the little plug pool on the roof top is not a jaccuzi but a plunge season pool which you can use more during spring and summer time (in Marrakech during Christmas time it can be 4° degree at night). This regarding to the tour it was not a obligation to book with us and you asked us for a discount which the company we are working with kindly made even if it's was high season and regarding to the payment you were aware by email prior to arrival that extra had to be paid by cash direct to the company as it does not pass by Riad Vert business and i confirm you found some NTM on you way back from the mountains. Cooking class in the family you were is a moment you share with a berber family so you learn how they leave cook and shore with them a much which is a great experience usually really appreciated by our guests as it's authentic. Last for your departure you had ordered a taxi for 3pm but you were late so it's not very faire to accuse the driver who was there since quarter to 3? You husband you left had Riad Vert who enjoyed a snack when you were outside was waiting for you !!! And i don't think you had a problem with the staff we even helped you to book restaurants, explanations not to get lost and tips to enjoy the city .... Sometimes it's hard to please everyone !
