The room i booked on expedia was not the room i received and when i inquired i was informed that it was more money even thought i showed them my confirmation. The room i did receive didn't have working heat and the shower leaked everywhere.

All rooms have signs saying No Smoking but someone clearly still smoked in this room. Also could hear all of my next door neighbours conversations and when they called for pizza order, could even hear the guy on the phone. Unsurprisingly they also complained and mocked Dreamland motel so that was an indirect highlight.

Nice quiet place... bedding was itchy
Have stayed here before with no problems... quite enjoyed it, however, this time the bedding seems to have been washed with a harsh detergent and we had to cover the bedding with our own bedding because it was itchy. No bugs...just itchy. No-one got any sleep. 4 people but only 2 towels for bathing. Otherwise, quiet area. No amenities close by. Good for a quick stop over. Owners very friendly.

Poor
Minimal lighting. 1 ceiling light, one bedside light for a queen bed with a bedside table on one side occupied by a mini-fridge so no room for a light or space to put your phone, your glasses or a book. No light at a desk in the corner. No counter space in a minimal bathroom. Recently renovated but very few power outlets. No closet. 1 clothes hanger on a rack on the wall.

Ok, but not the best
The manager was super friendly and give us a good service, but the room needed love. Not really clean...I was scared to let my suitcase on the floor. But finally, even if I was scared of bed bugs, everything was okay.

The place smelled like they just put new carpet over old carpet. Lamp shades were stained yellow. The old wiggley chair was recovered by stapling new material over looks like a 20 yr old did renovations. Outside door dirty so much for covid .....Because I took 15 mins to go ask for Refund the gentleman at desk said no refund !! So I gave back my key and had to go find another hotel .

Our original room was so small it was difficult to move around, and it smelled real bad. We paid to upgrade to a kitchenette. It was clean and much roomier, but it was cold with no thermosat to turn the heat up. We were given a space heater to help. Lamps were either not working, falling apart or bulbs were blown, so lighting was poor both in the room and the hallway. Let management know, but nothing was done to rectify the situation.

Door would not close and stay locked. And there were multiple bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. Also the people upstairs were very loud.

Dreamland in moose Jaw
The room smelt really musty we had to go by fabreeze and room deodorizer I went to move a table to put my computer on it was so dirty under and behind it I could not move it or my Husband would have never stayed there I believe the carpet and furniture need to be shampooed the cleaners need to clean around and behind furniture. Other than that the room was large and comfortable.

I would NOT recommend this hotel! It smelled so strongly of wet carpet that we could hardly stand it. The ceiling looked to have severe water damage and black around all the corners and edging. The tub wouldn't drain and was missing bits of hardware on the facet so it wasn't useable, besides the fact that there were OTHER PEOPLE'S HAIRS IN THE TUB. Grime in all the corners, no way to call the front desk, no shampoo only tiny soaps, the phone was disgusting, the decor was out of date... we didn't dare go under the blankets on the bed. save yourself the money and go somewhere you can actually sleep.

Toilet non functional, spewed sewage from beneath the fixture all over the bathroom. Staff very reluctant to help with the problem, accusing us of doing something to cause the problem and initially refusing to consider changing rooms. Eventually offered a room change right next door to problem room, which clearly was malfunctioning similarly. We had to move on to another hotel. Request to provide refund for payment made at checkin refused. Will be following up with expedia and with credit card provider in attempt to obtain cancellation of cc payment. If unsuccesful, $100 down the drain...but at least something went down the drain, if not down the toilet drain. Lol

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
After a long and hot day at the Air show in Moose Jaw We finally arrived at the Dreamland Motel to check in. Only they gave our room away!! I booked online using Hotels.com 3 months prior, received a confirmation number however they did not book me a room! The owner Khubbart said he owned another motel downtown called Capone's Hideway. I did not realize what hell awaited us until we opened the door to the grossest, dirtiest, sketchiest room I have ever stepped foot into. It had not been cleaned, things were broken and falling apart! Beyond disgusting. There was no smoke alarm, microwave was broken, A/C was caked with dust and barely worked. If it wasn't 9 pm and if we weren't 3 hours away from home we would have left that prison rom in a heartbeat. Even though it was Dreamland Motel's screw up they expected me to pay full price for literally the most atrocious room I have ever set my eyes on. It looked like a drug dealer room with fluorescent lights and the sink broken and falling off the wall. We will NEVER go back to either the Dreamland Motel of Capone's Hideaway. Horrible horrible. I want a full refund for their HUGE mistake.

The air conditioner did not work in our room and it was 36 outside. I feel they knew about it but had not fixed it from previous complaints possibly. The door needs to fit tighter so as nothing can get in such as bugs and mice. \i feel the carpet also needed a good cleaning.

The front desk staff was very pleasant. The rooms are not in great shape but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. The towels looked like they had been around too long.

Authentic Motel Experience
What a great place! Almost half the price of all the rest yet you get your own entrance, a full kitchen and floor to ceiling wood paneling. It's old but it well kept and very comfortable. If you want a deal, or want an authentic motel experience, or want a good place to stay for the night - then this is your place. Most other hotels in Moose Jaw are way overpriced, but this place is not. Most places this price are real dives but this place is not. The people at the front desk are also very friendly, down to earth and helpful.

Nice room..
The room was too hot because of the thermostat I think was broken. But when we asked for a help to fix that they responded immediately. So we were glad that we slept comfortably.

It's description is an economy motel and at the price, they provided us a comfortable bed,a clean space, friendly and helpful staff. It is easy to find and quiet; meals are to be found elsewhere. It suited our needs well.

Glad it was one night
The man at the desk was very friendly. The room was clean but very dated. The driveway to around the back needed to be swept. It had dirt coming up the curb. I found this unpleasant. There was a homemade box stair to get to the doorway. My husband is on crutches. I had made that clear before going to the room. He was able to get in the door, but I was not impressed. The shower had no floor mat for the tub. I felt it was not safe for my husband to get in and out of. He did not shower there. If we ever go back to Moose Jaw, and I hope we will, we will not stay there again.

A great rest stop!
It was a perfect stop for 1 am. The staff (thank you so much!) stayed up waiting for me to arrive! We parked right at the room's door, carried in our stuff and left by 7 am. Perfect spot to clean up and rest!

Secluded
This is an antique of a hotel, a little creaky, but interesting. Very good price. The town is small, but not rundown. Blair is up and coming with an excellent library, several food choices and a nice pub just a block away. Beware that one of the ways they save money is the place only has staff for limited hours.
