Had such a lovely stay, while on our drive down to California. Very close to the border and located in the mountain, a short convenient ride down to the small town of Ashland. We enjoyed the back porch, parking, private tub, and complimentary continental breakfast. Will absolutely come back!

This was a great over night stop on a long drive. The rooms were quiet, despite being not far off the freeway. The staff was very nice. I will definitely be back another time.

We liked the quiet rustic charm of the property. The rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did have a bit of a problem getting the hot tub to work, but finally figured it out. We also had a problem with the water in the shower staying hot. Overall it was a nice place to stay and would recommend it .

The property needs updated. It was probably really nice in its prime but those days are long gone. Just needs some tlc.

Absolutely loved the room. Tub was really nice, balcony had a nice view. Room was spacious. Really enjoyed having a fireplace, not something most places have!

We spent just one night here, on our way home to Portland. The front desk agent was very helpful and welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and both had a very nice meal. We would definitely return if the situation arose.

Staff were excellent. So polite and helpful. I was amazed by the beauty of the natural mountain environment as well as by the hotel and my room itself. Pristine and comfortable. Immaculate. Exceptional value. Included a self serve breakfast featuring waffles and homemade breakfast buns . This stay at the Callahan was one of the loveliest experiences I’ve ever had in my vacationing. What a treat. Thank you!

Went for breakfast and there wasn’t even plates out. There was hardly anything there. The floors were stained. It needs an update. The room with the tub and fire place is really nice though. Staff was very kind but limited it seemed.

Zero to no communication. We booked a king room with a jacuzzi tub and fire place! Called to make sure. Called in day of to let them know we were going to be arriving late. Got to the property and we were finally informed that the tub in our room was not working. They offered to move us to a standard king room with a working one with no fireplace and move us the in the morning when one was vacant. Room was small and cramped. Went to the front desk in the morning to ask for our move the night shift didn’t relay the information to the morning shift so they had no idea that they needed to keep a room open for us. They came over to us while eating breakfast that they upgraded the other people to a better room to get us in our original room. Why would they tell us that. Why wouldn’t they upgrade our room due to the tub being broken. We moved rooms and were very happy with the room, but we felt like we lost a day of enjoying the room as our plan was to just relax in the tub and by the fire Very disappointing to say the least. Beds were comfy though!

In a great location but the service was poor they were obviously understaffed. We went for a holiday and they had a dinner package but otherwise the resturant was closed and that was not noted on the website.

Such a nice rustic lodge with wonderful service..all stall bent over backwards to help you! Expensive but great food and drinks in their restaurant..free kindling and firewood for your room right outside your door along with directions! Loved it and the jacuzzi tub! Great rocking chair porch. Ten minutes from Ashland and food places..would stay here over and over♥️

Quiet rooms. Nice staff. Enjoyed the fire place and snowy day. Restaurant could use some fine tuning. Out of several items But it was mid week and off season.

This was not a good experience at all. The front desk was incredibly unfriendly and almost like I was inconveniencing her by checking in. The individual in the morning was equally unfriendly. When I woke up I went to get in the shower and greeted in the mirror with a long black hair on my face. I am bald so it wasn’t me. I went to make my morning coffee to open a Keurig machine that doesn’t look like it was ever cleaned. The price was more expensive than the plaza area and out of the way. My complaint is not price, but customer service and cleanliness.
