There are no words for this place. The food was amazing and the resort is beautiful. Everyone made the trip unforgettable. Melanie was so incredible even before i arrived. The mood mud massage was the most unique spa treatment ever. Do not pass that up. Every detail was perfect. We literally never wanted to leave.. they dont treat you like a guest. From the moment you arrive you feel amazing. I cannot say thank you enough!

If you want an experience somewhat out of the ordinary that is different and unique, away from your electronic devices, this is the place in the jungle near Mascall Village. Stayed at Abezza Resort for 3 nights during our trip to Belize, and Melanie took fantastic care of us while there. She arranged for all of our travel from the airport to the water taxi, all of our private custom tours each day (straight from our hut room), and offers fantastic service from the friendly, personable, and knowledgable local drivers to the tour guides and staff employees. Visited 3 Maya sites while there, Lamanai, Xunantunich, and Altun Ha. All were terrific. Food and food service is excellent there. Had a great time. If you want the all in one experience from morning to evening, Abeeza Resort was the place for us.

I absolutely loved my stay at Belize Boutique Resort & Spa. It is truly one of my favorite places to visit when in Belize. The property owners are so welcoming and truly make you feel at home and provide an unforgettable experience. Belize Boutique Resort & Spa is great for the solo traveler, for couples, and even for groups. There is fine dining on the property that can cook to any diet, spa services, yoga studio, chapel, jungle in backyard, and endless activities for you to do. A very quirky property with many cute and thoughtful places to hang out. The welcome by Mel was super friendly and informative. The rooms are getting tired and are in need of renovations. Our room had quite a lack of daylight. The quality of towels was poor and we really missed hot water in the room. Food was good and freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

This resort offered a unique experience sort of "off the beaten path." We only had a quick 2 days there but Melanie our hostess made sure we were able to squeeze in all of the activities we wished to do. They booked all excursions and provided transportation. Food was delicious. Definitely would return to this resort

Weekend Getaway
Perfect weekend getaway with spouse. The staff doubles as tour guides for local activities on the mainland. Just one activity is enough for half the day and then use of the hotel amenities in the evening if perfect for relaxing.

Melanie reached out in advance of arriving to ensure she had all the details of our arrival. She greeted us as we arrived, was accommodating and showed us around. The room, amenities and staff are all 5 star. The food we had was cooked to order using the freshest ingredients. Would recommend the Indian wrap. The room was fantastic and the whole vibe of the place was welcoming g and relaxing - so peaceful and lots to see and enjoy. We only stayed for 1 night but would stay longer if we visit again! Will recommend this place to any family/friends traveling through Belize.

It was nothing of what we imagined but everything we didn't know we needed. There's an abundance of peace, nature and tranquility. If we mentioned a day at the beach, it was possible within 24 hours, no tour was unattainable. The chef specials at dinner were cooked to perfection and the Mud massage and bath were exceptional. This was definitely an extraordinary, off the grid experience. We look forward to our next visit.

Away with all the hustle and bustle of the city. Take in some fresh air and get a chance to fully Detox. This experience was Very unique and well worth the money. It was more than I expected. You get a real Jungle experience with a colorful boutique scheme, with a carefree and laidback vibe. The staff does everything to assure that your stay is warm and welcoming throughout the duration of your visit. The food was awesome and all the amenities will have you Hooked to return for more. I don’t think I have ever had such a tranquillizing experience, when at any moment I can switch the mood and feel the beats of the great music that is played softly throughout the day in the jazzy guest pavilion. I travel a lot and I guarantee this will be one of my quarterly visits throughout the year. I’m sure anyone will feel like this is their home-away-from-home,just as I did. By the way, all of this was relished by my lonesome “solo”. So either way, this can be a visit for romance, or fun with a group, or fall in love with yourself!!!!

This property was unbelievably beautiful. We were met with a warm and smiley welcome from Melanie, special shout out to her, she was so attentive, happy and so helpful, she really went that extra mile to make our stay amazing. The resort was stunning, so quirky and beautiful, with hidden pools and little nooks to go and retreat to, or a hidden mineral spa, to the dining room in the tree tops, this place is truly magical! I cannot wait to return, we only stayed 2 nights but could have stayed for many more, we were very sad to leave :-( The food was delicious too, very tasty and worth the wait, everything is made from scratch and very natural/eco friendly which we really appreciated. All in all I would highly recommend this magical place, definitely a resort you will remember for life. Jennie and Calum

