We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. We were able to travel from here to many other locations as the bus depot was about a three min walk. Perfect location for exploring Taormina. The staff, especially Antonella, Mateo and Mario were excellent. Antonella made us feel welcome and shared stories of the hotel with us. Mateo and Mario catered to our needs at breakfast and throughout our stay.

Excellent location and very helpful and friendly staff. Such a short walk to the town centre, would highly recommend. I travelled with my family (Wife and children aged 5 and 9) and it was perfect!

The staff are amazing! Welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is included and included pasties, eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt etc. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Stay Here! You will feel right at home.
An absolute highlight of our trip was finding this hotel. Two streets away from the tourists giving you a chance to breath with a great view. We absolutely cannot say enough about how outstanding the entire team was at this hotel. We used almost every aspect from laundry to reservations to getting a car to the airport. They were warm, friendly, helpful, and overall fantastic. Our room was cozy but pleasant. The breakfast is excellent. The garden outside is beautiful. They have a hotel cat who is as sweet as can be and will be found sleeping in the sun. They have many levels of rooms with different views. Whatever you choose I promise it will be well worth the stay. We can't thank the team enough for their hospitality to our family. You truly made our trip special.

A pilgrimage to Taormina brought me back after many years. Villa Svizzera is one of the few remaining authentic family owned villas. It is tastefully furnished, relaxing and homey. Close to souvenir shops, restaurants and the Greek theater. Very happy I chose Villa Svizzera!

This hotel is conveniently located to the centre of town and the bus station. It has a lovely walk-down patio and a number of rooms have sea views.

So noisy as it’s located by main road. Not just the noise from vehicles, the staff room is just next door to the room on ground floor and they opened and closed the door making so much disturbance to your sleep during midnight. Try to avoid.

The Svizzera Pensione
Staff was wonderful and very willing to help. Room was small, but sufficient. Breakfast was good and had a view. There are a lot of stairs if you have heavy bags.

This is a wonderful hotel with stunning views. The breakfast was very substantial and the front desk could not have been more accommodating. La Pensione Svizzera is in a quiet, but central location to the shops, restaurants, and beach.

Great location, accommodation and staff.
Great location. Room was clean, comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was good on a lovely patio with a wonderful view of the bay. Staff could not have been more helpful - held traffic whilst I parked !

We did not like this property. We thought it was too far from the area where all the action is, however it was very close to the cable car. The breakfast was not hood just average and the building was dated. The staff tried by being kind and helpful but it just wasn’t what we were looking for! It was clean.

Staff was very helpful with setting us up with our room. Massimo was wonderful and recommended and made reservations at an amazing restaurant. The location is very good and close to the main town center and a walk down to the beach or close to the gondola. The breakfast staff is helpful and the front desk allowed us to keep our luggage there while we went for a walk. Overall a fantastic stay at this cute little spot as the staff made our visit memorable and enjoyable.

This was our least favourite property out of 6 different stays of our Sicily trip. Although there was nothing glaringly wrong there was nothing special about our acommodation. The room and bathroom were small with non descript decor but it was clean. The room did have a view of the ocean. The garden patio area was lovely. Breakfast was ok.

Friendly and convenient
We enjoyed our three-day stay here at La Pensione Svizzera. The breakfast was varied and excellent in every way. We paid extra for a balcony and had a pleasant view of the sea. Although this room lacked a/c, we were able to leave the French doors open and get a breeze.

Great stay
Good location. A bit tricky to get there and no parking provided. Close to bus station for excursions, aerial tram, shopping,& restaurants . Took a cooking class at a nearby restaurant lots of fun

Amazing hotel, felt welcome from the minute we walked in. Lovely outdoor area and great breakfast with sea views. Walkable to the town in minutes, shop just outside and bus station very handy at a 2 min walk away. The funicular to the beach is 1 min walk away. Property beautiful and spotlessly clean.

This boutique hotel is a hidden gem in Taormina! Just a 5 minute walk to get to Corso Umberto (main strip), and the hotel overlooks the beautiful waters and beaches. The staff upon arrival were extremely friendly and provided us with a map of Taormina with recommendations and directions to get around. We brought a car and the parking directions were easy, we were told by front desk staff to park in a lot just up the street (5 min walk). The hotel is located right beside the chair lift that takes you down to all the beaches. The rooms were very clean and the wi-fi worked perfectly. The hotel only has 25-30 rooms but has a beautiful outdoor terrace where they serve free breakfast every morning. We will definitely stay here again!

The property is well located to Taormina town. Close to chairlift that takes you down to the beach.Many restaurants close by.
