Perfect location
This is a rustic hotel right in the center of all things medgugorie..location perfect..room vvv basic..no frills however it had very comfortable beds and duvets..rooms would need updating but again it was vvvvv clean...we stayed 2 nights and our room wasnt cleaned..we asked several times for it to be done..but it wasnt...had to ask at reception 2nd day for towels. Breakfast is a free for all...no structure...we had to sit with strangers...not good. Its a cold cut breakfast ie hams cheese etc with scramble eggs..done the job...would stay here again as the lady who owns it is really luvly and the welcome gift appreciated.

What an experience from booking and communicating to staying and feeling like family. Ivana was very diligent in helping us when questions arose. We had a Mario waiting for us at the bus station and drove to the border to get out lost luggage. Nicoli greeted us our first night and spent time with us tasting/explaining wine from the family winery. Which was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and honestly felt like family. For our first time in Herzegovina, coming from the USA it was seamless( except for our luggage being delayed 2 days)! The location was excellent and walkable to the main church and services. Upon leaving we went to split, Croatia and happened upon a wine cellar tasting. We actually got to meet Andreas the owner of the winery and hotel and felt so blessed to have had the encounter. When we go back to Medjugorje, we will not hesitate to go back to this hotel. Thank you family Caserica!!! Ivana, Nicoli, Nicolina, Matte, and Andreas!!! 🙏🙏🕊❤️ You all made our trip amazing!

A comfortable and pleasant stay, special thanks to Emma, Martin, Brano and Nikola. The last time we visited, our room did not have a TV but this time, it was furnished with a TV with local channels and some English programming. Like the new buffet style presentation for dinner, very open and spacious, pity that the half carafe of house wine which was previously complimentary with dinner is now only available for order off a wine/drinks menu. This was one of the unique and memorable aspects of the wine hotel concept and experience. The array of dishes and culinary offerings for breakfast and dinner have expanded and are quite tasty, but are not varied as before since menu combinations are repeated throughout the week and desserts were limited. Wine is included with lunch, but dessert is not anymore. There was plentiful fare when large tour groups were inhouse, but this scaled down significantly when the groups left. On mornings, the tour groups devoured most of the breakfast items, exhausting the eggs and juice and leaving only bits of cheese and cold cuts of ham. On one night after the departure of the groups, dinner consisted of plain white rice and hamburger patties, without the customary soup/starter or dessert, which was a little on the dry side minus sauce or veggies. The atmosphere in Medjugorje is eerily quiet for winter and the pace considerably slower, perhaps the place is missing the animated laughter and conversation of former manager Dado Primoric.

Wine Hotel Cesarica
This is a fantastic little gem in Herzegovina, cosy, clean and well maintained. Our room was comfortable and tidy, I slept so well that I did not even miss the TV in the room. The views look out to neighbouring properties, fields and the nearby church, and the sunsets were spectacular. Our meals were delightful - freshly prepared and served with much care and attention, not to mention the hotel's own locally produced wines which accompanied lunch and dinner. All the sights are within easy reach, a short walk or taxi ride away. I would especially like to commend the professional and hospitable staff at this family-run property - Brano, Ivan and Ivana. Despite our tiring schedule, we could always look forward to their warm welcome, our hot and sumptuous meals, and our comfy beds to rest and relax. Fantastic.

great hotel 5 minutes walking distance to church
My family, and I loved the hotel. The staff had exceptional customer service with us. Everyone was so kind and attentive with us. We could not have picked a better hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and when we visit Medjugorje in the future we will be staying here again.

A little further but worth it
The réception at the hotel for arrival is first class being received warmly by the owner and staff. The hotel is beautiful and allows the experience of the region's other expertise, wines. It has a well kept shortcut right to the church where most activities would be in town as well.

Great hotel
We had a wonderful time while staying in this hotel. The best was the manager called Dado. He made our stay very memorable. The hotel is about 400m from the church. It is clean and spacious.

Close proximity to the holy sites
Owner was very warm and welcoming. A variety of wines were served when we checked into the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. A short walk to the church and holy sites of Medjugorje. Breakfast and dinner were simple but sufficient for us. No complaints.

Hotel bem localizado e com bom jantar
O hotel conta com duas áreas bem distintas: uma antiga não reformada e outra nova ou reformada. Gostamos do quarto na área nova ou reformada. Os atendentes são muito simpáticos, com destaque especial ao Sr. Dado, que nos faz sentir muitíssimo a vontade. O wi-fi do hotel é bom. Ele é bem localizado, ficando perto da Igreja de São Tiago, pegando uma estradinha de terra. Na recepção recebemos um mapa explicativo. O chuveiro do quarto que ficamos precisa ser melhorado, pois deveria ter uma porta de blindex que a fechasse completamente. Como o blindex é só pela metade, o chão sempre ficava molhado. Gostamos do jantar, com sopa, prato principal, pão, sobremesa, vinho e licor!

Nice, quiet hotel...
The hotel is located in a really quiet area, it is clean and safe. Staff really really friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great....overall experience was good. I would suggest to put a few signs for making it easier to get there.....hard to find.

Excelente ubicacion, buen trato, recomendable
La ubicacion esta excelente, toma unicamente tres minutos a pie para llegar del Hotel al santuario de la Virgen, las habitaciones amplias, sencillas, limpias. El personal muy amable y servicial, te reciben con una copa de vino de la region. El desayuno es caliente y normal. Nuestra habitacion no tenia TV, no se porque, pero tampoco la solicitamos porque no la hibamos a usar.

The best wine experience so far!!!
What a wonderful find! we looked for years to visit Medjogori and staying at this hotel was the best compliment to our trip. I have visited many "wine" regions before and traveled around the world doing wine-tasting trips, but what a surprise when I arrived to hotel Cesarica!!! the have some of the best wine I ever tasted and the staff was great. they welcomed us with grace and so very helpful. Did I mentioned the world-class wine? you have to visit this enchanting place.... everything was just perfect, I will recommend to anyone traveling to Bosnia!

A perfect place to spend time in Medjugorje
What a fantastic gem of a hotel! An easy walk to the church and the hotel staff were wonderful. Dado welcomed us with joy and, because it was the low-season, devoted extra time to our care and comfort. A special treat was spending evenings in rich conversation with him over glasses of wine. Fantastic wine made by the hotel's winery. My wife and I felt truly spoiled! And the hotel is new with great accommodations and breakfast.

C était notre maison et pas un hotel
Pour notre perlinage à Medjugorje nous avons choisi cet hotel qui est proche des lieux saints à visiter et nous étions super content de ce choix car cet hotel dirigé par une famille est très accueillant ..dés le soir de notre arrivée on a été acceuilli chaleureusement et invité à la table de la famille. Cette excellente hospitalité nous a accompagné tout le long de notre séjour et on a oublié que nous étions dans un hotel et on a senti que nous sommes chez nous à la maison. Je recommande vivement cet hotel et n oubliez pas de goûter au vin rouge et blanc produit par la famille du propriétaire ..il est sublime. Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement Dado (Primorac) qui a excellé avec sa gentillesse , son hospitalité et l'aide qu'il nous a fourni..nous n hésitons pas une seconde à recommander à nos amis cet hotel ou plutôt cette maison chaleureuse. Wonderful new hotel
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were also the most comfortable we have had in two months of traveling Europe. If you go to Medjugorjie stay here for sure.
