전용해변이 있다는것에 이 호텔을 선택했는데 탁월한 선택이었습니다 아침조식을 바다를 바라보며하고 후에 느긋하게 해변에서 즐길수 있 습니다 호텔이 바다 바로 앞이라 파도소리듣는것도 좋았 습니다 아침식사 식단은 생각보다 단조로웠습니다 찻길을 15분정도 걸어서야 케이블카를 탈수있는곳에 갈수있는것은 조금은 위험하고 불편했습니다 넓은주차공간과 바닷가앞에 위치한점은 정말 맘에 들었습니다

a scenery from the bed in the midnight
We stayed the hotel from 26th to 28th July 2016. Once the window opened we faced magnificent Mediterranean sea with sound of wave. In the midnight when we were awaked by time-lag, partly shaded moon and its shine to the shore made us nothing but watching it without words forgetting travel-fatigue. We were in different world from being in the urban a few days ago. Any reviews are not more impressed than a scenery from the bed in the midnight. Foods in dinner were one of best Italian cuisines.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lido Mediterranee. The staff are attentive and professional, and the hotel Is managed well and efficiently. Outside terrace is beautiful and I love the vintage vibe of the rest of the amenities. Beautiful sea views too.

Stay was incredible. The service we received was 10/10. The staff were so nice and always helpful. Only downfall was the parking situation was a bit annoying. Regardless beautiful and I would stay here again !

The hotel was in a privileged area, with beautiful views. The vintage surroundings and decor transport you back in time to the golden era of movie stars. The staff was really attentive and the breakfast was bountiful. I highly recommend it.

Super Lage! Traumhafte Sonnenaufgänge. Herrliche Kulisse beim Frühstück. Gratis Liegen am privaten Strand. Bushaltestelle vis a vis Hotel für die Fahrt ins Städtchen Taormina. Verschiedene Möglichkeiten am Strand Mittag zu essen. Das Hotel ist zwar in die Jahre geraten. Aber die Lage ist traumhaft und entschädigt dafür. Wir würden das Hotel wieder wählen.

The hotel is outdated, the drain in the room shower is clogged and I've got a nail fungus. The hotel is full of moskitos and I ddin't sleep all nights. The breakfast was very poor for 4-stars hotel. The was only one thing that really great - font desk clerk MonaLisa. She was very friendly and helpful with all our requests.

Prachtige lokatie. Net buiten de drukte van Taormina Mare. Toch minder dan een kilometer lopen naar de kabelbaan naar Taormina. Kamer met dakterras met prachtig zicht over de baai. excellent value beachfront retreat with great serv
Great beachfront retreat. See and listen to the sea from most rooms. Incredibly solicitous staff at the front desk, in dining area and on the beach. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Very good value in expensive Taormina area. When we stayed in Mid October the beach and balcony area was shaded because of the cliffs behind- which must apply to many beachfront properties in the area. So plan on doing swimming and sunbathing before 2 or 3pm. The property is almost a kilometer walk to the cable car that goes up to central Taormina along a beautiful but dangerous road with no sidewalk. This distance provides some relief from the crowds in many parts of Taormina

The staff are wonderful and service second to none. A rather dated property but this adds to its charm. The terrace overlooking the beach where guests eat breakfast is lovely Some variation in breakfast would have been welcome perhaps.

A 4* hotel that needs to live up to its rating.
An older property. The public rooms are kept nice and clean but the rooms are in need of new furniture and plumbing. The TV set (very small - is still an analog model) We were told we were getting an update but I couldn't see what the difference was with the room I had booked (Photo, amenities) The breakfast is plentiful but average. There were no takers for the scrambled eggs, bacon, and what looked like mini hot dogs. It did not look appetizing at all. The fruit except for the kiwi all came from cans. On the plus side, every one there was very helpful, professional and friendly. The gardens are well kept with beautiful and interesting plants we had not seen before. The view of the sea is magnificent, especially at sunrise.

We enjoyed the beach, chairs and umbrellas provided by the hotel. Loved the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. Dinner very good also. Loved our time in Taormina.

Great Location, however
The good thing about this hotel is the location, however, this hotel built in 1968 is so far beyond repair and maintenance that only a total renovation or a complete rebuild would have us considering returning. For example, after we changed from our first room at 60 Euros per night extra, in the second "upgraded" room the shower leaked, the toilet was nearly impossible to flush (my wife was unable to push the flush mechanism leaving me the duty) and to used the toilet you had to either put your feet in the shower or sit sideways. The decor was without a doubt the original floor, doors, and furniture from the 1968 build. The only newer item was the 20" tube tv from the 1980's?????!!!! The common areas are as dated and worn out as the rooms. This is a terrible hotel. There was no amount of effort that the staff could exert to make up for the location and their obvious frustration came through at the breakfast service when my wife was yelled at for getting a coffee 10 minutes early and we were stopped from taking a coffee and croissant to our room to enjoy on our balcony. For anyone reading this please understand we have spent two beautiful weeks in Sicily. We've rented a car and toured the island stopping in many locations, all were enjoyable with beautiful scenery and people. We've loved it!!! We have written this hoping to help you make the smart decision to NEVER book at this hotel.

We did enjoy our stay. We knew it was an older hotel and that was part of its charm the & staff very helpful. One area we would suggest improvements is the breakfast. To match the glorious surrounding the food was quite basic. Not many hotels serve tinned fruit so local fresh fruit would have been so much nicer On the whole a hotel we would be happy to recommend.

Hotellet er skønt belligende helt ned til havet og har egen strand. Hotellet har liggestole og parasoller til fri afbenyttelse. Vandet var helt klart. Værelset var stort med fransk altan. Vi åbnede altandøren og nød en flaske rødvin med udsigt til havet. Morgenmaden var ok.

Beautiful location but bad hotel
to check in on this The hotel was like jumping back to the 70's and not in a good way. The smell in our room was like someone’s grandmother had dropped a perfume bottle on the floor and it was like the same grandma decorated it when she was young. We found 2 half full liquor bottles in our minibar (the liquid had disapparated because it was so old!) we started going through the dates of the remaining drinks and found many of then had gone out over 1 year ago !! And this is a four star hotel! what a joke! The standard is more like 1 star. However, the good thing about the hotel is that it is located on the beach with free sunbeds as well as the restaurant staff were super nice and the food good. The hotel is very off so if you want to experience Taormina center then this is not the right accommodation. (Taxi 15$ oneway and bus once an hour) thankfully we only had one night here. definitely not worth the money!
