The bed did not have a blanket ! The heating was almost not existent ! The safe did not work! Pillows of very poor quality! Television came without instruction and was not working !

Dear Mr Martines Gaetano,we are really sorry about all this problems you had. I was not working but my colleague informed me. I would like to say that we brought you right the way 2 blankets .About all the other problems we were not informed, you never asked for our help. We didn't know that the safe was not working or the television, or the heating that is complitely brand new, . We have a door man for all the problems that a client can have also during the night. If you would have asked for help we could fix everythng becouse everything is working in that room. We rented that room the day after for 3 nights and evrything is working, so please if you will come back let us know if you have a probleme. Please give us a way to fix it. Thank you so much

Cute boutique hotel very close to ferries. We visited Stromboli for the day. Free street parking in front of the hotel. Very helpful & delights English speaking staff, able to recommend local sites. Beautiful views of the sea. Recommend seeing the Milazzo Castle: large, partially restored containing art exhibit, venue for local theater. Would return, highly recommend!!

The hostess with the mostess.
We had an unexpected overnight stay in Milazzo due to some rough seas, but we couldn't be happier to have stayed at La Chicca Palace. Giovanna was so kind, made some great booking for restaurants for us, and also makes a fantastic Aperol Spritz. Thank you so much for looking after us so well.

A charming boutique hotel with outstanding food
An outstanding boutique hotel with vey nice staff and a surprising good restaurant. We stopped in Milazzo on our way to the Eolian island. The hotel is two steps from the ferry port. This would be by itself a good reason to choose it. But there is much more: the hotel is charming and full of attention to the customers. Worth visiting on its own merit. And the restauaran is fantastic. In particular, their "Apericena" offers for a really moderate price a huge variety of sicilian food, enough for twice the people. Specifically, their steak tartare is one of the best we ever had. And he wine list is just remarkable: I pity you i your are a non-drinking person...

Dated hotel lacking basic amenities
Dated hotel and dated rooms. Internet in room did not work Terrible breakfast served in hotel foyer. There was no hot water on the last morning of our stay.

Dear Mr Raymond and Mrs Caterina, you spent here several days and each day I was here talking to you, we were having small conversations, I was always asking you if everything was fine and you were always answearing that everything was fine, you were smiling to me. our hotel is not dated becouse we work on it constantly, when you were here we were fixing the new restaurant and the new implant of air condition. The morning of your check out we had problem with the hot water, we fixed it in really few hours but you were not here anymore. In real life things get broken, problems happens, nobady can help it, the important thig is how we manage problems, how we take care about them and we were very very fast to fix the problem and we offer you all the extras for the inconvinient. The concierge gave us exceptional service, was very welcoming, suggested restaurants and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom were quite nice and it was located very close to the ferry terminal. Would recommend!

Lovely hotel near to port
Great hotel very near to the port where the ferry drops off/picks up. Lovely spacious room (junior suite) with jetted bathtub and four-poster bed. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely return in the future.

Our stay got off to a rocky start. First, this four star hotel's parking was a .5 km away, and wasn't opened until we spoke with the reception @ another hotel. NOT ideal in rainy conditions. Second, the amenities on Hotel.com show Self-service laundry facilities in the hotel, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, as we had a lot of laundry to do. I don't know if this was the hotel's error or Hotel.com's error, but it was another unfortunate experience. The staff did try very hard to make it right. They found a laundry close by and called for the hours. The only problem there was those hours weren't really adhered to, so we ended up waiting an hour just to begin washing and vying for machines. As to the hotel room itself, we had wanted a little treat, so we booked a junior suite. The room was large, but not particularly luxurious. It did have a whirlpool that seemed to work well. Breakfast was fairly good, eggs to order, good coffee. Again, the staff did try very hard, but all in all, not the experience we had hoped for, nor what we have experienced in other 'four star' hotels.

We stayed at La Chicca before catching the ferry in Milazzo to Panarea. Giovanna and the staff were so helpful. Everyone spoke excellent English, which was really wonderful for two Americans who don't speak Italian. Giovanna gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit and even found us a driver to take us all the way from Milazzo to Palermo (a 2.5 hour ride) for a great price. When we returned from Panarea to Milazzo, we stayed at La Chicca again and it felt like coming home. The rooms are unique and very clean and the staff provides excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel, and when I return to Milazzo, I will always stay at La Chicca.

Top Lage für Fähre zu den liparischen Inseln
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge zu den liparischen Inseln. Nur 5 Minuten zum Hafen. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und gepflegt. Direkt am Hotel kann man in einigen Straßen umsonst parken. Spätestens wenn die Geschäfte um 20 Uhr schließen, sollte sich ein freier Parkplatz finden lassen. Mehrere Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe am Hafen. Der Ort bietet - im Vergleich zu anderen Städten auf Sizilien - wenig interessantes. Daher ist eine späte Anreise zu empfehlen, wenn man erst am nächsten Tag einen Ausflug auf die Inseln macht.

We had an initial problem with water dripping from the A/C vent in our room, but the owner had it fixed immediately the next day, and gave us a bottle of wine for our trouble. Very nice staff.

tolles Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage zum Hafen
Wir nutzten das la Chicca Palace von 19. - 21.07. als Stützpunkt für einen 2-tägigen Aufenthalt im Rahmen von Ausflügen u.a. auf die Äolischen Inseln. Unser Zimmer # 305 im 3. OG hatte ein großes Bad, einen begehbaren Schrank und lag auf unseren expliziten Wunsch hin zur Straßenseite mit Balkon mit Blick auf den Hafen. Die Fenster sind in geschlossenem Zustand nahezu schalldicht, man hört also fast nichts. Die Lage in Milazzo ist perfekt, man kommt in 5 Gehminuten zum Hafen (Bootstransfer nach Lipari etc.) und zu einigen guten Restaurants an der Uferstraße. In dieser guten Lage sind Parkplätze bis 20.00 Uhr selten, aber die Chefin, die uns ganz reizend empfing, hatte hier gute Tipps parat und tauschte mit uns nach ihrer Heimfahrt sogar den Parkplatz. Chefin und Angestellte sind sehr freundlich, es wird englisch deutsch gesprochen. Die erbetene Empfehlung bzgl. Abendessen war ebenfalls gut, das Panza Kama ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Am 2. Tag waren wir daneben im Gambero Rosso. Beide Lokale haben sehr gute Küche und Preise im leicht gehobenen Niveau, aber in Anbetracht der Qualität war alles den Preis wert. Auch das Frühstück ist für absolut ausreichend, Tipp: Cappu, Espresso sind kostenlos bestellbar.

Discreto hotel. Il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile. nonostante questo da dire che appena entrati in stanza (junior suite) abbiamo notato che non era pulita al 100% (il resto dei giorni hanno pulito benissimo) e cosa più importante non c'è molta manutenzione. Per un 4 stelle e soprattutto per una suite cura dei particolari è fondamentale, invece abbiamo trovato in diversi punti muri con crepe e incrostazioni. Anche la vasca idromassaggio avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione.
