Harmony all the way!
Nice little hotel up in the mountains. Perfect service, everyone made it so that we had a perfect stay. We stayed for two night. Nights were a little warm having the fan in the room was a blessing. Short into town. The breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel were delicious. Great views of the mountains . Perfect for a couple of days to get out of the noisy streets and beaches. I highly recommend it!

Great Minca base!
The location was amazing. A short 10 minute walk to town and amazing views. The staff were excellent with everything and also spoke English. We had really good WIFI, comfortable bed and a bi of hot water.

Quirky hotel, great surroundings
We really enjoyed our stay at Sweet Harmony. Staff were friendly and gave advice on things to do in the local area. There is also great choice for breakfast each morning. Guests also can explore the grounds of the hotel with a river and hammocks to enjoy. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We had a very disappointing stay. The rooms are overpriced and in a very bad state. The only brand new and nice rooms in the boutique are the 4 ‘suites’. Our room with a view had no AC and was extremely hot. The provided fans are of bad quality and do nothing. During our stay there was no warm water in our room. We asked several times if they could fix it, and every time they told us that they would take a look at it, which never happened. The cold shower is right in front of the big bathroom window without cover and the family next door can see you showering. The rooms are dirty and there are dead bugs everywhere. The sheets had yellow stains in it and we had to ask for new ones. The breakfast was also very disappointing and the bare minimum. The only 2 positive points is the nice view and the front desk speaking some english. But it is definitely not worth the money.

Very hot standard rooms without air conditioning
We were only able to book a standard room and regretted it. Since the hotel was full we were not able to upgrade either. The room was very hot and since there were so many mosquitoes we were not able to open up the window. We did have a nice rooftop terrace with a very nice view! The staff is very friendly and tries to help any way they can. They explained all the sites in the area and provided a map. We were a little surprised how far the hotel was from town. Definitely more then .37 miles away from town. I agree it would be nice to have a little bridge over the river to cut down travel time but since it is shallow we were able to wade through. It would also be nice to upgrade the rooms with screens on the windows in order to be able to open them and have the rooms cool off at night.

Nice hotel, a few minor tweaks could make it great
Nice hotel, very attentive staff, good breakfast. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from the main road, there are few hotels in Minca but many hostels. There was no air con so the room was pretty warm most of the time. The security in the room wasn't great ( window didn't lock shut for example) but we had no issues. The bathroom didn't have a blind so people from the rooms below could see in if they decided to walk around to the back of their room.

Tolle Aussicht in die Natur!
Die "Suites" sind ganz neu errichtet und jeweils in einem eigenen kleinen Bungalow mit großem Balkon untergebracht mit direktem tollem Blick in die Natur durch die große Glasfassade (sogar vom Bett aus!). Sehr gut und willkommen bei der Hitze die Klimaanlage, so hatten wir auch nachts keine Mücken im Zimmer. WIFI im Zimmer problemlos. Den direkten Zugang zum Fluss haben wir ebensowenig genutzt wie den kleinen Pool. Gutes Frühstück im Freien mit Wahlmöglichkeiten (nicht nur Rührei!). Das Hotel vermittelt Massagetermine in unmittelbarer Nähe bei einer Schweizerin (zu empfehlen). Der staubige Weg ins Dorf dauert zu Fuß ca. 15 min und hat sich auch im Dunklen mit Taschenlampe sicher angefühlt, kann für wenig Geld (ca. 1,50 €) aber auch mit dem Mototaxi zurückgelegt werden.

The rooms were nicely designed, but needed more curtains (or blocking materials) and screens. The shower has no blocking from the outside other than glass, and there is a house with an active driveway where the family cannot avoid looking in at. Guest. It would have been great to leave the big sliding glass door open all night to get the breeze, but the staff told us that mosquitoes and other biting bugs would have gotten in. The fan was bery weak, so the room was hot and stuffy, while the outside weather was great. Very limited food service at the hotel, so guests have to walk 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get into town. There is nice river below the property to wade around in. And there are some nice spaces to sit and relax when it’s not too hot. I gave the hotel an average score, because compared to other lodging in Minca, it was better than much of the competition.

Superbe chambre avec terrasse. Choix de déjeuner varié et délicieux. Attention, certaines chambres n’ont pas de balcon ni vue. Il est possible de rejoindre les restos de Minca en quelques minutes en taxi-moto pour 5000 COP. A pied en 15 minutes. Personnel attentionné.

