La struttura è molto bella il giardino e la piscina esterna eccezionale, il personale gentile professionale e disponibile.La camera grande e curata nei colori e nei particolari nonostante sia una Classic, bello e grande anche il bagno.Abbiamo avuto modo di visitare le camere migliori e la magnifica suite guidati dalla signora Maria Pia che ringraziamo.

This beautiful property set in the Umbrian countryside is the ideal base for exploring the gorgeous hill towns of Umbria. The rooms are large and elegant with balconies overlooking the pool and gardens with beautiful trees in the foreground and villages and churches beyond. The restaurant serves marvelous food and has a great wine list. We had four superb days here and highly recommend it to everyone.

Verblijf was aangenaam, de villa heeft een groot zwembad. Parkeren is gratis. Internet is niet best en ontbijt is redelijk. Kamers zijn vrij donker. Er is geen service aangaande bagage je die door het grind moet rijden.

Exquisite visit
This is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. So many kinds of plants and trees it feels like a private park. Our room was huge, as was the bath, with a very relaxing shower. Also a private patio overlooking the gardens. A special mention for Fabrizio who made dining each evening a wonderful journey. He recommended a Sagrantino wine that quickly made my top two wines of all time list. His dinner explanations made choosing easy. His service and expertise made an already fabulous stay even more special.

Un luogo incantevole in cui soggiornare
È un luogo incantevole con un bel parco molto curato e una bellissima piscina. Il personale è gentilissimo. Il ristorante serve prodotti di qualità selezionata elaborati in ottime ricette. Se volete un relax con tutte le comodità, questo è il luogo adatto. Anche se volete visitare famosi luoghi dell'Umbria, qui siete in una posizione strategica. Ringrazio la direzione per l'accurata gestione e per il graditissimo upgrading.

Lovely Stay!
Lovely two night stay at the Villa Zuccari. Excellent, knowledgeable and helpful staff, great restaurant where we had a wonderful dinner, and a spacious room/bathroom plus a balcony. Very good choice of breakfast menu and inviting swimming pool with extensive grounds. The Villa is actually in a little sleepy village so a car is really essential here particularly as the cost of a return taxi fare to Montefalco, just over three miles each way was 40 Euros.

FANTASTISK sted - skal du til Umbrien, skal du til Villa Zuccarri! Absolutely amazing place. We like everything - the people/staff, the design, the rooms (large and large nice bathrooms and a big and very nice bed), the food, the big pool, the surroundings - the calmness and freindly professionalism. Relax in Villa
Esperienza totalmente positiva. Era la vacanza che ci aspettavamo di fare. Relax, tranquillità, tanto verde e buon cibo. Colazione in veranda con torte fatte in casa e relax in piscina per il resto della giornata. Ottimi piatti e vini al ristorante Le Zuppiere, aperto a cena. Impeccabile la pulizia. La consigliamo assolutamente e non vediamo l’ora di tornarci.

I was very excited about staying at this hotel having read the reviews & seeing the photos but you never really know what it’s going to be like until you get there. It is just as beautiful as the photos suggest and just as good as the reviews say. I had thought it was going to be a Villa surrounded by countryside, it is however in the pretty small village of San Luca, which does mean that not all bedrooms have an open view or aspect. Apart from that minor detail it really is stunning. And the swimming pool...utterly gorgeous, big, super clean, proper swimming pool. The food was delicious in the evenings, and staff excellent. We were delighted with our stay & hope to visit again.

Favorite place to stay
This is one of our favorite places to stay in the world. The villa is gorgeous (we have resolved to repaint our house pink and green, in homage) and the decor is timelessly elegant (the dining room is particularly special), but, most importantly, the people who own and operate it are wonderful and go above and beyond to help their (hapless, in our case) guests. Due to a malevolent GPS system, we managed to get our rental car stuck in a mud rut on a dirt “road” near the villa. We called the villa and they immediately jumped into action. Mr. Zuccari personally (with the assistance of multiple friends he recruited to help, including one with a tractor!) helped us pull the car out of the rut in the dark. Mrs. Zucchari is equally wonderful—she personally made a variety of delicious breads and pastries for breakfast (her croissants are amazing) and spent a long time talking with us about the villa, local wildlife and other matters. She even got up early to make us coffee when we had to leave to catch an early flight. Our only regret is that we can’t stay here all the time.

A Jewel in Umbria
From the moment we walked into Villa Zuccari we knew we had selected the perfect retreat for our weeks in Umbria. We loved the location and access to the smallest village in Trevi to easy access to Orvieto or Assisi. The wineries and the meals in every location were never disappointing. The owners of this property and Hotel San Luca in Spoleto have raised the bar for boutique hotels that can offer a personal hands on approach with exceptional staff

Be a guest at a villa
It was like staying as a guest in an Italian villa. Old world charm of a villa being in the family for generations. The owners priveless collection of antique Italian Terenes and books give a sense of knowing who you are staying with. The restuarant food was great. Piero was a wonderful host at the desk and at dinner. Breakfast had homemade goodies. The owner was very personal and we spent a wonderful time at breakfast talking with her. If you want to stay in Umbria, this is the place!

Stunning country house hotel
A beautiful house in lovely grounds. Spotlessly clean , helpful smiling staff, large comfortable rooms and a great restaurant. We couldn't fault this place.

The owners make this place wonderful!
The hotel was tucked away in a small town just outside of Montefalco. The rooms (including bathroom) were very large and decorated to the hilt. The owner makes the pastries (about 6-8) every morning. They have a wonderful dog, Pepo on premises which is very friendly and affectionate. We tried the restaurant and it was good as well. Service was impeccable

Wonderful place for relaxation and service
We had a wonderful stay of three nights in late October. The villa is a very special place with outstanding service and friendliness. The food in the restaurant was superb. The staff and owners make you feel welcome and right at home.

ein wunderschönes Hotel in zauberhafter Umgebung
Dieses Hotel ist ein kleines Paradies inmitten eines Parks mit wunderschönen Blumen und Pflanzen. Alles sehr gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgerichtet. Schöner Pool und herrliche Aussicht über die Landschaft. Unser Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und einfach zauberhaft. Gutes Restaurant mit Plätzen im Grünen, und netter Service. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Herrliches Frühstück mit vielen leckeren Köstlichkeiten von der Dame des Hauses liebevoll bereitet. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal für viele Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Leider erlaubte unser Kurzurlaub nur eine Nacht, aber wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We liked it very much. The personal was very helpful och the hotel with the pool suited us extreamly well. It is a very nice place, perhaps the best place we ever have visited. Breakfast and the restaurant was extreamly good!
