Convenient location to Mattawa. Great parking options for ATVs and trailers. Dated but very clean and super friendly staff. Kitchenette with separate bedroom great option for multiple family members in other units. Beds comfortable and very quiet area.

Close to town.
Check-in was good. Owner greeted me at the door and came by our unit later to make sure all was well. They didn't have ice so we went into town and as we were going to town anyway, got ice. Close to town - Mattawa. Pleasant view overlooking Earl Lake. Comfortable beds.

Property was quiet/clean. Staff went above and beyond even offered me dinner from her own kitchen ( which I accepted and it was delish) as there was no restaurant on site. Grounds were very nice,

For $125, there should be in room coffee. Remote for tv probably needs a battery. Sanitation truck outside our room spewing out fumes and noise for 3 hours.

Thank you choosing to stay with us, the room coffee available on request, and the remote Doesn’t need any batteries as there is only ONE remote for the TV and also Satelite, if you were having issues and no sure how to get the TV going, you should have called the office and the sanitation truck was here for an hour and half NOT for 3 hours.

The descriptions and photos of the place are deceptive. We saw the room and didn’t stay. The cabins weren’t too bad but I’d stay clear. The motel section of rooms is dismal. And we immediately asked for a refund and she said lied about the process, that it had to be done through Expedia. But Expedia said that wasn’t true

Thank you for taking the time for this review and now let me tell what happened, you had booked a room with 2 double beds through this site and upon check in you came back to the office stating that you had booked a room with a kitchen but we had explained and also showed your booking that wasn’t for a kitchen room, you were also showed a brand new cabin that was available and asked if you would want to say in there for a night (were trying to accommodate you) even though that wasn’t our fault but you refused to pay the difference and asked for a refund. You been told to contact the Expedia as the booking came from there and they will look after the matter. We have more proof of your conversation in the office and can post that here too. Please tell the truth and don’t make stories on your own.

Clean accommodation with beautiful surroundings. Conveniently had a microwave and fridge. Great place to hang your hat for the night when travelling through. Coffee makers in the room would be a welcome addition.

Very clean and welcoming
Staff was very helpful And Felix le. We had an emergency and had to stay an additional night and they made it possible. They offered us extra towels and ice- lovely clean experience. Lots of parking as we also had a boat on a trailer!

Amazing views. Customer service was excellent. It is an older motel and is reflected in the price. Impeccably clean. Could use with a coffee maker and tv instructions but overall great value for the money.

The motel is located north of the town on Earl Lake. Our kids loved the water and the playground. Beds were very comfortable, and the area very quiet.

Average motel
A little bit dingy but the room itself was clean and comfortable. The window around the ac unit was not sealed so there was always air coming in but there didn’t seem to be any bugs taking advantage of that. I asked if the water was safe to drink because it had a somewhat strong sulfur smell and they said it was, but it still made me nervous so I stuck to bottled water. Everyone was super nice and the property was quite pretty!

This is an awesome property in a quiet environment, just what I needed to relax and get away from the city. Superb view of the nearby lake. Staff is friendly and always eager to help. The Wi-fi is a bit flaky at times, but nothing major. Had a very good stay.

Yes, we have room and the Inn
The only issue was the booking we made on Hotels.com did not reach the Welcome Inn, so we had no booking when we got to the Inn late in the evening. Fortunately there were many rooms available so it was not an issue. Place was clean, just a slight hint of stale cigarette smoke from days gone by, but otherwise functional and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Nice property, clean rooms, my room was booked by my daughter(bride to be). Went to check in, gave my name, as she is checking her bookings(she seemed to not see my name) I explained it was booked by my daughter and might be under her name. She found it, I put my things in cabin only to find out later she had put me in the bride to be s cabin. We had to switch everything around(I had even given her my driver s liscence.

You were asked in the office prior to check in if you had booked a room or a cabin, and as you mentioned that the booking was made by your daughter and might have been under her name and you both have the same last name that’s why it happened !! You were also asked if the help was needed, and the help was offered to your daughter to move your 2 items from the room too. If you are giving us 3 out of 5 just cause of this then thank you for your kindness !!

Nice spot on a lake
I booked a cabin between 2 camping stays in Algonquin, as the showers in the campgrounds were closed. The cabin was comfortable, with a nice view of the lake. There are barbecues for guests to use, outdoor tables and even a row boat you can borrow to go on the lake. A friendly lady checked me in a little early, which was truly appreciated. It was a really nice overnight spot and I do recommend it

Pros: Quick checkin, very clean room, and tons of parking. Negs: No screens on window so had to use a/c. Refrigerator had no ice section so couldn’t freeze cooler packs. In four nights first room without coffee maker and only 2 flimsy glasses.

Hi Guest, First off thank you for your feedback !! After you checked in we went to see you twice to make sure everything was fine in the room, the next morning you were asked if everything was fine in the room and you said yes, we do have coffee makers available here on request and if you had asked for one, that would have been provided to you !! You were also asked if you wanted to remove the a/c to have the screen on the window, you said you would let us know about it and you never did, just so you know before you reserve the rooms you could see what Amenities are listed there. You were here for 3 nights not 4 !! Thank you and have a great day !!

Great value!
It’s more than just a motel or inn. This place is spacious. I booked a lake view cabin by Earl’s lake for two nights. My family had a great time paddle boarding and fishing. The room was very clean and contained almost everything you need for a vacation. It was a great stay.
