Everything in the room was very old, with not even a single window. Bathroom tub was in a very bad condition with spots and scratches all over, dirty coffee cups, horrible pillows and not very clean. Thankfully we only had to stay one night.

Worst ever experience
I stayed in tower B room 626. Cockroaches and many other little flies were there. Bed conditions were horrible. I took pictures of pillow that contains blood spot even the white covering on pillow couldn’t hide it. I booked for 10 nights but slept only for 3 nights in this hotel. No room service at all.

Dated but comfortable place. Not good for disabled
Service was good but place was very dated. Toilets were dingey. Not good for disabled as steep hill. However bus service provided. Breakfast was top class.

Hotel cannot be trusted
I booked this hotel and paid via hotel.com as i always do as am a gold customer with hotel .com On arriving at the hotel myself and brother discovered we booked too many rooms. I called hotel.com to reduce my stay on one of the rooms from 5 night to 4 night and the said no problem but the need the hotel to approve the change. I spoke with the hotel Manager (Mr Jameel) he agreed that I can check out after 1 day and that 4 nights can be refunded to me. He confirmed this to hotel.com on the phone and they asked me to check out. On checking out the room was immediately sold to another customer however I returned to the UK and Hotel.com has refused to refund me as they said the hotel manager has refused to approve a refund despite promising to refund. I believe this is a scam as the room was sold to another guest and they also refused to refund me. This hotel should be avoided as they cant be trusted. They took my money and sold my room and didn't give me a refiund.

Over all the hotel is good , compared with price paid. Helpful staff. But the hotel is high place . There is shuttle bus to help for that but Incase it is not there will be not easy specialy for elder people. The elevator are very busy and smelly . The room was very good but need deep clean. Over all is good

Its very bad . I booked for 4 Personen Two twin bed but I get only Two Single bed for 2 Personen. Its live for 4 Personen difficult. Its is no Service . My room Numbers was 739. please Check it . Best regards Bhuyia

Beware! HOTEL is at a steep point even though they have continuous shuttles transportimg people. Food was very nice. NO Internet at all.the hotel does not listen or care to complaints. They simply states all 3 days internet does not work

Elaf Ajyad 2019
Elaf Ajyad is a homely hotel. My spouse and I enjoyed our stay there. The staff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet which came along with the bed is rich and good effort is made to introduce variety. The proximity of the hotel to the Haram is good and good effort is made to alleviate the discomfort of the elevated location of the hotel with the shuttle bus which brings guests downhill and up hill on return. Areas to improve on: 1. The hotel is quite old and some aspects need attention. These are the furniture, the drainage system, especially floor drains in bathrooms which requre good maintainance and cleaning. However, I opine that the antic nature of the hotel should be maintained. 3. The shuttle bus service should be improved such that there is always a bus downhill. A time program can be introduced.

Very good experience for the price they charge. No wifi in rooms. Not very far from Haram but u need to use 40-50 stairs each way.

للي حاب التوفير أفضل ماهو متاح بالمنطقة وخدمته جيد
الفندق لا بأس فيه من حيث الموقع، لكنه على مرتفع، الفندق موظفينه جيدين بالتعامل لكنه شبه قديم ونطيف. سعره روعة بالنسبة لموقعة وأسعار الفنادق المحيطة به.المطعم أكله حلو وأسعاره مقاربة لأسعار مطاعم الوقف والتي حولها بس ميزته مايجيك تسمم زي المطاعم حول الحرم حتى على وضعه سوف أزوره المرة المقبلة.

This is very much a no frills type of property. Please see it as just a place to get your head down whilst you are completing your Umrah. The beds were clean and bedding fresh. The rest of the room was quite dated. Bathroom in a twin room was very small with just enough room to stand up in, and only a handful of towels. The description of the hotel fails to mention it's location on a fairly steep hill. This is important as most taxi drivers will fail to find the turn off to go up it and you will have to walk up it yourself. Door staff are friendly enough and speak different languages enough to answer simple queries from different people. Reception and check in can be busy and chaotic with no queueing buy remember you are in Makkah after all. If you are on a budget this place is fine, but I would keep my expectations low for the price you pay

It was convenient but that's about it. Housekeeping didn't come once so we had no toiled paper nor any clean towels. I wont stay there ever again.

This is not 4 star hotel. Max 2 star. Location near Haram but in mountain slope. Shuttle is available 24 hours. No wifi in all rooms !!!. Overall not recommended hotel.

Highly dissapointed will not book this hotel again
Unfortunately. I am very disappointed from this property. I booked it in the middle of night just for my comfort during Umrah. Unfortunately i kept sitting for 6 Hours from 0300am Approx to 0900am on 25 June 2019 and was keep on asking hotel staff to check their system for booking confirmation.but they were simply refusing that we havent got any booking there we cant check you in. I have called Hotels.com four time during this time and got connected two time with Hotels.com team. At first time the lady kept me on hold and lost and in in the second time the lady kept me on hold and tried contacting Elaf Ajyad hotel but they were no answering to her so she said please make you check in somewhere else and i will get full refund for you. Unfortnately i am very upset just because of this whole hassle and my family is my more with me on this.

Staying at Elaf Al Jiad - A bad experience.
The hotel is located on a very steep hilly area, which is not comfortable at all. It's not worth the money I paid which is 200 US $. The. Bath rooms are very small and full of cocroches. All in all a bad choice and recommend anybody.
