Gorgeous Castle Hotel Near Milan
This location is fantastic! The architecture is beautiful and I love the painted ceilings. Our room had dark wood beams in the ceilings and was spacious and very comfortable. We were conveniently located to many restaurants and the neighborhood was very calm and quiet. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel that was the perfect into our trip.

Bellissima dimora storica.
Hotel molto bello, edificio storico nel centro del paese vicino al fiume. Ci sono delle sale ampie e belle affrescate. La camera che ci hanno dato, una standard, piccola ma molto carina. Ottimo il bagno. La colazione ottima anche se di qualità non da 4 stelle. Personale gentile.

What a gem!
Staying in this beautiful castle was one of the unexpected highlights of our trip to Italy. It is an attraction on its own and absolutely worth visiting. The castle has very interesting history, it’s well kept, nicely remodeled and the rooms are beautiful (our had the view of the river). We had so much fun just exploring the castle and the little charming city in which it’s located. We would love to go back if in Milan area again and would definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates history, quiet, and locals place.

Location incredibile
Suite meravigliosa, molto pulita e curata. Poco personale in giro per la struttura, si rischia di perdersi nelle bellissime sale del palazzo (anche se questo da fascino alla struttura).

Great stay in an amazing hotel
The hotel is set in a castle right on the edge of the river which makes for a great setting. Lovely views over the river. The hotel is well kept with a courtyard in the middle and plenty of places to gather and socialize.The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a good selection and the food was of good quality. The area around the hotel has a few shops and restaurants and shops. I stayed here for business and was close to where I needed to be so I can not comment from a tourists point of view.

Quaint and special
Quiet, comfortable and very special. A truly special environment just outside of Milan. If you want Milan without the noise, dirt and craziness of the city this is the place to stay. 5 stars for comfort and environment. the breakfast is simple, but good enough.

GRAVE PROBLEME D'INSONORISATION
PROBLEME D'INSONORISATION CHAMBRE 102/103 Les chambres 102/103 sont malheureusement très mal insonorisées, du coup le client de la chambre 103 qui ronflait, nous donnait l'impression de dormir avec nous! Ce n'est pas acceptable. Nous l'avons signalé au personnel de nuit qui nous a répondu que l'hôtel était plein. Nous avions une seconde chambre prise initialement pour mon père qui ne pouvait pas venir et nous avons pu nous replier dans cette chambre et dormir. AUCUNE REPONSE DU DIRECTEUR A MON COURRIER SUITE A MON PROBLEME C'est vraiment dommage car cet hôtel est vraiment magnifique, le restaurant bon et les prix raisonnables. Pour qu'il n'y ait pas de confusion la seconde chambre prise pour mon père ne pouvait pas m'être remboursée car hors délais d'annulation ce qui est normal, en revanche le fait que la chambre 102/103 soient si mal insonorisées eut été une bonne raison d'être indémnisé car si les deux chambres (101/102) avaient été utilisées, l'un de nous n'aurait pas dormi.

Poor service
Service was terrible, if you are there any time from 3:30 to 7:30 no food, they don’t even give you an option or try to guide you to get food. No help to take your bags upstairs They don’t react to any request from assistance. After 1 hour of this lack of service I request to cancel and get refund. They refuse But the service was so poor fir a 4 start hotel that I decided to still walk out even after they refuse to refund the money. Better to lose some cash than a night of vacation

Converted Castle with Beautiful views
This was such a wonderful surprise. I was looking for a nice place to stay on the way from Milan airport to Lake Garda. This was a perfect spot. Located about 1 hr from the airport, this converted castle is a beautifully renovated getaway. Located right on the river, the views are wonderful. There isn't a lot to do in the town, but there is a nice large park and a river walk that is lovely. The hotel rooms are large (ours was a two story room) and they have a nice breakfast. I think the size and historical beauty of the hotel make it a great place for weddings and corporate events, but it was equally enjoyable for just a pleasant rest stop. I would think its proximity to Milan would also make it an ideal location for a weekend getaway

Old Fort but modern rooms.
This hotel was really cool. It is in an an old fort on a river but the rooms are very modern and clean. The only issue we had was the air conditioning didn’t cool the room much. The restarting was even good. There is an ice cream shop close by as well as a bakery, shopping, and river trail.

A very unique and relaxed atmosphere with great staff and facilities. Do yourself a favor and visit this place at least once if you happen to be in or around Milan. Experience the quintessential small town Italian life in this charming hamlet while staying here. Unique history, exquisit food and immaculate rooms round up this fantastic place. If it was good enough for Leonardo Da Vinci, it should be good enough for you.

Charming and old style Quaint
Beautiful old castle hotel. Air conditioning is a problem in the split rooms as only 1 Air con for a huge room so could not sleep well. They need to put 2 units. Otherwise quiet and beautiful with a 9th Century History

In generale bel hotel con un suo fascino. Belle e spaziose suites. Il ristorante bistro prepara dei ottimi piatti cosi anche come la colazione e ok. Negativo: la nostra suite puzzava di cucina/mangiare. Magari condizionatore/ventilazione e connessa con quella della cucina?. Riguardo la notte: troppo casino proveniente dalla piazza al entrata. Si dovrebbe controllare da parte del hotel. Sia persona che ascoltano musica e bevono dalla parte dei parcheggi che in piazza in se. Difficile dormire prima di un certo orario sopratutto con bambini

Sehr schönes sauberes exellentes Hotel. Erstklassige Rezeption mit Menschen zugewandten Mitarbeitern, sogar der frühe Check-in oder später Check-out möglich. Wunderbares Frühstück, die Zimmer sehr geräumig mit Stil in einem Historischen Gebäude.

Stunning hotel, absolutely beautiful building. 2 Night stay on a business trip. The room was lovely, arrived late and asked for room service meal and was delighted with the quality of the food and very reasonable prices too. Only issue I had was on the first night there were lots of flies in the room.

Saubere und bequeme Zimmer
Ein beeindruckendes historisches Gebäude mit sehr sauberen, gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und einem für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gutem Frühstück (Schinken, Käse, Brötchen). Kaffee frisch und nicht aus dem Automaten. Netter Ort mit ein paar guten einfachen Restaurants.