Out-of-the-way hidden lodgings!
Whatever is being read here here should be contextualized - Minca is basically a village known for eco-tourism. So you can't really expect luxury. In any case, the room we had was very nice and spacious. We were located right next to the reception area, so we had Wifi but I know that other rooms do not get it. Room, Service and People are all 5 stars, especially given the area. The is big plus/minus = Location. Sweet Harmony is located around 20 mins walk from the village central square. On the one hand, you have your own little jungle type feel because of the isolation, which I will say is pretty cool (The river is located right below the lodge and you can hear the stream loud and clear- Its very nice) BUT, you always have to walk for 20 mins to the centre(The path maybe slushy during rainy season) or take a bike-taxi (USD $2). But overall Minca is a low-key place, so if you are staying for long, 20 mins wont make a huge difference. But overall the place is nice, rooms are good and staff is great.

Easy jungle living.
The hotel is in a wonderful location up on a hill with views in all directions. It even has access to the river where you can go for a quick dip in the afternoon to cool off. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The internet really only works in one common area so keep that in mind if you need to access it or do work from your room. I found the breakfasts in the morning to be lacking. Compared to other hotels in this price range we found it awful simple and without a lot of thought. If you don't have your own car it is quite a walk from town down a muddy dirt road. We didn't mind it but it could be an obstacle for others. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable with great little balconies. I agree with some other reviewers that it would be nice to have screens installed on the doors so the rooms can cool off nice in the evenings without letting all the bugs in.

Es war wohl mal ein schönes Hotel....
Die Lage ist gut; Ruhig und etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums. Allerdings macht der vorbeifliessende Bach recht viel "Lärm". Die Zimmer waren sicher mal schön, haben aber durch die andauernde Feuchtigkeit ziemlich gelitten. Die Wände sind teilweise mit Schimmel bedeckt. Es wurde wohl versucht diesen zu übermalen. Die Möbel inkl. Bett sind immer feucht. Eine Klimaanlage würde den Räumen gut tun. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist ganz gut. Da es in der Umgebung nichts zu essen gibt (ausser die paar restaurants im Zentrum) wäre man froh im Hotel etwas essen zu können. Mit viel glück erhält man eines der Mikrowellengerichte, welche sie anbieten. Pizza/Lasagne/Panini. Die Fotos entsprechen nicht mehr ganz den tatsachen. Der Pool ist dem braunem Flusswasser gefüllt...(Flussaufwärts ist das Dörfchen Minca - wo wohl deren Abwasser hingeht? 😂) Wifi funktioniert im Zimmer leider nicht.

Peaceful
Like all of Colombia, the people at Sweet Harmony were really nice and accomadating. The rooms are nice and so peaceful falling asleep to the sounds of the river. With no ac and having the windows open, do be prepared for lots of bugs and maybe even a lizard in your room. But that's just expected when staying somewhere surrounded by jungle. Hot water in the shower was a plus. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Minca.

Quiet place close to Minca
Great place to stay if visiting Minca. It’s away from the town, so nice and quiet. You can walk to town easily but it is along a bumpy and dark road. We had a car (4x4 or raised suspension recommended!) but others just walked and were perfectly happy. The views to river are great. There’s birds and cats and trees everywhere. Just great!

Lovely relaxing hotrl in the hills
Very relaxing three days in Minca. We tried the terrace room first - the terrace is just sun beds on the roof which is great if you just want to tan - but we much preferred the balcony room. Sitting out with a beer and watching the sun go down was lovely. Good breakfast, good staff. There wasn’t much food choice for dinner but the town is only a 10-minue walk.

Should and could be better than it is
The installations and location are good. Unfortunately, the owners are not local and the administration and services are not what you would expect for the type of 'boutique' hotel and price. With minimal expense to the hotel the experience could have been much more satisfactory. We were not offered a description of activities and services when we (6 people) arrived. Our attempt to modifiy dates failed, in spite of email and phone communication with Expedia and the hotel, at least 2 months in advance.

Getting in touch with nature...
If you enjoy remote with the sound of a mountain stream rushing over the rocks below surrounded by birds and lush foliage...then this is the place for you. Some troubles with hot showers and the pool needing a treatment to use but it was a fantastic break from the busy and noisy cities.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful hotel
Great botique hotel on the edge of Minca. The best beds ever and a delicious breakfast really top off this lovely hotel. The walk from town is a challenge so hire a moto taxi if you don’t want to walk the 15-20 mins

Disappointed based on reviews
Pool did not work and was empty, drinks were quite overpriced and we were given a room without a balcony which we had requested. Not worth the price, hostel next door (in which we stayed the next night) had better views and was cheaper for essentially the same services. Disappointed.
