The staff was in creditably rude and very very unhelpful. They wouldn’t give me a refund even though my whole booking got messed up because of them and they wouldn’t let me have a refund on top the expensive room they put me in without letting me know was very dirty the floor was covered in red and yellow stains, the toilet was dirty, the curtins and the inside of the shower were dirty and the worst part is I had to use my suitcases to keep the door completely closed.

No coffee or breakfast items in the morning...shower was great...all else was just ok...havent checked but they took a 50 dollar deposit for items...made no sense...i will give them a week to credit back...

Rooms were dirty. Didn’t clean room/ fresh linens daily. Had to ask to clean/towels. Room infested with roaches. Never stay there again or recommend to anyone!!!!!

First off, I will say the staff were all nice. However, this was probably the most filthy place I have ever stayed.

The hotel had a cease and desist letter taped to their front door. The city of McKinney revoked their occupancy certification due to numerous health and safety issues. I asked for a refund and the man up front refused and got verbally aggressive. I left because I felt unsafe.

Run- don’t walk from this location.
sheets and pillowcase seemed extremely questionable with makeup stains. The fridge leaked water all over the floor- and was tacky and dirty. The shower had hair on the walls and the sink in my room plummeted to the floor nearly missing my feet. I ran down to the office to let them know and management accused me of damaging their property and filing charges. management never spoke to me to find out what happened or how this could have happened. They left me a message accusing me of damaging their property and a lawsuit if I didn’t pay for the repairs. If you can, spend the extra money and stay safe.

Good for what we needed
The interior of the room had been recently redone so it looked good. The outside grounds needed mowed and trash picked up. There was remodeling/construction going on out on the backside of the motel. Evidently they are remodeling all of the rooms so it's a process. I never saw the breakfast, but the IHOP is near.

Roach infested stay!
I should have read any reviews about the location I stay at, but I did not. The picture on Hotels.com is obviously an old or stock photo as the actual hotel looked nothing like the picture. The key I was given did not open the door to the room. The person on duty came down and could not open the door either. A maintenance guy came down and fixed the problem. From the time I stepped foot inside the room, I started killing roaches. There flies and crickets in the room as well. There were no lights on the stand next to the bed, so I had to be extra careful not bump into the bench that was against the wall or the base of the bed if I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The next morning the guy who cleaned the room was told about the roaches. When I got back to the room it appeared that whatever he sprayed did the job, but about 10 minutes later, roaches, flies, and another cricket had made its way under the door. The hotel needs to be shut down until they deal with the roaches and other insects that probably go from room to room. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone until the finish fixing it up so that customers can stay there and not have to deal with the pest and lack of lights next to the bed, and broken bathroom doors that stick near the top and will eventually come apart.

There was construction debris all around site. Had to pay $50.00 deposit due to "area" hotel was in; never have i ever had to pay a deposit when paying by credit card. Will never stay in this hotel again. Not sure I'll use Expedia in future either. Should have noted condition of property. Also, parking was scarce.

Be aware. Dirty hotel under construction and fraud
The hotel is totally under renovation and should be basically closed. There was old furniture, mattresses, gargabe all over the hotel. But that was not the worst thing. I paid for this 1 night stay via hotels.com. at the check in i was charged $50 that was supposed to be released after check out. They never released the deposit. I suspect this is their practice. Be aware and double check your deposits overe there

The hotel was under renovation, which I was not notified of. There was no ice provided anywhere in the hotel. I ended up having to park on the grass because all other parking was taken by cars, junk, garbage bins. Evidently, my room was supposed to have been renovated?? but other than the floor not having carpet (can't imagine what that would have looked like) and the sink and toilet working, it was not well done. The lock on the door was loose, and the safety bolt didn't even reach the door jam. I felt VERY unsafe and did not stay for the second night

Clean room. Staff informative. Didn’t try tv until returning to room late. tV didn’t work. I did not call for help since late. Outside door seemed flimsy and not sure if deadbolt worked. Only slept a few hours before leaving. Advised staff on duty. Although nice, would not want to stay again.

We had the room in the second floor. To go up the stairs you have to pass dirty surrounding. Dirty mattress/ tables / etc .. as you pass the corridor. I know they are fixing some of the rooms, but they should have contained their dirty stuff not all over the place. Garbage containers are filthy and full. Free breakfast was included, but it’s not even continental bfast. We were given 1 muffin and 1 granola bar for Bfast to go. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Under-construction, nails/screws everywhere, trash on ground, pool got shut down because of black mold, no sprinkler system in our room, but there were holes in the ceiling, door didn't shut properly, looked like it had been kicked in, tub had black film in spots, like it wasn't wiped out when cleaned, killed several bugs when we 1st got there, needs to be sprayed? Someone on the property was smoking pot. We would not stay here again.

Under renovations
Hotel room was renovated recently. However, propery is still under renovation. Surrounding parking spaces contained dumpsters and materials. Breakfast consisted of a muffin and granola bar presented in paper bag.

Well, the property is under renovation so a little messy I understand. however, the rooms are not ready for guests. no fridges, microwaves, Kleenex, lamps or clocks in the rooms. Had to even request for a trash can! Staff was very cold, not very welcoming. Would not recommend this hotel.
