Fair price but you get what you pay for. Negatives: Rather run down. Cheaply decorated and furnished (think Dollar Store supplied). Supervisor entered our suite unannounced without knocking while we were inside shortly after check in. Lots of restrictions such as no portable sound devices to be used including phones for music even though the apartment block is noisy. Positives: Good location to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Decent cable options.

Please put the correct picture of property and name of property instead of putting picture of some other property. This property did not match the description and under renovation. Upgrade work is going on lots of noise. Not provided the comforter and bedding for sofa bed.

Great place to stay, very clean and centric! Only negative is that the bed is not too comfortable and the pillows are very thin so just take your own. Also you can definitely hear everything that goes on, on the outside of the building which is something that they can’t control but that didn’t bother us since we were out and about. We will definitely stay here again!

This property is so old and outdated and should not be rented unless they make major changes. The windows don’t close, the AC is on 24/7 and can’t get the room to cool down below 78 which makes the apartment super smelly and we believe there was mold in the living room wall which is also the sleeping room wall. Will definitely not recommend staying here. I can’t believe Expedia would list something in this condition. Very disappointed especially for that price.

Not luxury by any means especially when you look around the tall skyscrapers around the area. But it was affordable and convenient with free parking. Beach is 2 min walk which is excellent as there was no parking at the beach. Good dining options within 5 mins walk. Property management was good as when we had an issue with parking they helped us immediately via phone. Apartment itself is small and old school but ok for short stays. For the price paid we couldn’t have done better and we were pleased with the stay.

I didn't have a great experience during my stay. The sliding door wouldn't close all the way or lock. It meant there were mosquitos inside and I woke up with bites. The bathroom had hairs on the floor and toilet, which was not great. The lighting was harsh and the property was pretty beat up. It was a place to sleep, but not more than that.

Property was clean and ideally situated, felt safe A bit noisy. Recycling bins were completly absent on the property which was a surprise for us.

The location was great and walkable !! The unit was nice and the internet worked wonderful!! The issue was safety and communication !!! The windows hod holes with clear tape over them and two windows did not lock at all. I called and they said I would be fine instead of accommodating my daughter and I . So I basically got no sleep for fear of our safety . All they said was they were repairing windows .

Didn’t get the room that was in the photos online with the balcony i got the bottom floor by the trash dump Hair was everywhere and I paid the cleaning fee per stay the refrigerator was dirty with a open cup inside The floors was filthy & bathroom was dirty with roaches crawling around gnats was all over the apt noisy all night until 3 am people was hanging outside my windows talkin thru out the 2 cars reving up their engines about 1am the twin bed was broken the pull out couch was broken the bed was very hard and uncomfortable only 1 washcloth was available to use.

Nous avons bien aimé aller à la plage et à l'épicerie à pied. Malheureusement, la piscine était en rénovation mais on peut vous dire qu'elle sera très belle. Besoin beaucoup de réno (porte patio qui ne ferme pas, tape au plafond, couloirs délabrés...)

At mostly every place the checkout time is 11am but ok at Sunny Isles Apartments it’s 10am. So already you are leaving an hour earlier than you normally would anywhere else then ontop of that the cleaning crew shows up at 9am with shopping carts and about a crew of 20 people all over the building on every floor so as a guest you feel pressured like you have to run out of the place because they are literally stalking right outside the door of every apartment. So if the checkout time is 10am which is already an hour earlier tha. Any place else why is the cleaning crew showing up at 9am ? Why not show up at 10am which is the actual checkout time when people are supposed to leave instead of trying to pressure people into rushing out of the place before 10am ? They charge you 35 dollars per hour if you need to stay last 10am but yet they don’t give you 35 dollars an hour back for rushing you out of the place before 10am. People do not want to have cleaning crews stalking outside an hour before their checkout time when already the checkout time at 10am is earlier than any place else. Try to bring this up to the lady that says is the manager and she doesn’t even want to listen to you and instead tells you that the cleaning crew can show up to the property at anytime they want and to not tell her how run her business was rude wanting to argue instead. Tells you all you need to know about her customer service skills. Say checkout is 9am then instead of 10am if you are going to do that

TOO noisy, not possible to get some sleep even at 2 am. Walls are so thin you hear the neighbors talking even if they’re not speaking loudly. They also got cheap windows so you can hear everything outside, the garbage truck at 6 am, people talking outside, renovation downstairs, roof repairs, etc. It was horrible. However, the appartement was clean.

The property is in the best area in Miami. The property itself is nothing fancy but it’s affordable, clean and safe. Parking is easy and assigned which is a plus. The only thing that can improve is there is no TV in the bedrooms to watch while laying down before falling asleep. Also, people should not be knocking on your door 15 minutes before checkin and should wait until after the 10am checkout time.

The balcony door did not open or close properly, the bathroom window was not able to be closed at all, the bathtub was peeling, the pullout couch is definitely not for two people to sleep on. The property needs renovations.

If using your GPS to find the property bear in mind that you will not see a sign for Sunny Isle at the address that is given. You need to drive up the driveway and go down the backside in order to find your rental. The backside resembles an inner city dwelling area. Sort of scary from my perspective. We were on the second floor which required a walk up some metal stairs with a sticky handrail and a trip down a hall with apartment windows facing the hallway with fenced openings down to the first floor. Once you get the door to the apartment open you will find a clean kitchen and living room with a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a roll-away cot in the closet (I believe this is the "single bed" described in the Expedia marketing page). Air fresheners adorned the electrical sockets. The bathroom is very small and the door did not shut completely so that your knees nearly hit it when sitting on the commode. The shower is quite slippery so I suggest you put a hand towel - the only one available - on the floor so you prevent slippage. There was plenty of shampoo and conditioner and 3 half-dollar sized soaps available. Towels can be found in the closet with the roll-away. The kitchen had all the basic necessities but was really minimal. No silverware drawer so it is stored in the cupboard next to the stove. The occupants of this facility seem very nice and my initial fears about the "neighborhood" for this specific building were not warranted. For the price its okay

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the MiaRentals apartment. It certainly could have been better. My biggest issue with with the front door not having a working safety bar lock and only a deadbolt that could be open with a code from the outside. The power outlets were old and didn't hold power cords effectively. It also would have been nice to have paper towels in the kitchen. In any case, I would consider staying there again.
