Hotel doesn’t support 5*, barely 3 . The room isn’t clean and kinda old, mole hangers in closet, brown old towels, no toiletries. I stayed in different hotels before from cheap to higher class, but all of them at least have shampoos, lotion and conditioner. My husband and I’ve been in shock. I’ve been expecting more from RIU. That’s why didn’t bring my own toiletries. The robe brought on second day or so after few times asking. Although, hotel provided robe only for rooms with jacuzzi. Really??
Food! There are much food, but taste same, most Mexican. Same with desserts. Very poor quality. While you eat, there always lady mopping around you. It’s no relax or so. Or sometimes waitresses can yell to other one cross to you. Oh…. When you out from restaurant, only few feet away smoke area, so you can go through and smell smoking.
Guest most Mexicans with kids, so guest service provided for them….
There many pools, but no one warm.
So, I would say , maybe it’s good for those local people, but not who likes European good service. I would never back there. Waste my time and money!
