Staff was very polite and our requests for extra towels and an extra blanket was met. However this is an older property that could use some repairs and updates. The room was as clean as it could get but the carpet and furniture were clearly aged. Also the deadbolt didn’t work when locking from the outside. Not a huge deal as it’s Carmel and probably pretty safe, but for the price of the room it seems like a simple fix on managements part. There is as a fridge but no microwave. I should have checked that before making the reservation. The balcony was nice but it wasn’t covered and we couldn’t sit out and enjoy the rain.

Property is old with no recent updates. TV didn’t work, maybe because it’s over 10 years old if not more. Room is cold, heater wouldn’t kick on. Mattress is not comfortable, hard! Room 35, don’t recommend this hotel unfortunately!

Big room where we could spread out was nice and clean with a patio for our small dogs. Great location with easy underground parking garage so you can walk everywhere. I would stay here again.

I love this hotel. Great location and very comfortable. The fireplaces in the room are a dream when it is chilly outside! We will be back.

Property very nice but needs a microwave, bigger tv for the size of the room in my opinion. Needs AC if you come in the summer I’m sure it can be hot in the room. But room was very clean and cozy and great location.

Excellent stay
The front desk was so helpful with giving us pointers of places to go. A map that had every thing around town which made finding places super easy. Parking garage was spacious and felt safe. Room was cozy, clean, and actually pretty big which was a plus and a great patio.

Property is located in historical Carmel by the sea by restaurants, shopping, boutiques, coffee, and other amenities . When I went it was quiet and calm. Slept good on bed and comfortable pillow and sheets. Underground parking included (don’t take your over sized truck :) Ice, refrigerator, blower, no safe . Cons: noises old floors and blower. Windows are old and won’t seal real good. No cleaning during three day stay.

Nice Room with quiet location.
Room was spacious, clean. Shower could use an upgrade but was clean and functional. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was convenient to beach and shopping and food. Really could not ask for a better experience.

The hotel was good, carpets are not very clean and everything was pretty old so it couldn’t be in better shape, slide door was very hard to move and entrance door was old which has lots of space in between, sheets was clean , so in total was not bad , the hotel location was great and was the best part of the trip to the beautiful Carmel but the price for around 500 each night noway worth. Although all hotels over there are in same range, you pay for location actually,

Quiet inn with parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a nice 10-minute walk to the beach along 8th street. Javier at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with our fury babies.
