Room with a view did not disappoint, clean and comfortable. Driving on to the site can be tricky if someone is coming up from parking area. Parking is limited, but has a overflow area in a dirt area. Didn’t tried the free breakfast. If you can’t do stairs this might not be your place as it doesn’t have an elevator.

The adjacent walking trails along the coastline wells awesome! The WiFi was weak and cell service was also, but that wasn’t our point of being there, the rest of the experience was great!

Excellent hotel!
Excellent hotel right on the water. Staff is always so friendly and helpful every time we go here. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you could need. The fireplace and bathtub are perfect. This hotel is so close to everything. The beds are soft With lots of blankets and pillows. The furniture is comfortable. TV works great and there are always movies available to watch. Thick bathrobes are provided for you during the stay, and I love that. This is definitely a gem!

Had an absolute gorgeous time the room was so cozy and the jetted tub was marvelous. The staff were extremely welcoming and the breakfast was great.

Loved the room and king bed. Lotsa pillows. Pretty stingy with bottled water. And coffee packs. No elevator to upper floors. Not good for old folks. Would stay again, on first floor.

We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to stay again next time we are in the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area. Pros- *Location- the views are stunning and there is a beautiful walking trail you can catch right across the hotel's driveway. The trail hugs the coast and is a perfect way to start a visit to the area. *Hot tub and fireplace - If a room has one of these items I'm thrilled. Our room had both with a large window looked out to a gorgeous coastal view. It was sublime. *Staff- Everyone was friendly and they explained clearly everything we needed to know. *Complimentary coffee and breakfast - It's a light breakfast but just knowing we can easily get some coffee and food in our system before we get going was great. Cons- *Noise - Some of the other guests staying at the hotel were very noisy. Even when guest aren't being particularly disruptive those with noise sensitivity might experience a challenge with this hotel. The walls are thin and the room's balcony is shared so you can hear your neighbors even if they're speaking at a normal volume. There is a horn sound every 30 seconds from rh harbor I think but I'm not sure. It's not terribly loud if the doors are closed. The hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. *Mattress - It was a little firm for me. *Shaking- When other guests ran up and down the stairs we could feel it in our room. It didn't bother us a whole lot but might be hard for other people.

With today's tech heavy environment, they need to have usb or desk/table top level power plugs. I had an ADA accessible room and the only accessible power were shin level plugs other than the one in the bathroom. A quick fix for all guests would be to replace the lamps with power/usb access rather than forcing them to the floor level as many do not travel with extended length cables. other than that, lovely view. i enjoyed the fog and the fog horns.

North cliff was a fantastic discovery. We spent one night while on our way up north. Room was immaculate. View was incredible. We were greeted by Scott at the front desk. He was extremely professional and welcoming. I also love, that they are striving for sustainability. Which we all should. Other reviewers mentioned fog horn and how they could not sleep. They must be incredibly light sleepers. We kept our glass door open and left the floor fan on and did not hear anything that would have caused a disturbance. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, very welcoming. They even let us check in early when he realized our room was clean and ready. The location was good, though the fog horn was a bit loud for me during the night, but my husband was not bothered. We also enjoyed the take and go breakfast/snack food that they had ready in the mornings. And I LOVED the trail to the cliffs overlooking the ocean!

Really nice place. Super clean and well-maintained. Fabulous views and nice little balcony for sitting outside. Only downside is we had a very old mattress and there is no A/C. Top floor rooms are pretty warm and there is no easy way to lock a window or door in the open position at night. Still, we would return!
