Hey Matthew! Thanks for the review! I am so sorry to hear that the pool codes were not working most of the time. I would love to call the property to report the issue to them, but I'm unsure what you mean to say. Do you believe the lock system was faulty or needing replacement? Feel free to call us back and clarify so we can fix this for your next visit! Otherwise, I called you on the 7th and I never heard back. Aloha Mary, Thank you for your review. I'm glad you loved your condo, but I am very confused with the rest of your review. We sent your code at 3:55pm on the day of your arrival. We also sent you MULTIPLE emails ahead of time with the Arrival Instructions AND your property address in a special bolded section that states "Property Address" directly under your "Unit Number" with property name "Kauhale Makai." Our agent also sent you your property address on September 9th, at 6:42pm- days before your arrival. See excerpt below: Aloha Mary, The Address to check in at below: Kauhale Makai 938 S. Kihei Road Kihei, HI 96753 Office opens at 10am to 4pm. If arriving after hours you can register the next day. ----------- Maui Condo & Home is the rental company, and you booked a unit at the Kauhale Makai through Travelocity. That is the name of your property. If you were having issues finding your room even after receiving your code, you could have called our After Hours number again. Our late night crew is extremely helpful and would have been happy to assist you. I hope all of this brings clarity to you and our future guests. Maui Condo & Home is well prepared and has been commended for our extensive communication and response times- there is no way we would have left you stranded. Mahalo,

Management works very hard to make sure we are doing our best at communicating with our guests and through conversations and recollections, we show that you were indeed notified about the exterior work being done at the Kauhale Makai. With that said, I sincerely hope that your experience doesn’t discount you from staying at the Kauhale Makai ever again. By time you return to Maui, the Kauhale Makai could be done with renovations and be in pristine condition. Not staying here because of prior renovations could mean missing out on the beauty of the newly updated property right on the beach. Expedia was aware of the construction and they placed a notice on our listing so all potential guests would be aware. They also listed our units at a discounted rate as a courtesy to the guests who decided to book. We also made unavailable all rooms that would be directly affected. Again, we are very sorry that you did not see the notice and were not aware when you arrived. I also hope we were able to assist you in moving to another condo or helping in some way to make your stay more enjoyable. Aloha! We are so sorry that your stay was not as expected. Expedia is well aware of the construction on property and has the notice posted on the listing. There is also a discount for booking this property because of the construction. I apologize that you felt the condo was not clean. We do have our inspectors check the unit after the cleaner has cleaned, on the day of the guests arrival. If there was something that needed to be addressed we are happy to have it taken cared of, as long as you tell us about it. We also rent our condos out individually, so you can choose the unit that best fits your needs. We hope to serve you again during your next Maui getaway. Mahalo!