Let me start by saying that no photos or videos will ever do justice to the beauty, tranquility, and peace found at Belize Boutique Resort and Spa. Every single inch of the property is thoughtfully and intentionally designed allowing you to feel like you are literally interacting with a labor of love. Yes, it’s remote and cell-phone service and wifi is confined to mostly one part of the property, but that is exactly why we chose to stay there—it was an incredible way to disconnect and be present with one another and nature—absolutely no regrets!! Every staff member was attentive, kind, and helpful—from the owners Melanie and Merickston who provided exceptional information preparing us for our trip and ensuring this birthday celebration was unforgettable, to our wait staff, masseuses and don’t even get me started on the passion and joy Amilcar and Delwin brought to each excursion as our tour guides. Bonus, if you’re contemplating which excursions to do, make sure you sign up for cave tubbing and zip lining with Delwin—you won’t regret it! Each meal we had was absolutely delicious and the thoughtfulness that goes into the menu made us excited to see what we would experience next! From the surprise birthday cake to kick off our trip, to the delicious in-house made breads and pastas, to the freshest fish and ingredients, nothing disappointed! Relaxing stay in the Belize jungle
Melanie, Nicky and all the team at Belize Boutique Resort made us feel as family friends and that was a wonderful feeling. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the perfect setting for a very relaxing vacation. Melanie and Nick were great host and so are all the staff in the Resort. We were welcomed and provided complimentary anniversary package upon arrival. Very responsive staff and great customer service. We appreciated the opportunity to experience Belize as a whole by visiting places outside the resort as well. Great experience overall. We would have loved to have Wi-Fi Access in the rooms or in additional areas instead of the pool side. It was however a great opportunity to decompress.

Amazing!! My wife said it reminded her of the television show Fantasy Island. Anythying you wanted, all you had to do was ask. The owners (Melanie & Nicky) greet everyone and make you feel welcome. With only 20 rooms, you know everyone and they remember you. The couples mud massage was excellent!! They book anything for you...transport to and from airport, excursions, and spas. When others went on excursions we had the resort to ourselves.....literally the only ones in the pool or mineral bath. As close to paradise as you will ever find!!

Belize Boutique Resort and Spa is an absolute treasure! I had such a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful resort. Melanie and her staff made our stay extra special. We had a wonderful and special Christmas at Belize Boutique Resort. We stayed at the Opium Villa with Two Bedrooms and two baths. Loved the decor and the ambience. Food was extraordinary and made to order fresh. Breakfast was included. Customer service is excellent. This is an one of a kind property tuckied away in a rural setting. This is run by a family and they have personal touch in everything from decor to food to customer service. Melanie, Nicky, Merickston and Sterling are the owners and we became friends. The boys (Merickston(17)and Sterling(13)) are darlings who runs the restaurants during dinner time. I loved the spa services offered. Specially recommend the mud massage. If you are an adventure and tour person, they offer several tours. I recommend the Lamanai tour. They are taking extraordinary safe measures to give you an one of a kind experience during Covid 19.

Amazing experience
Everything from start to the very end of our stay was just Amazing. The resort itself, attention to details were all top notch. Relaxing retreat!
This place is incredible! The property is beautiful, the food was unbelievable, and the service was delightful! This place was exactly what we were looking for to stay at for 4 nights. We rented a car ourselves and drove there. It took about 40-50 minutes from the airport. Roads are not that great halfway there, but they aren't bad. We were able to go and visit Altun Ha one day. We had a spa day another day (highly recommend the mud massage/bath). Breakfast/lunch/dinner were fresh and amazing. The menu is light, but the chef specials each day are killer. The fresh coconut water with rum was soooo good. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and have fun, this is the place. The internet/cell phone/wifi coverage is only in a few areas of the property. I had a great time reading a book rather then being on my phone all day long!! The owner Anna lives there and she has owned the land for 33 years. She is oh so sweet. And Melanie and Nikki treat you like family. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! This property and staff was beyond amazing! Everyone should stay at Belize Boutique Spa & Resort. I can’t say enough about all of them. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. It was truly was one the best vacation experiences. The resort is its own little vacation; it’s very relaxing, the pools are great, the landscaping is empicable, I couldn’t stop staring at everything. The food is also amazing and made to order; very fresh, and they help customize it for you. The dinner specials change daily. The tours are a wonderful experience!! David is hilarious; he was great on the cave tubing and zip lining tour. Our day trip to Caye Culker was perfect; the boat ride was so nice and we saw lots of wildlife, including dolphins, so it was an awesome experience. We even went into Belize City to check out the nightlife and a staff member stayed with us the entire time. Overall, I would have to say, the staff and owners treat you like family; they know your name, they always ask if they can help you. It was our first time to Belize and they helped make it so memorable. I will definitely be going back and will stay at this resort. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to vacation at this property.

