The property was not habitable. The fabric on bed and love seat was stained and burned, the furniture destroyed and smelled like a 200 year old ash bucket.

Upon arriving in the office, the clerk was not a people person. He asked if I wanted a smoking room and I said no. He then asked me again.."are you sure you don't want a smoking room". Again, same answer. I asked if there was room on the second floor, he said no. There absolutely no cars in the parking lot. When we opened the door to our room, we immediately noticed a stale smell of smoke and/or milldew. I went to the office and explained that and turned in my key. I asked for a refund or partial refund and was told no. We found another hotel.

It was damp smelled by the light bulbs were all burnt out they would not give me a late check out and no one was there or checking in after me. It was a very early 1030 check out. Bed were very uncomfortable. Everything is old and run down

Heat was shut off when we arrived room was about 30* bedspread smelled, under the bed looked like a trash can, found a bug on dirty toilet, would not use shower as is, light bulb missing over mirror bathroom, towels were like sandpaper,wall plug did not work, tv was set on a porn channel. The only thing that was clean were the sheets so we decided to make the best of it, but I sure would like a refund if that is possible. We have a niece that lives in the area and she told us at the funeral parlor that Wesley Inn is called "cockroach inn" in Middletown

Tired Hotel in desperate need of upgrades!!!!!
Although this Hotel has seen better days and is in a desperate need for upgrades, I was very satisfied with my overall stay. PROS: The Bed was very comfortable, NO noise from neighboring Rooms through the walls or ceiling, the A/C Unit worked well, the Room and Bathroom were clean with fresh Towels every day, WiFi worked well and plenty of Hot-water during shower. CONS: The dirty Carpet, put-dated Furniture and nasty Bed Comforter in my Room need replaced . . . the whole facility needs upgraded. The Hotel sign by the Main Road at front of building infers there are 140 TV Channels of your choice . . . My Room had four (4) TV Channels, One Channel was static with white noise, Two Channels from local TV Stations and One Channel showed nothing but PORNOGRAPHIC 24/7. Would I Recommend . . . 50 / 50

Bad from the get go.
It started with a Desk Clerk that was uncooperative and ended with a mini fridge that was not plugged it. In between there were missing light bulbs, no ice machine, no coffee machine, missing towels and a cleaning staff that kicked us out five minutes before check out time. Never again.

Terrible hotel
This place is disgusting and dirty. Couldn't stay the night. Went to a Howard Johnson Express instead and wasted $75 on this junk. No refund. An additional $84 was spent at Howard Johnson. Why would you even advertise this place? When I told them I booked it online, they were shocked as they provided an hourly rate. Only good thing about this hotel, they provide the number to the Narcotics Anonymous Hotline on the plexiglass at the front desk.

Absolutely horrendous. I stepped into the office to check in, before even asking my name the attendant said they did not have a reservation for me, after I booked online & had a confirmation number. They barely spoke English - had a very difficult time communicating. After going rounds about my reservation - he asked me if I was "(my name)" he then said I was all set. VERY disorganized and unhelpful. Not to mention the hotel room was disgusting. The toilet was dirty, shoes left behind under the bed, and unvacummed carpets - clearly. Thank god we only had to stay for roughly 12 hours.

FILTHY, the door lock was flimsy, the "100+" TV channels consisted of hardcore porn and QVC, and the bed and carpet had enormous lumps - I was scared to try to figure out what they were.

Just needed a place to sleep and change/bathe
I was nervous at first because their were some unsavory types that live at the hotel hanging out, I was told to make sure my room is in the front I guess some back rooms have had bedbugs. I was only staying one night and the room was clean I did inspect the bed pillowcases for bedbugs no evidence. I saw dry drops on toilet seat luckily I had my Lysol wipes. Otherwise my needs were met there was a mini fridge with freezer, tv I didn't use I did use iron and ironing board there wasn't a closet but a rack in the corner for my coat and wardrobe bags etc, tables and lamps blow dryer on wall I didn't use. The bed was oh so comfortable and I slept good hitting snooze like three times after 6am no one was in the office when I went to check out around 7am so I left my key card to the side of the glass partition. May want to put a towel at foot of door, there was a draft under the door since my room was 102 in the front.

the first room was dirty; mildew in the bathroom around the tub and on the ceiling. pealing paint and peeling wallpaper. some light fixtures inoperable, draperies hanging from broken supports. went through 3 different rooms with the same lack of cleanliness. one had broken cabinetry supporting the TV, one had mildew in the refrigerator and in another, the freezer portion of the refrigerator was unusable because it was completely filled with ice/frost showing that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. when i asked about a refund, i was told that i would have to pay for at least one night.I finally settled on the least dirty room and expressed my intention to check out first thing next morning. I was told on check out that i would have to contact Expedia for the remainder of my refund since i paid Expedia directly and not the hotel

Right out of the 1950s
Very poor accommodation. Bedspreads looked as if they had never been replaced. Bathroom not terrible, but also not especially clean - mold in shower. Beds like rocks. Lampshades old and didn't fit lamps. Only two good points - good TV that worked; no bed bugs (that I could find, and believe me, I looked after seeing the condition of the room.)

It was conveniently close to Wesleyn U. Even tho there was a mini-refrig (which I didn't need to use), not having an in-room coffee maker was a negative, nor any complimentary coffee in hotel lobby. The service was fine - even helped in printing out boarding passes.

Overnight stay
The room was very cold when we arrived. It took very long (over an hour) to get it warm using a very noisy A/C unit. It also takes more than one night to get used to the noise of the unit switching ON/OFF. This is beside the fact that someone from outside insisted that we open the door at 3 a.m.

The service was horrible. They have no Bus or mode of transportation from nearest hotel. They saw me arrive with three bags and none customer service representative helped; they all just stared. Don't go there.

Good for the price
A nice little room, had a king size bed, a couch, tv, coffee table. Bathroom was a little small. Nice hot water though. Air conditioning was decent. Could hear people from room next to/above us. Private but not really.

Stay away from this hotel!
Worst hotel I've stayed in within the USA. The guy who checked us in mumbled and wasn't friendly. Room smelled funny. When we came back to the room in the afternoon, the staff had given us a new roll of toilet paper and taken away a couple used towels but had not made up the beds. Had trouble with TV - only showed porn. That was the worst. Very embarrassing to have that happen when traveling with my teenage son. I read on another travel review site that someone else had the same experience. This hotel is inexpensive but you get a lot less than you pay for. Will NEVER stay here again.

they dont make your bed, their air conditioner doesn't really work. But they do have a freezer and a refrigerator which I was able to buy food and it kept my bill lower. It is not your typical motel where the service is good. But if you want a cheap place close to everything and you only going to be there for a couple of days that place is ideal. I loved it for that.

Best thing about the motel was its name.
No coffee available on site. Guests are given a ticket to redeem for a cup of coffee at the local gas station. Dried blood on one of the pillows. Floor was lumpy. Seemed like a rug had been pulled over gravel. AC was broken. Had to ask for help to get it going.

Stay Away
If you think that you're getting a low-priced, but suitable motel (like Motel 6), you would be wrong. Although the sheets and bathroom were clean, the rest of the room was very grimy. The TV control was stuck on the free porn channel. It is not possible to lock the outside door--the deadbolt had been disabled and the was no safety chain. I didn't stay there--I sought other accommodation.

Room was dirty, half the lights were not functioning,tables were falling apart, bedcovers not clean, no blankets, smelled musty. I suspect it is used as an hourly hotel. Front desk help was effecient.