Wonderfully eclectic and authentic
Let me first start by saying this was not our first time visiting and won’t be our last. Staying at Belize Boutique Spa begins with a warm welcome from Melanie who makes you feel right at home. Relaxing with a complementary drink in hand while getting a tour of the secluded grounds and all that the resort has to offer to kick off your visit. This is the perfect place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle. Whether you want to sit and relax by one of the pools, soak in the mineral pool or get a massage you will not find an more relaxing and comfortable place surrounded by the sounds of nature in the jungle. The accommodations are comfortable and welcoming while keeping true with the feel of Belize Boutique Spa. We were fortunate to stay in our own bungalow complete with a jacuzzi tub. Wrap up your day with a wonderful meal under the lights at the hotel restaurant. Walk the trails at night and look up to catch a glimpse of the kinkajou high in the trees. This place truly is magical and a wonderful place to unwind and see a different part of Belize. Thanks again Melanie and Nicky for making another birthday celebration so special!

A Remarkable Place
A remarkable place, an oasis set in lightly occupied coastal forest. The grounds are marked by very intriguing layout, and the decoration of both the public spaces and the private accommodations is equally intriguing. The very friendly and efficient staff contribute greatly to the enhancement of the experience. When I next have research to carry out in the area I will certainly stay at the resort again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! A must-see paradise resort!
HIGHLY recommend Belize Boutique Resort & Spa. Everything about the place was a true paradise. The resort is beautiful, secluded, full of lush greenery, and is overall the perfect stay for a couple. We stayed here from 3/29-4/2 for our wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The food is beyond amazing. And the privacy is so relaxing. We were one of two couples the entire time and we basically had the entire resort to ourselves. But even on a "busy" time, there are only 16 rooms so it can only get so crowded. The Jungle Villa we stayed in was absolutely amazing. Huge comfy king size bed in an AC room with shower and dresser space, and an out-of-room tub that was still within the villa. We also had a private patio area with seating all around a table. I could go on for days about the resort but I'll stop here. RECOMMEND!! Thank you to Melanie and the rest of the staff for being so friendly and accommodating to us on our dream trip.

Unique and amazing experience
The rooms are incredibly cool. Loved the treehouse dining and the fact this is a very small boutique hotel. We never saw more that a few other people at a time. . The staff were all so kind. Melanie surprised my daughter with a cake and decorated table to celebrate her valedictorian status. Drinks and food were SO good. Best vegetarian food I have tasted and rum punch is awesome. Loved everything about it and can't wait to go back.

This hotel is very unique. You do have to travel an hour on rough roads to get most places. But it is an intimate boutique, staff is very attentive, owners are lovely , warm people who attend to every need. Room decor and ambiance is very unique, jungle themed. Quiet, peaceful, remote location. Not crowded at all, small boutique hotel with only 16 rooms or so. We had the pool to ourselves most often, they have two pools. Belize is more primitive than places in cancun, its a totally different experience but one we enjoyed tremendously. Something unique and different from other carribean destinations.

A little insight I wish I had before hand...
I will start by saying that the resort staff is absolutely amazing! From there, I will give some details... We went for our honeymoon and booked many adventures through the resort (problem is you're at the mercy of their pricing because they have specific partnerships that they have developed), though the adventures were a great time. I was angered though, when I learned that some other guests had received: breakfast, dinner, spa treatments and ALL of their activities free of charge and we were paying the premium fees of the resort for every single one of these services. VERY UPSETTING!!! As far as the resort goes, it is very unique and there is nothing else that compares if the jungle experience is what you're looking to have. That said however, there is a lot of fixing up that needs to happen. There were some cracks in the floor/walls that would let "wildlife" in making for some bug chasing. I feel that it wouldn't take a lot to get these things patched up and would very much help with the experience. Food and drinks are fantastic! The chef Orlando is a stud when it comes to his creations! All of the wait staff and general grounds/facilities/guides/etc. are amazing. They were the reason we enjoyed the stay so much. Also, unless you rent a car to get around, you are locked to the resort because of where it is situated. The pools are great so it's not a bad thing, but I do wish I had known ahead of time. All in all a good stay but I felt it was too expensive.

Like you were staying in a friend's home
Very peaceful and first class service. Small number of rooms and guests made for family feeling. Used spa was great. Cave tubing is a must. River cruise is fun. Belize roads can be trying but our driver was skilled at missing most crators.
